Dinner with friends made fantastic by the good food and the staff! From the appetizer to the dessert we ordered, there was nothing that was wrong, authentic flavors and generous portions, typical Roman dishes, I recommend rigatoni with pajata then tripe and oxtail stew, excellent meat and desserts all ordered to share but the ricotta and sour cherry tart is amazing!!

I'd like to help everyone by telling you that I recommend this quaint restaurant because it feels like you're in the heart of Rome, the true Roman way, thanks to the abundant and exceptional food. I've been there three times, the last one being Sunday, March 8th, to celebrate my friend Barbara's 50th birthday, and they outdid themselves. The cuisine is truly traditional Roman. I loved everything about it because it was special. Besides the food, the friendly, homey atmosphere that only Spartaco can create, combined with the kind and professional wait staff, is truly wonderful. In short, guys, you have to go there because it's amazing. Highly recommended.

It's a must-try experience for anyone seeking Roman cuisine and much more.
Everything is very Roman—the owner, the staff, the menu, and the ambiance.
It's an osteria, a fraschetta, a trattoria—in short, it has the right atmosphere for its name.
The first courses are very good. Tasty.
The appetizer is a must-try! Very generous, with a box of cured meats brought directly to the table for you to slice yourself (all you can eat).
We didn't get to the second courses, but the desserts are also worth trying. A coffee and an after-dinner drink are a must, as is a typical Roman dinner.
Simply wonderful! Excellent and incredibly friendly service, delicious dishes with super generous portions! Truly old-fashioned cooking, authentic and homemade! Highly recommended!

A typical Roman restaurant. The rigatoni alla pajata, carbonara, and amatriciana are both plentiful and truly high-quality. The coda alla vaccinara (oxtail stew) is simply breathtaking, as are the beans with pork rinds. I didn't like the suckling pig, which was too chewy. The artichokes alla giudia and alla romana are traditional. The desserts are delicious. The staff is fast and friendly (Spartaco is a local icon). Parking in the immediate area is difficult to find.

We visited this trattoria and were truly delighted. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, perfect for a relaxing evening.
We ate very well: tasty dishes, prepared with quality ingredients. You can taste the simple yet authentic cuisine, the kind that makes you feel at home.
The service was also kind and attentive, without being intrusive. Overall, it was a truly pleasant experience, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat well and feel at home!

A true "TRATTORIA" complete with a host. The appetizer includes a make-your-own cured meats box, along with very good bruschetta and fried foods. I recommend the first course samples. The suckling pig is tops.
