05/06/2025: I stopped in this shop 6 years ago while visiting San Giminano, and decided to stop in again today. The wine tastings were great, and the sheep's cheese was superb. Sarah was so polite and personable. We enjoyed the chat while we sampled some wines. Will come back again!

04/06/2025: In questo ristorante o trattoria o come volete chiamarla non importa, ciò che conta è che si mangia ancora con i sapori di una volta...quelli veri, quelli genuini fatti con materie prima di qualità e soprattutto con la voglia di fare bene! La cucina toscana tipica, quella vera e senza compromessi, non sono solito fare sviolinate del genere ma è la verità.. ho mangiato le pappardelle con il sugo di cinghiale che erano fantastiche ,mia moglie i Tortelli al ragù, antipasti di qualità e dolci fatti in casa, la prossima volta proveremo i secondi! Ottimo il vino. Bravo Fabrizio e moglie!

02/06/2025: Friendly and helpful staff. The owner is a great host. He makes you feel right at home while you enjoy the Tuscan delicacies. The homemade tiramisu is sublime!! A place surrounded by greenery in total calm just a stone's throw from Roccastrada. If you pass by their area, a stop is a must! Keep it up!!!

14/06/2025: An authentic Florentine experience: not to be missed! We went to Osteria dell’Oca and we left enthusiastically! The appetizer started with a bang: off-menu zucchini flowers, fried to perfection with a light and crunchy batter, simply delicious. Next, the pici cacio e pepe: creamy, tasty, perfectly cooked. For the second course we couldn’t help but try the tagliata: very tender, cooked to perfection, with a strong but balanced flavor. The real star, however, was the prisoner’s dish — lampredotto, boiled tripe and tongue — a truly mystical experience for the palate. Authentic and intense flavors, a dive into the most genuine Florentine tradition. All accompanied by two excellent glasses of Chianti that enhanced each course. A special applause goes to the manager: a true host from another era, welcoming, warm, who makes you feel at home from the first moment. Really exceptional quality/price ratio. A place where you eat well, feel good and come back willingly.

14/06/2025: Dear tourists and Florentines, who surely get ripped off by the various pastry shops in Florence, I would like to point out that here, in addition to everything being delicious and having a Staff with a capital P, a detail that is absolutely not negligible, it is perhaps one of the few, if not the only one, to have more than honest prices. Here, coffee costs 1 euro and on pastries and savory items you can save a lot. Highly recommended.

14/06/2025: Absolutely love this place. The staff are wonderful, the food is delicious - truly can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. Pizza, panini, aperol spritz, wine, espresso! We came back every day of our trip. Do not miss this! Try the diavola pizza and the panini De. But seriously just try everything. Our favorite place.

31/05/2025: I went after reading the reviews and it was a total success. The combination of sweet dessert and soft milk foam cappuccino was great and the staff were all very friendly.

26/05/2025: We chose there quite by chance and at first glance we were charmed by the decoration, interior and atmosphere. You can feel like in a good, nice Italian movie. There is no ubiquitous plastic on the walls and ceiling, everything is tastefully decorated. The cheerful, friendly and fast hostess and her lovely waitress fulfilled our order within a few minutes. The cappuccino was delicious and the sweets were amazing! We couldn't resist and ordered two portions each. By the way, we were also pleased with the prices. I highly, highly recommend!..

22/05/2025: I leave 5 well-deserved stars. Delicious food and abundant portions; friendly and kind staff. Very careful plating. Very fair quality-price ratio. There were 5 of us, 2 appetizers to share, 5 first courses, 3 second courses, 4 desserts and 4 bottles of water, for a total of €40 per person. Excellent quality food!! We will definitely return in the height of summer to also enjoy the outdoor venue as it is very suggestive and colorful.

21/06/2025: Together with my girlfriend (Regina), I am traveling in Tuscany and we are staying at different locations. We were looking for a nice, cozy location to go out for dinner, and we certainly succeeded! On Friday evening we arrived without a reservation, that was no problem. Alessio arranged it! In addition to his good service, his other colleagues (whose names I unfortunately do not know), were also very helpful and did everything they could to ensure that you had a nice dinner. The food was served promptly, was very tasty, and the price was very reasonable. Very cozy terrace outside, among the locals with a few tourists. There was also live music with guitar and singing. We were so enthusiastic that we came back on Saturday, and were then also recognized by the staff. Really recommended!

15/06/2025: Allesamt super freundlich und die Bedienung spricht gut englisch. Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Das Restaurant ist super besucht und mutet als Mittelpunkt der Stadt an, an dem sich anscheinend jeder am Abend trifft. Absolute Empfehlung.

15/06/2025: Very flavorful vegetarian cuisine. Their "piatto unico" option lets you try a salad, rice/pasta, and specialty dish all at once--for a very affordable price. My husband and I enjoyed this place so much the first time that we went back again, so we tried 12 dishes between the two of us. Everything was absolutely delicious. Very highly recommend if you are looking for a great and filling vegetarian meal in Florence.
