18/05/2026: I had a cappuccino and a small dessert at the counter. There were also seats in the back, so it seemed like a good place to relax for a while. Despite being in the heart of the tourist area, it's a reasonably priced and delicious cafe that I highly recommend.

01/06/2026: Without a doubt, my favorite place in Florence. Every time I go, I feel so pampered, both by the good food and by Roberto and Monica's kindness. Going to lunch there always combines the pleasure of eating something rich, authentic, and healthy with the pleasure of being there, with them. It's also worth mentioning that I'm now addicted to the tuna sandwich. But I'd also say that, with the love they put into the food, the coffee, the desserts, the stuffed potatoes, the drinks... everything, really everything, is delicious. I don't want to make this too long, but in a city like Florence, where downtown neighborhoods sometimes don't feel like neighborhoods anymore, this café feels just like home. Every time I leave there, I leave with a big smile. Thank you Roberto and Monica ❤️

18/05/2026: We had a booked table, ended up with smokers as we like outdoors. Waiter rude and arrogant, plus severed all the primo Donna’s before us. So we ended up with food before our wine. Won’t be going back. So hard to find a proper family trattoria in Florence … yes we are a tourist but we know food and wine thank you !! Very bland food , risotto was okay. We would have returned for steak florentine, but no sorry .

31/05/2026: Arrived by chance, returned by choice! At Duccio's you feel at home, in every sense of the word. The atmosphere he creates with his kindness and attention to the customer makes you feel at home, as does the staff, who are always smiling and attentive. Chatting with other guests in the dining room is completely natural, a familiarity between strangers, pleasant, never annoying. Add to all this the quality of the home-made food, the attention to detail, and a good glass of wine, and it's impossible not to return! The motto: Duccio, you do it... You can't go wrong 😊

24/05/2026: I have to say, one of the most successful restaurants in the new Florentine scene: very refined Tuscan food with a touch of unique flavors. I had the fillet steak and two side dishes with really good sauces. The owner is very friendly and on Fridays he also has live music, often played by himself, creating a great atmosphere. I'll be back. Well done. One small tip: the portions.

23/05/2026: I was looking for somewhere to eat, a person in the street recommended it, it wasn’t good, I’ve read the reviews and I found the food average to poor. My beef dish was drowning in oil, and some kind of beef sauce… :( I’m from Australia we know about food this was very disappointing. I had my suspicions when I asked them if they had had a salad how about a tomato ? No .. what… this is Italy no fresh tomatoes what are talking about ? The bread was stale. The other dish they recommended was spinach balls drowning in a butter and cheese sauce, I ate it as was hungry, please don’t go there if you love Italian food it was embarrassing.

06/06/2026: My parents and I got pizza and a calzone for lunch which were absolutely amazing! There were many Italian customers dining as well so we knew we came to the right spot.

It's a trattoria attached to the grocery store (cured meats, cheeses, and other local products), as is traditional in Tuscany, but with a certain refinement in the decor while still maintaining the look of an old-fashioned trattoria. We enjoyed the potato tortelli with ragù—the most flavorful I've ever had—the sliced ​​beef so tender it melted in your mouth, and the crispy, light fried zucchini flowers. The service was prompt, courteous, and professional; we'll definitely be back again.
