15/04/2026: I went yesterday with a colleague and was really pleased with this restaurant. I had a fish appetizer and a fish risotto, both excellent. The service was excellent. I recommend it.

08/04/2026: The appetizers were excellent, with cod and baby octopus Luciana-style. We asked for the catch of the day and opted for baked sea bass with potatoes. It arrived dry and burnt. When we asked, the maître d' explained that for them, baked means first opening it, grilling it, and then baking it... I've never had sea bass from the counter like this... The waiters were very courteous, but the maître d' needs to rethink his job. Sometimes, just saying "sorry, I'll make you something else" isn't "I'd better leave"... "It's crowded here." When you ask for a catch, you bring it out first and then open it up in front of the customer.

09/04/2026: The service is always super excellent, but the menu loses us without LASAGNA AND FRIJOLES...BUD beans fail.

29/03/2026: What a discovery! The restaurant is just minutes from the house we rented to spend a few days in Rome. We ate divinely prepared traditional Roman dishes: everything was delicious. From the puntarelle, topped with a truly unique anchovy emulsion (never tasted like it in any other restaurant in Rome), to the simply exquisite gricia, to the carbonara and artichokes. The desserts, all homemade, were also delicious, and even the bread was excellent. The service was excellent: the people who welcomed us were very kind and very knowledgeable.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, which really makes the difference. Plus, there are also lots of board games that make the experience even more fun. Highly recommended!

17/03/2026: Argot is exactly what it's supposed to be: an authentic, uncompromising speakeasy. The experience begins even before entering, with that sense of discovery that's an integral part of the concept. Once inside, you find yourself in an extremely refined, hidden, almost secretive environment. Soft lighting, thoughtful details, and a cozy atmosphere: everything contributes to creating the intimate, slightly clandestine atmosphere you'd expect from a true speakeasy. The venue manages to maintain a strong identity without falling into excessive theatricality. It's elegant, but not forced. Evocative, but believable. The cocktail menu is of a good standard, fittingly fitting, and well-executed. The only small drawback is a slightly limited selection, which might leave those seeking great variety longing for a few more options. Nothing that detracts from the experience, but there's room for improvement.
