31/08/2025: Absolutely LOVED my experience at La Gramola. Massimo and Cecilia, the owners, are such a charming couple and have created a lovely gem of a restaurant. We popped in here on a whim and now I would go out of my way to return to Tavarnelle to come back. The pici pasta was so fresh and the sauce was delicious. The pork cubes blew my socks off- 10/10. The tiramisu is made fresh to order and a fun spin on the classic with homemade biscotti. The torta della ricotta was to die for- came out warm. Cecilia is the chef and she came to our table to say hello after our meal. Massimo told us about how he’s the photographer, and how they built this restaurant and created their cookbooks together. They also do cooking classes - something to add to my list for the next trip to Tuscany. We can’t wait to come back!

28/08/2025: Went there based on a recommendation. The tartare was just mixed meat with a spoon of Dijon, the pasta tasted no different than a store bought one.

05/07/2025: Delicious pasta and excellent limoncello spritz. My wife had carbonara and I had pomarola. Best pasta I've had on my trip so far. A small confusion over the bill was corrected as soon as I pointed it out which I really appreciate. The manager spoke English and was helpful. Our 2 pasta dishes and 3 limoncellos came to €40.

27/07/2025: Una scoperta davvero fantastica questo ristorante con non troppi tavoli a Scarperia, borgo pieno di storia, con tanto scorci panoramici splendidi. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, un bel...110 e lode. Si vede che c'è una ottima mano in cucina, materie prime eccellenti, prezzo onesto, servizio curato e veloce, il proprietario molto simpatico ha fatto tante coccole alla nostra cagnolina Joy. Torneremo presto....per assaggiare tutto il resto....intanto....promossi a pieni voti le melanzane alla parmigiana, i tortelli pecorino e pere, il favoloso abbondante fritto misto carni e verdure, i dolci, e persino il caffè. 16/07/2025: Este fue uno de los favoritos durante nuestra semana en la región. El restaurante tiene un aspecto elegante y elegante, con mesas vestidas crujientes y personal de camarero bien preparado. El servicio era perfecto - muy amable y servicial, y la comida, fresca, sabrosa y bien presentada, su bruschetta, excepcional. Una agradable gama de vinos de calidad también. Y si necesitas recostar la cabeza, también tienen habitaciones.

30/07/2025: Excellent food and delicious pizzas, but unfortunately the experience was marred by excessively slow and chaotic service. We waited an hour between our first and second courses; many other tables were in even worse conditions. The atmosphere was pleasant but on the noisy side.

27/07/2025: A true Italian experience. There weren’t very many places open on a Sunday night when I arrived, so I went here As soon as I walked into the garden I was delighted. It was all Italian families, enjoying their children and each other. The food was perfect – maybe the best seafood fritti I have ever had, inexpensive Negronis and a delightful atmosphere. I will definitely go back.

29/07/2025: Great restaurant with friendly and smiling staff! Very nice atmosphere and attention to detail. The menu is updated about once a month - this is especially pleasing, because regular guests often come here. We tried croquettes and tuna tataki as starters - great appetizers with a bright taste. For the main course, we chose hot seafood and pasta with squid - everything was cooked perfectly and served beautifully. Desserts also did not disappoint - light, balanced and very tasty. The restaurant has two summer terraces, as well as a cozy hall inside. We managed to get in without a reservation on a weekday, which was a nice bonus. I definitely recommend this place! Ideal for both dinner with friends and a quiet evening for two.

16/07/2025: We were there last night... It's been a while since I've been there... Everything was truly delicious... The tuna appetizer was delicious, with tekyati sauce... The delicate fried food... The portions seem more generous than before... Good... Compliments to all the staff... Very kind... And professional... Well done, keep it up... The atmosphere is pleasant... Where you can still talk, without too much confusion... Thank you

24/08/2025: Good restaurant with a nice atmosphere and very kind, helpful staff. Valentino was the best waitress I’ve met so far—attentive, friendly, and professional. The steak was tender and delicious, and the wine recommended by the staff (I had no idea what to choose myself) turned out to be excellent. To top it off, we were offered a complimentary wine at the end, which was a really sweet gesture.

Una verdadera experiencia de la familia italiana. Gran precio y opciones saludables si quieres. Disfruta! Diseño interior fresco también.

07/09/2025: We searched for several pizzerias on Google Maps and chose this one; it was a great choice. From the first moment we arrived, the waiters were very friendly and treated us very well. We were craving pizza and got three; they were all delicious. I especially liked the Diavola, with spicy tomato and pepperoni. The restaurant is very close to the Doumo, and has a great location.

10/08/2025: We stopped by while touring Italy, and this place is a true gem! The cuisine is traditional and authentic, with handmade pasta, locally-sourced meat and self-produced fruits and vegetables. Every dish we tried was delicious (trust me, I was born in Florence!). Antonella gave us a warm and welcoming vibe. She was attentive and funny. The atmosphere has traditional charm and modern touches. If you’re looking for top-notch Tuscan cuisine and service, this is the spot. We can’t wait to return!

22/07/2025: We enjoyed our food at this restaurant. It was in the city of florence which can be reached by walking there or taking the bus. The restaurant has specially set up watersprays for this hot weather. That was so cooling and was the best part of the restaurant. If you want an italian restaurant with an cooling setting, then this is the right place. Go and enjoy 😉

I always recommend this place to everyone because they've never disappointed me. Be wary of any negative comments; I live an hour away from Florence and am here almost every day for work, and I can confirm that Ristorante Pizzeria Canto De' Nelli is the best you'll find in central Florence. I often eat at this restaurant for work. It's hands down the best restaurant I've found in Florence. The prices are more than fair, and the food and drinks are always top-quality. The service and cleanliness are impeccable. The people who work there are absolutely excellent, from the waiters to the chefs and the owners, always on duty and ready to welcome anyone who wants to stop for a refreshing break.
