15/05/2025: Great place for sandwiches and pizza.

04/05/2025: There were 3 of us last Tuesday, we had appetizers, a pizza, then a sandwich, a dish with beef, chips etc. 2 bottles of sparkling wine, all good, large portions, we had a great time, we recommend it to everyone, then offered the limoncello, the owner was super friendly, we will be back

14/05/2025: Food and service were great. We got the cannelloni, wild boar pappardelle, florentine steak with spinach and potatoes and chicken cacciatore. The steak was really rare but I think that’s just how the Florentine steak is served.

03/05/2025: We didn’t have a reservation and they were fully booked out but because we got there at opening at 7pm the host gave us a table which wasn’t reserved until 8:45pm which was so nice and lots of time for us to eat our meal!! We ate right at the front of the restaurant which was a little too quiet. I think if we’d been more in the back the atmosphere would’ve been perfect. That being said it was beautiful and the gnocchi we had was incredible. The Florentine steak (even the portion for 1 was enough for 2) was good as well and the roasted potatoes were INSANE. I almost dropped to my knees they were so good. Overall a beautiful, more upscale place that I’d recommend to anyone - just book a reso!!

03/05/2025: A wonderful surprise to eat in this place that smells like an old tavern with the innkeeper, the legendary Duccio, who serves you with a glass in hand always ready to toast with you. Excellent red wine, excellent food which changes every week according to the season and excellent quality/price ratio. We had a great time and moreover we danced together with the Cantamaggio on May 1st who cheered us up with their traditional popular songs. Truly an unforgettable day! Thanks Duccio!

27/04/2025: Non pensate di esservi persi in mezzo al nulla …eccovi la sorpresa, ben arrivati da Santi Santina…che dire Duccio, ristoratore, intrattenitore, dj, ballerino, insomma un tutt’uno…persona straordinaria che ha la capacità di farti assaporare tutta la sua eccellente cucina accompagnata da un sorriso garantito.

15/05/2025: I had a sandwich with cutlet, tomatoes, fontina and mushroom sauce and it was delicious!! A stone's throw from Piazza Santacroce and the Duomo, for those who want there is a vast selection of typical products, such as lampredotto and boiled meat, both in a tray and sandwich. Highly recommended!

14/05/2025: Bombbbbbbb good food at night. Much better than the million kebab places around the area. I would highly suggest trying this place !

23/05/2025: Unfortunately, our experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. We had booked for a school trip and paid a deposit, but due to the train strike we were unable to reach the restaurant. Even though the situation was completely out of our control, the restaurant decided to withhold the deposit without showing any understanding or willingness to find a solution. To make matters worse, the staff was rude and not very open to dialogue, responding to our requests with little courtesy and total indifference to the difficulties we faced. Such an attitude is not only unprofessional, but denotes a total lack of respect towards customers. A real shame, because a minimum of flexibility and common sense would have made the difference. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for seriousness and attention to the customer.

11/05/2025: I had the tripe burger and a little spicy, but the tripe was better. It was perfect when eaten with cola. If you usually like beef tripe, you can eat it very deliciously.

10/05/2025: It was the best thing I ate in all of Italy, my true feelings. We ate expensive steak elsewhere, the smell and the meat was very bad.

30/01/2025: A super experience! We took a tour of the cellars, a wine tasting and an excellent cooking class with Eduardo (Eddie). The 14thC Castello is worth visiting even without the cooking class, a great way to spend an afternoon in Eduardo's capable hands. So good we are going back in a few months!

16/05/2025: This place was recommended to me because it served traditional food and because it wasn't one of the many restaurants overrun with tourists, so the prices weren't that high and the food quality was very good. They were absolutely right with their recommendation. They welcomed me with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and I ordered seafood pasta, which I thought was the best I'd eaten in Florence. The price was indeed lower than the restaurants in the more touristy area. It's well worth going out of the city center to eat there, because the service is also excellent.

13/05/2025: Delicious food, knowledgeable servers, pleasant team including the owner who stopped by to ensure all was well. Casual and away from touristy feel.

04/05/2025: Delicious food, super nice environment. It was quiet when we went and it was a comfortable environment to enjoy a meal. We had one of the tapas (the goat cheese crostini, which was amazing) and the pasta.

11/05/2025: We were very disappointed eating here. The evening before we had ester st the Trattoria Santa Lucia 50 metres away with which we were delighted with the food and service. At Golosi the waiter was unwelcoming and irritated that we chose items not available but notvtellingvusctill after we had ordered. The second time 10 minutes after we had ordered. Heceas however very welcoming smiley and pleasant to the tables of young women however! The food was average but nothing special which we had expected as it had Michelin awards shown on the door although 3 years out of date!!. Interesting the table with 4 young women who came in and only ordered 2 deserts between the 4 of them were offered complimentary digestivos unlike ourselves.
