18/03/2026: I went for dinner at the beginning of the week out of season so there were plenty of free seats, a modest wine list and a truly superb quality of dishes

The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The dinner was fantastic, with sublime flavors. Excellent value for money. 20/03/2026: Recommended to us by staff at a local winery, we first appreciated the approach, which is summed up in the menu's introduction (see photo). Everything was good, with the artichoke steamed in apple cider vinegar being exceptional (according to those who ate it). We appreciated the value for money. Recommended.

18/01/2026: Restaurant review: We had dinner here, in this private room upstairs. I have to say, it was very nice and perfect, considering we're quite chaotic people. I've eaten at this restaurant before, and I have to say, it never disappoints. Excellent service and food. Friendly staff! Fair price! I'll be back again. I've already recommended it to people I know! It deserves a mention!

03/08/2025: Booked 2 nights at Relais Le Macine di Stigliano with very short notice. It is only 20 minutes drive away from Siena, in a pretty and quiet location. The rooms are nicely renovated, spacious and quiet. The pool area is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good and varied (not always the case with Italian places). Staff was great, was super helpful when asking for tips and recommendations about restaurants and what to see. Very recommended!

12/03/2026: I enjoyed my food, and the service was good. The management isn't what I was used to. The place is more touristy than I was used to. I see it in the customers, the prices, and the portion sizes.

10/03/2026: On Sunday evening, in the company of a friend, I happened upon this delightful trattoria, located in one of those alleys near Piazza della Sognoria. The welcome was top-notch; it felt like home, in a simple and refined setting that immediately puts you at ease. The service was the same: attentive and friendly, despite the informal atmosphere. The menu is authentic and local, far removed from the touristy offerings that are now proliferating everywhere. I tried the lampredotto-filled ravioli creamed in a mouth-watering salsa verde. For true lovers of Tuscan cuisine, especially Florentine, this reinterpretation was surprising and exceptional. I will definitely return, perhaps to try the lasagna with game ragù or one of their appetizers with Tuscan cured meats and cheeses. I recommend it to everyone. Laura

20/03/2026: The owner is very kind, the potato tortelli are really good, and you can find everything you need. If you want to try something unique and delicious, Berti is the place for you. I highly recommend it.

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.
