27/05/2026: Very different experience at the atrattpria Napoleone. Had it as part of my dinner and opera package and so glad i did. I would have misses this little gem off the beaten path. The food was delicious and different from every other place I have eaten in Italy thus far. Great job!
24/05/2026: Enchanting location! Just like being in another era. Friendly and knowledgeable waiters. The welcome dish was very well received. Spectacular meat! First-rate, both the tagliata and the tartare with truffle. I didn't really like the mussels with pepper sauce I ordered because it lacked pepper or salt, and the mussels weren't fresh. The wine list is excellent. The wait between courses was a bit long, even though we arrived early.

11/06/2026: I've been there several times to eat raw fish, and it's never disappointed me. The fish is incredibly fresh, the customer service is excellent, and the atmosphere is refined. One small issue yesterday...the trays containing the raw fish were very large (if that's a flaw) for the size of the table! Thank you for being there. Highly recommended!

21/05/2026: The meat is very good, but everything else is a complete joke. Don't even think about ordering a side; the can of baked beans is tasteless. As for the hamburger, it's just a cheap ground beef patty! What a shame, because the atmosphere is quite nice.
21/05/2026: I ordered a hamburger, and it was just a steak... The least they could do is specify that, because traditionally, a hamburger comes with bread and condiments. And the sides are expensive and poorly prepared (the pea salad isn't even dressed...). Too expensive for what it is, even if the meat is good.

17/05/2026: A fabulous little restaurant that we came to at the recommendation of our Airbnb host. We had to book in advance and pay a deposit. It was well worth it. First the ambiance and service were wonderful. The fried mozzarella was a really fun dish (think very very refined Italian version of mozzarella sticks!) We had 2 of the pastas with seafood and I didn’t want the experience to end because of how tasty and well balanced the flavors and textures were. To top it all off the baked ricotta and berries desert was one of the best deserts I’ve had. I think it was seasonal. We left wishing we had time come back here again. Highly recommend.
16/05/2026: 5 stars for its category: a neighborhood restaurant with a short menu and fresh ingredients. Well-prepared dishes. Everything is flavorful. The meats are excellent, including the Chianina, this exceptional Italian breed of beef. Reasonable prices. I'll be back.

05/05/2026: This was the best place we dined at in Florence. We ended up going two evenings in a row because we wanted to try more dishes from the menu. It’s a cosy yet chic spot, filled with warm and welcoming people who clearly have a deep love and respect for what they do. Truly top-tier, authentic Italian cuisine, paired with a lovely atmosphere and genuinely kind service. We hope to return to the city (and this place in particular) very soon.
05/05/2026: We had a very pleasant dinner. The cuisine was traditional but not predictable. The quality and preparation were excellent. The service was prompt and friendly. Not cheap, but not overpriced.

28/04/2026: If you want to experience authentic, authentic, and delicious Florentine food, you can't miss Il Giova.
Excellent ingredients, generous portions, and unique traditional Florentine flavors, all complemented by friendly, fast, and impeccable service, and a relaxed, informal atmosphere that makes you want to sample their local red wine even more. Prices are absolutely average, and I'd recommend it to everyone. I hope to visit again soon. I especially recommend their tagliolini with truffle; whatever you order, it'll be worth it.

26/04/2026: Exquisite typical Tuscan restaurant, all the appetizers we tried were fabulous (the pecorino and truffle casserole is highly recommended), the staff were kind, professional, and very friendly and welcoming. We dined there with a group of 7 people and they were extra attentive to the birthday girl!
20/04/2026: Booked this last minute on a Sunday evening and so glad we did. The lady and young man looking after our group of 8 were wonderful and welcoming.
The food was delicious - couldn’t have asked for more.

06/05/2026: Pizzeria in the city center, near the Pitti Palace, offering a few appetizers, several pizzas, and a few desserts. The pizza is served in a wooden box, and they bring it already sliced, which is nice for sharing among dinner guests. The dough isn't bad, though some of it might lack a bit of kick. It's a shame the beer tap wasn't working, and the 0.5-liter bottles in the fridge ran out quickly. The service is very friendly. Prices are a bit above average. There were 11 of us, and for 14 pizzas, 10 beers, and 4 0.5-liter bottles of water, we paid €28 each.

12/05/2026: Delicious paninis and great service! The staff welcomed us at the door, gave us samples and recommendations for the meats and cheeses, and we asked them to add their recommended toppings on one of our sandwiches and it was delicious!!
We got two paninis and really enjoyed the walnut grain bread and stracciatella. I would ask the staff for their recommendations and let them choose the toppings!
Super filling and flavorful!
11/05/2026: Don’t sleep on this place just because it’s right next to the Duomo in a touristy spot. If you want to have the best sandwich of your life, this is the only panini shop you need to go to! If you’re scrolling Instagram or YouTube or just browsing Google Maps looking for the right sandwich shop, look no further. Panini Toscani will change your life. They let you sample the cheese and meats before you pick, you get to assemble your own sandwich, and everything is delicious. Service is also impeccable, especially for such a small shop. It’s no wonder the feature high on most influencers’ lists!

31/05/2026: Great place with the best Ampredotto sandwich in Florence, guys, long live the Florentine who really cares about making his sandwich known... if it was closer to the center there would be a queue outside at all hours but for now we locals are enjoying it... if you are passing through it is well worth it
