10/09/2025: My wife and I have been to this restaurant several times in recent years. We love returning because it's close to where we live, the owner and his staff are always very kind and courteous, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, you feel very pampered, in short, it's really good. The food, however, is almost always a mixed bag. Given that it's not a cheap restaurant, you'd expect to eat very well, or at least that the classic spaghetti with clams would be much better than what I can make myself at home. However, this isn't often the case. Within the same dinner, there are noteworthy dishes, such as marinated anchovies (wow), and then linguine cacio e pepe di mare, where you can't taste the sea at all but only the cheese, the fantastic tuna meatball (wow), and stuffed squid that never arrived. I've always wondered when I go to a high-end restaurant how much of my money is actually split between the ambiance (personal setting) and the quality of the food. I'd prefer the latter to be given priority, but I realize that's probably not the case. I mean, I can pay €30 for a plate of spaghetti with clams, but when I leave, damn, I wish I could say, "Wow, that's amazing!" Anyway, it's still a good restaurant. Good work C.

07/09/2025: We've been guests at this restaurant several times, and the owner and his cuisine always amaze us. A welcoming and refined location, impeccable service. Guests are welcomed and pampered throughout. I recommend it.

23/08/2025: Fast food just steps from the Duomo, perfect for a quick but tasty break. The food is good and well-prepared, with generous portions. Special mention goes to the very friendly and pleasant waiter, who makes the experience even more enjoyable.

However, I must admit, they're always kind and helpful, and have always accommodated us in one way or another. Excellent food, excellent service (the waiters are volunteers, by the way), and a relaxed atmosphere. Well done everyone.

25/08/2025: Wow - a fantastic restaurant. One of the best pizza's I have ever had and the pasta is divine. Will go back and stay in the area again just to revisit this restaurant! Edit as of August 2025 - just booked a week there in October and will be reserving for both of the Thursdays and Fridays I can do. Looking forward to it already!

02/09/2025: Nice and spacious place, both inside and out, comfortable enough for a disabled person, with helpful staff. Parking is available on-site. The menu is varied and offers plenty of choices at reasonable prices. There were four of us, and we went for lunch and ordered a seafood crostini, a mussel pepper dish, and a seafood appetizer (good portions, everything was delicious). We also ordered two tagliolini with lobster, a seafood spaghetti, and a fried seafood dish with potato chips. All accompanied by still water, a sparkling water, a liter of house white wine, a strawberry, a tiramisu, two coffees, and an Amaro del Capo liqueur. All for €138. Excellent price, quality, and quantity. Recommended!

21/07/2025: Excellent gelato, truly artisanal. If you stop by often, there are always new flavors to try. The girls are very kind, and last but not least, parking is always convenient.

11/08/2025: You know how sometimes you walk into a restaurant and KNOW you're in for a treat? This was one such place. A small menu which avoids most of the common dishes other places offer, in favour of a more curated and unique offering of dishes. We tried the aubergine crostini, quail and zucchini flower risotto, and pork and spinach roulade. We damn-near cried while eating. The location was beautifully dark and aged, with tables that looked like they'd seen centuries of use and plates stamped with the restaurant's name. Soft jazz in the speakers. Quiet clink of dishes.

28/07/2025: Come ogni anno torniamo sempre alla trattoria dalla Santina e come sempre non ci delude mai. Tutto ottimo dagli antipasti ai primi passando per i secondi e concludendo con dei favolosi dolci. Tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa che non è scontato al giorno d’oggi. Poi Duccio come sempre ti accoglie e ti fa sentire in famiglia.

18/08/2025: We were in Florence on vacation and had been highly recommended this restaurant. So, we entered, sat down, and were greeted courteously by the waiter, and then exemplarily by the owner, who treated us with incredible delicacy. We ordered a Florentine steak, which was shown to us raw, and after confirming the price, we confirmed that it would be prepared... When it arrived, what can I say? Her Majesty Fiorentina, 1kg of incredibly tender delicacy, melt-in-your-mouth! What can I say? If we return to Florence, we will definitely be back here! 01/09/2025: After a long journey, I was fortunate enough to find this restaurant, located just off the highway. An oasis of flavor and hospitality! The freshest fish, cooked to perfection, and the service was truly impeccable. Special thanks to Marco, the waiter, whose professionalism and class made the experience even more enjoyable with his invaluable recommendations. Kudos to the entire staff! I hope to return soon.
