22/06/2025: While on vacation in Tuscany, we stopped by chance at this restaurant. Impeccable service, a very friendly owner, delicious food, and excellent wine. In short, we went there twice! From the aperitif to the coffee with a starter and main course, expect to pay around 45 euros per person.

19/07/2025: Massimo Macelleria Francini con Cucina is a carnivore’s paradise. Massimo exudes a warmth that immediately makes you feel welcome and at home. We walked in without a reservation on a Friday night, and he greeted us with genuine hospitality. We asked him to surprise us with the menu, and what followed was an epicurean delight. The steak was, without question, the best I’ve had in this region — perfectly grilled, richly flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. The tartare was equally outstanding. Massimo also paired a bottle of Chianti that complemented the steak beautifully. I jokingly told him that anyone who can grill like that has a spot in heaven. This restaurant is a true carnivore’s delight. Every detail shows the love and mastery behind the food. I highly recommend it and will definitely return one day. Thank you, Massimo, for a truly special experience.

04/05/2025: Locale grazioso alle porte del bellissimo borgo di Scarperia. Abbiamo pranzato nella taverna nel piano seminterrato, davvero caratteristica. Due primi con ottimo ragù tagliata, dolce e caffè, il tutto annaffiato da ottimo vino della casa. Tutto buonissimo, abbiamo digerito tutto e questo e garanzia di grande qualità. 10/06/2025: One of my favorite restaurants in Florence, second only to one. The atmosphere is warm and full of character, with a refined yet relaxed charm. The food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A lovely spot for a slow, enjoyable evening.

10/06/2025: Rarely has a restaurant impressed us so much that we returned several times – but the Casa della Bistecca in Empoli did it. The meat quality is outstanding: perfectly aged, prepared to perfection, and presented with attention to detail. From the Bistecca Fiorentina to the finer cuts – everything is just right here. The desserts are a poem. Add to that a stylish, cozy ambiance and attentive service. Highly recommended.

29/06/2025: I was in this restaurant for lunch, what can I say, a cool environment, a beautiful terrace overlooking the Tuscan hills, a breezy terrace despite the 32 degrees. The food of other times, as well as the generous portions, tasty dishes and genuine fresh ingredients, we ate as an appetizer some delicious mussels, a linguine allo scoglio and a mixed fry with homemade mayonnaise. I had a beautiful relaxed lunch and I left more than satisfied!!! Attentive and friendly staff, they didn't miss a thing! I'll be back as soon as possible! Ps. I came from Sasso Marconi (Emilia Romagna) to eat the fish I had heard so much about from friends!
