30/01/2026: We ordered pizza and salad, both very bad. The menu outside didn't match what was inside. The waiter saved the day; he was very attentive. The food was awful, but that was our fault for ordering pizza here.

24/01/2026: Very good grilled meat, top-notch Argentinean red wine, I'd say. It's a small, charming place in the heart of Florence. The service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. There's a party atmosphere and music, and after dinner you can even have a drink, just like in a pub. It's lovely, I'll be back.

The setting is well-maintained and the service is attentive; the host loves to entertain diners with stories about his dishes. The wine selection is impressive; not overwhelming, but carefully selected and carefully chosen, with only high-quality selections.

02/12/2025: Excellent quality gelato. The flavor is exceptional, the best I've ever had. Flavors vary seasonally. Very welcoming and courteous staff. Unfortunately, there aren't any tables inside—there wouldn't be enough space—but on a bitterly cold day, we were welcome to eat gelato standing inside.

15/03/2026: I stumbled upon it almost by chance. I ate very well. True Florentine flavors. I had the francescisa dish, with a strong, bold flavor. The meatball dish was delicate, accompanied by excellent glasses of viso rosso. Highly recommended. They don't offer table service. Try it, but you order, pay, leave your name, and then sit down. Once your food is ready, they call you to the balcony to collect it. Must try!

03/02/2026: Excellent place. Refined Tuscan cuisine, super friendly staff (Myriam, Donna Barbara)... stop by this great restaurant, you'll be charmed.

04/01/2026: Excellent meat-based dinner. Friendly and attentive staff. The only downside is the room's slightly low temperature and walls with obvious rising damp, which isn't very attractive.

16/03/2026: We've been several times for Easter and Christmas. Everything was excellent: the atmosphere, food, and service. We'll be back for my brother's 50th birthday.

13/02/2026: A real gem, my French friends! A superb Italian restaurant with a refined, romantic, and convivial atmosphere! You immediately feel at ease. The service is impeccable. The homemade fresh pasta is delicious. And the desserts are a true delight, the perfect way to end the meal. Plus, there's a magnificent view, and at the end of the day you can admire the sunset! I come back to this restaurant every year.

12/03/2026: Our friends arrived separately from us and were recommended Yellow Door by their tassista for our large group of four adults and three children. He called and made a reservation on our behalf with the manager, Simon, who promptly set us up with a table within an hour of making the reservation. The entire staff was friendly and took incredible care of us. However, special thanks goes to our server, Guiditta, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient with our group of two families. She made great recommendations and we left feeling taken care of and appreciative of her attention to our table—as well as genuinely enjoying our conversation with her beyond her service. Florence always gets it right on the hospitality front, but I can’t imagine a better experience for a larger party and last-minute reservation. Well exceeded any expectations. Well done, Yellow Bar. We look forward to our return!

21/12/2025: A very welcoming and family-friendly restaurant. The owner is truly friendly and approachable, making you feel right at home. We ate divinely, from appetizer to dessert, with top-quality ingredients. You absolutely must try the crostini, the Sangiovannese stew, and the ossobuco, cooked just like grandma used to make them. Everything was truly divine. If you're passing through Arezzo, stopping here is a must: try it and believe it!

12/03/2026: The best ice cream of my life! The flavor is natural, very intense, and rich. Plus, it's great that there's seating both inside and outside. The prices are really reasonable.

22/02/2026: We've been customers of Cecconi's ice cream shop for years. There's no doubt the ice cream is very good, but the staff, a little less so. This afternoon we ordered a kilo of ice cream to go, and in addition to the lack of professionalism and rudeness when we asked the girl about the flavors, we weren't given the ice cream cones, nor were we asked if we wanted to sign up for a loyalty card offered to customers before us by the other employee. Furthermore, her attitude was truly arrogant; I think she even threw the lid off one of the flavors to show us how annoying the service was. A ice cream shop is a place of pleasure and indulgence, not a place that should put you in a bad mood. I don't think I'll be back.

10/11/2025: A cozy and modern place. The peposo was excellent, as was the lasagna, and the tiramisu was very good. Excellent service.

09/11/2025: The restaurant is ok, the food is good and the ambient is also good. Nevertheless, it does not worth the 4.8 starts. It’s just too expensive for the quality of the food

21/02/2026: This is an exceptional restaurant! By far, the best dinner we had during our 2 week Italy road trip. Intimate, friendly restaurant with phenomenal food. Husband and wife team - charming Julia, front of house and friendly chef Gabriel was a winning partnership. The fusion cooking, Italian with Asian influence and heavy seafood bias was very welcome in meat heavy Tuscany! The scallops starter was outstanding - beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Pasta with cuttlefish was simply divine and the sea bass main course was delicious. We really appreciated Julia's wine recommendations, as a sommelier she listened to our preferences and found us a perfect Chianti and gorgeous rosé. This was our favourite dinner in Italy and exceptional value too! Thank you both, we will be back!

21/01/2026: The best restaurant in Lucca, hands down. A classy welcome, they greet you with focaccia and their own olive oil, a culinary journey that perfectly reflects the chef's journey through Asia. At the end of each course, the super-kind waitress asked how we were doing and how we liked the dishes. Speechless. The restaurant is small and very welcoming, with an elegant yet friendly atmosphere. At the end of the evening, the chef came into the dining room, and I couldn't help but congratulate him and ask for the fish soup. SPECTACULAR, PLEASE TRY IT. The price is worth it, and in fact... the only time I think I could say that, I would have paid even more and not complained. I will definitely be back.
