16/11/2025: What a lovely place! The food was fantastic, 5 stars without a doubt! The service was friendly and helpful, if a little slow. But the setting... wow! The view of the lake is spectacular. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a party with friends. And if you need a place for your event, absolutely!

20/10/2025: I found myself in this place for an organized wedding, the staff were kind and helpful as bread, enchanting place, movie-like atmosphere, I highly recommend it to anyone, you made me spend one of the best evenings I've ever been out, compliments also to the chefs.

19/02/2026: Our little corner in Florence. Time stood still. There was no rush, and we were simply in the moment. This restaurant is a treasure. You come for the quality, not the quantity. You truly create memories here that will stay with you forever. I 100% recommend the Gnudi burro e Salvia and the Tortellini con Ripeno. Don't forget the tiramisu!

16/11/2025: Really good food. Typical Tuscan cuisine, and in autumn there are many variations of mushrooms and truffles, all of which are truly top-quality. The gnocchi and the various types of tagliata were delicious, and the pistachio dessert was also delicious. The place was very clean and well-kept. The staff was attentive and friendly.

24/11/2025: An incredible experience. We were recommended this restaurant by friends from Florence, and honestly, we were so lucky to discover it. Gerardo's attentiveness and friendly service, the quality of the fresh, expertly prepared ingredients, the quality and variety of the wines... We'll definitely be back.

12/11/2025: A small seafood restaurant in the heart of the San Niccolò neighborhood. Outdoor seating and a few indoor dining areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent raw seafood and baked fish. Extensive wine list. Average prices. I returned after a year and found the quality of the dishes to have improved. A place I'll return to often when I'm craving a good seafood dinner in a pleasant atmosphere.

18/10/2025: In mid-October, we stopped at this small, rural, yet very authentic restaurant for a snack while traveling. It was supposed to be just a quick bite, but they served the whole package, from appetizer to dessert. Delicious handmade pasta, and the bread was amazing! The wine and dessert were also highly recommended. Despite communication issues, the staff were always attentive and understanding. We'd love to come back!

04/11/2025: Had an excellent meal with a group. The service was superb with the manager being incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She made sure we were looked after while we were waiting for a late arrival. The food itself with superb, the arancini special antipasto and rabbit secondi were exceptional. All of the group agreed that this was the best restaurant we'd eaten at during our many visits to Certaldo.

10/03/2026: My husband and I were staying just around the corner at Palazzo Alfani, and they highly recommended Ristorante Accademia. Coming from Canada, it was great to get local recommendations, and it certainly lived up to the advance billing. The evening we went there was a large group dining as well, and we saw some great looking pizza heading there way from the wood fired oven, so we added that as an appetizer, along with the Mushroom Strudel. For mains, we had the Steak Florentine and Chicken Parmigiana. Pietro, our server, was very welcoming and engaging, and super helpful in selecting some of their specialties. Gianni, the owner, also stopped by to check on how we were doing. The food was wonderful, and everyone was very friendly. It felt like dining with family! Wish we had more time to go back for a pizza making class with Pietro, I'm sure it would be a blast. Something to look forward to for next time!

Thanks to Salvatore, who welcomed us warmly, and Manuela, who captivated our palates in the kitchen. 🤪 We ordered a menu with a first course, second course, and side dish, and we ate every dish with gusto. I would definitely return.
