A restaurant with a longstanding tradition of excellent quality in Florentine dining. A bright and welcoming atmosphere, divided into several rooms. A varied menu featuring meat and seafood dishes, top-quality ingredients, and a focus on local produce. A lovely wine list. Fairly priced. Il Guscio is one of those places that I must go to every time I come to the city. After living in Florence for 3 years, nothing feels like coming home as much as a filet mignon with Vin Santo reduction sauce crowned with liver paté. It’s elegant cuisine without being stuffy. Enjoy the perfectly made panna cotta served with fresh caramel and candied almonds… the seafood Cacio e Pepe is so delicious it will melt your face. Love this spot.

Pleasant atmosphere, quick and friendly service (they took a little while with the second course, but it was a risotto), tasty food, although not cheap (the artichoke salad wasn't very generous and raw artichokes don't have much flavor, the cheese was very good), glasses of wine around 6 euros (similar throughout the city). The pappardelle with rabbit was very good, as was the tuna tartare. Best panna cotta I've ever had. As in all of Florence, there's a cover charge.

This restaurant specializes in seafood, offering very high quality, original recipes, and excellent value for money at lunchtime. It's more expensive in the evening, but the quality remains excellent. The staff is very friendly.

My friend's favorite restaurant. The noodles are all quite delicious 😋 The tuna fillet is very special, and it's great with the pickled onions on the side.
