All excellent...Spectacular Cacio e Pepe...Tasty Picchiapo', meatballs like the homemade ones.
My son really enjoyed the Carbonara and the Coda alla Vaccinara.
True Roman cuisine...months ago I ate in a famous Trattoria in Testaccio...there was no comparison... Trattoria Le Romane wins the comparison big time!!

Excellent amatriciana with both rigatoni and homemade fettuccine.
I was surprised by the omelette with potatoes, bacon, onion and pepper. Truly exquisite. Never eaten but for the first time I would say it is worth trying.

Typical Roman restaurant, Cinzia Roberta and all the staff are extremely helpful, fast, professional and with that friendliness that distinguishes family restaurants of the past.
The dishes are nothing short of extraordinary: I recommend the practically perfect artichokes alla giudìa, the courgette flowers, all the traditional pastas (in particular the best gricia ever!!), the oxtail, the bagnapò, the lamb licking your chops and homemade desserts.
It's a shame that we can't give 10 stars because they deserve them all!

Don't let yourself be fooled by the frugal and spartan environment: the cuisine, anything but frugal in portions, evokes ancestral and primitive flavours, therefore authentically genuine and therefore moving, which in the metropolis, now completely at the mercy of melting pot fashions and of the cheap fast-food options, have been completely forgotten.
Simply stratospheric mezze sleeves alla gricia, to be eaten again if you weren't already full after the first portion; the queue alla vaccinara, another great <<forgotten>> in the kitchens of the capital, is alone worth the trip to this priceless trattoria.
A must for anyone who loves Roman cuisine, in its truest version.

Excellent products cooked according to the best Roman tradition. Unbeatable. And when you finish eating you can't wait to come back to taste the other dishes or the off-menu items that change from time to time.

We ate wonderfully, everything was super excellent, I could not cease to be amazed by the goodness of each dish.. everything was of high quality.. nice, friendly and very friendly staff, a very familiar atmosphere. I highly recommend.. I will definitely be back ❤️😉

Buon indirizzo trovato grazie a TA, altrimenti non sarebbe molto facile da individuare, essendo raggiungibile solo in macchina. Il cibo è buono: consiglio la pasta fresca con cacio e pepe.
Porzioni giuste che non strabordano.

Trattoria semplice e accogliente dove gustare i piatti più iconici della cucina romana. Molto buona la carbonara, anche se forse avrei preferito che i pezzetti di guanciale fossero leggermente più grossi, in modo da essere croccanti fuori e leggermente più morbidi dentro, ma è una mia preferenza. Eccellente la trippa alla romana. Discrete porzioni, non enormi ma certo non scarse, e prezzo onesto.
