06/04/2026: Simply excellent lunch. Strong flavors and truly delicious dishes. The selection of breads and pastries, served hot and homemade, is truly exquisite. We tried the onion and cream puffs, pici cacio e pepe, and tagliata al chianti: everything was perfect. A very friendly host. Highly recommended!

31/03/2026: Visually, the place looked very authentic, but unfortunately, that's the only plus. Guests' preferences are irrelevant here. I asked for a Filetto al Brunello di Montalcino and specified that I wanted it well done. The waiter nodded and said it was perfect. But when the meat arrived, it was completely raw and rare inside, not even medium. I told the waiter that this wasn't the doneness I'd ordered, to which he responded with a "stunning" response: it was impossible to cook this steak well done. Why he hadn't told me this up front remains a mystery. He suggested I cut it into pieces and have it cooked that way. I agreed, happy that I'd finally get what I'd ordered, but disappointment awaited me here too. When they brought my dish again, the slices were cooked a bit more well done, right at medium. But still not well done. I didn't have the energy to argue anymore, and I was too hungry, so I ate them, but I'll be honest, I think this kind of service is disgusting. If a chef's morals, religion, or any other reason prevent him from preparing the meat the way a customer requests, they should at least warn them in advance (although I can't imagine why it's impossible to cook the meat properly; that's the bare minimum). I was angry, my impressions were completely negative, and I didn't enjoy the food at all.

27/10/2025: This place is truly wonderful, I was there for lunch and I was happy and satisfied with every aspect, the view is spectacular, the food was delicious 10/10 I complimented the chef, my partner tried the suckling pig and was really impressed he said he had never eaten it so good before, I had the beef fillet with truffle, the quality was excellent, I also appreciated the service, they were very kind and fast, I highly recommend this place it does not disappoint expectations.... we will definitely be back!!!!!!

04/11/2025: Had an excellent meal with a group. The service was superb with the manager being incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She made sure we were looked after while we were waiting for a late arrival. The food itself with superb, the arancini special antipasto and rabbit secondi were exceptional. All of the group agreed that this was the best restaurant we'd eaten at during our many visits to Certaldo.

08/04/2026: A fantastic place with really delicious food and nice and friendly staff! The Florentine steak was a masterpiece! Wine recommendation was great! An absolute must visit! Better to reserve a table in advance - it's really easy by email and they answer very quickly. If I'm ever back in Florence, I will defeintely go there again!

16/04/2026: We stayed at La Collina as a couple in August 2025, and it was a truly wonderful and relaxing vacation. We often think back to our holiday there, which was characterized by a perfect balance of relaxation and activities. We stumbled upon the accommodation quite spontaneously, and on the day of our arrival, our hosts, Patricia and Toni, gave us a warm welcome. We immediately felt completely at ease. Our room, "Siena," was cozy, clean, and modern. The towels were also plush and smelled lovely. The view from the room was breathtaking. You can tell that a lot of care and attention has gone into the grounds. Everything was very clean and modern. The pool is large, and the view is magnificent. The loungers are perfect for relaxing. If you get hungry or thirsty, you can buy something in the self-service area (ice cream, yogurt, drinks, etc.). There's also an outdoor sofa with a table where you can chill out. Outside, there's a breakfast area on a terrace where you can enjoy the view while having a delicious breakfast. Breakfast consists of a small buffet inside (muesli, cheeses from local dairies, cold cuts, yogurt, etc.). Every morning, Toni buys filled croissants of your choice from the local bakery (Nutella, pistachio, etc.). Eggs are cooked fresh to order. We often chatted with Patricia at breakfast and got tips for excursions and restaurants. There's a fantastic restaurant almost next door to La Collina, which we highly recommend. One evening, the full moon rose over Tuscany, and Toni even got out a telescope for us so we could watch it. That was a beautiful moment. At La Collina, we also met other lovely people, as it's thankfully a smaller, more intimate place. Dear Patricia and Toni, we had a wonderful holiday with you, one we'll cherish, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

10/04/2026: We ate at this osteria on the evening of April 4, 2026. The interior is very charming, and the outdoor tables (where we ate) are set along the village street, very charming. Traditional food served on pans. We discovered the "coccoli" and felt truly pampered by the staff. Highly recommended. Perfect value for money.

08/04/2026: The food was amazing, especially the “I Pici All’ aglione” (best pasta we’ve ever eaten!). The prices were good, approx 10-11 for the pasta we ordered. The staff was kind and welcoming. Only problem was that there was a cover charge even though no bread was served (2€ per person). But overall great experience!
