08/01/2026: The atmosphere was refined and the staff were very helpful and professional, ready to answer any of our questions. We ordered a terrine of liver with vin santo (a dish prepared exclusively for this Christmas season), which was superb. Afterwards, we continued with pasta with pecorino and truffle, and pappardelle with wild boar, both mouth-watering. All washed down with an excellent bottle of Chianti Classico. The price was reasonable for the quality and the location. Highly recommended.

08/01/2026: We found everything excellent: the warm welcome, the excellent food (the pici with "Medici" ragù were superb), the beautiful dining room. We definitely recommend it to anyone passing through Greve.

06/04/2026: Craving lunch out of town...so I started looking for a nice little restaurant in Chianti. I found this place, which I have to say satisfied me in every way: super kind, attentive, and knowledgeable staff! Especially when it came to helping me choose the wine (they have over 300 labels available). The food was pretty easy, as we already had a clear idea 🥩. The price was in line with what we ate and drank, no complaints. Recommended, and when we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

06/04/2026: We had lunch at the Lamole restaurant for a birthday. We arrived late, with 9 slightly nervous and hungry children 😅, yet we were greeted with the utmost kindness! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, from the first to the last! We were able to accommodate all our requests, even the most unusual ones, with courtesy and friendliness! Because there were so many of us, we tried so many different dishes, and everyone was satisfied! Everything was delicious, high-quality, and served on time, which is not a given! 5 full stars for everything! A BEAUTIFUL, WELCOMING place with great food, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

11/04/2026: We called the restaurant to arrange takeaway (tired kids and all). The staff were so thoughtful, everything was ready within 15 minutes and more importantly very tasty. The meatballs were good with great tomato sauce. Try the mushroom and tortelli in veal, cream and porcino sauce.

12/04/2026: We’ve visited La Fattoria di Vignamaggio three times already, and every visit has been an amazing experience. The estate is absolutely stunning, and the restaurant serves delicious, high‑quality food at very reasonable prices. For our wedding, we booked a sensory tour for a family group of 20 people, including children, and it was fantastic. The organisation was impeccable, our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and the entire property is beautifully restored and presented. We made our own spice mix, did an olive oil tasting, and sampled their speciality delicacies while touring the estate. The on‑site shop also offers a wide range of high‑quality, delicious products they make themselves. Highly recommend a visit — even if it means taking a detour. Also very kid‑friendly

18/04/2026: The eggplant tartare is AMAZING. The pici all'aglione and pappardelle al ragu are also...really, really good! KUDOS to the kitchen. The service was also perfect. Stunning view of the valley.

The beef plates were simply amazing. A visual and it was 35th in line. Peter Myles attended the induction ceremony. He has spoken only sparingly about what that gastronomical event

03/03/2026: An exceptional celebration of beef! Your host, Dario, delivers entertainment along with his skill and passion for a well cooked meal from start to finish. The set menu lunch is an experience a foodie should experience at least once in their lifetime. Definitely worth the out of the way trip to his hometown. TIP: Parking lot is on the left before you get into the city and had a back door entrance into the restaurant. No parking on the street or close to the front of the restaurant.

20/04/2026: Close to Greve's main square, this cozy place offers delicious pici with pecorino cheese and guanciale, and a top-notch chocolate cake. The service is professional and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

19/04/2026: If you're looking for a warm welcome, but also quality products and service, then this is a must-visit. I stopped for lunch at Trattoria D'ì Borgo, a welcoming, clean, and heartwarming place. I had coccoli, stracchino, and prosciutto. The coccoli were piping hot and soft as a cloud, and the stracchino was so fresh it melted in my mouth. For dessert, I chose the cup of tiramisu, which was so delicious that I was speechless! Friendliness, but also attentiveness, and customer care make this trattoria a jewel in the heart of the village of Greve. We really enjoyed our stay, and congratulations to all the staff. We'll be back!

30/03/2026: We stayed at this agriturismo with three couples from Genoa and were absolutely thrilled with the whole experience! We did both the tasting (wine and olive oil from their own production) and the dinner, and everything was delicious. You can really taste the quality of the products and the care they put into them. A big thank you to Federico, the owner: you can tell he's incredibly passionate about what he does! He's also very knowledgeable and excellent at explaining everything in a simple and engaging way. We highly recommend the wine trekking, as it's a complete and truly wonderful experience. The prices are more than fair for what they offer: a truly top-notch experience, we'll definitely be back!

29/03/2026: Villa Ulivello is a truly special agriturismo! Federico runs the villa and the vineyard with immense passion. My wife and I stayed three nights in the Apricot Room and enjoyed a breathtaking view (see photo). The room, the restaurant, the dinners and breakfasts, as well as the phenomenal house Chianti Classico, were perfect. We highly recommend Ulivello and will definitely return. The wine hike is a must; you not only learn a great deal about the local wines but also get to taste them afterward with a delicious meal – the highlight of our holiday!

11/04/2026: Impasto TOP, it's a little out of the way for those in Florence, but it's worth the trip. Delicious, original pizzas, wine, desserts. Everything is good and original 👍

10/04/2026: Very nice place, I expected a good pizza, but instead... IT WAS PHENOMENAL. A very nice and helpful girl served me, I think her name was Iris (beautiful name!), and after explaining the menu and format of the pizzeria with a big smile, I opted for the tasting menu, which she noticed, explained, and served. Pizzas this good already exist, even if they're not around the corner, but I find that girl's kindness and preparation even harder to find. This place is a great find, even if it's a bit hidden. GREAT!

23/03/2026: Amazing location, great day, very friendly and attentive staff, perfectly cooked meat (for me). The wine paired perfectly with the bruschetta with lard outdoors. Everything was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Maestro Cecchini before leaving and exchanging opinions on horse meat (I'm Sicilian). See you next time.
