20/09/2025: Excellent food at Da Piero! The tuna tartare appetizer was fresh and delicious, and the grilled octopus was perfectly prepared. The crowning glory: a tiramisu that was probably the best of my life. Top-notch service and excellent value for money – a clear 5 stars!

19/09/2025: We had a lovely dinner here. The food was excellent albeit a little retro in style (as we have found in a number of smarter restaurants on Elba - lots of purées / arty smears etc). Good wine list and lovely setting too - a really warm, welcoming room - beautifully lit and stylishly done. We were very well looked after by Sophie and all staff were friendly and efficient.

13/10/2025: I tried the lasagne bolognese, but unfortunately the center was ice cold. I wouldn’t recommend this dish - unless you prefer your pasta cold.

13/10/2025: It was delicious, but it's such a huge sandwich that one person can't possibly finish it. People at the cash register should be warned. But it's worth the price; we waited in line for so long. Because of the size of the sandwich, we couldn't try anything else; we ended up sleeping everywhere.

15/09/2025: Despite being close to the industrial area, the place looks nice. What's striking is the price, incredibly low! However, both the mixed antipasti and the tagliata are truly high-quality. I expected the homemade pasta to be a little better; the mushrooms were fresh, but the tagliatelle were a bit soft. Overall, I highly recommend it; we paid €25 each.

28/08/2025: We spent part of our vacation here. Beautiful, quiet place, excellent food, and the owners were so kind and friendly! Very clean and with a stunning view. We'll definitely be back!

09/10/2025: We visited this restaurant and can't say enough good things about it! The service was impeccable, thanks to our waiter Gigi, who was truly talented and incredibly kind. He guided us through our selection of dishes, offering expert and friendly advice. Every course was a discovery of flavors: everything was delicious, from appetizers to desserts. In particular, the mushrooms were exceptional, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Even the wine, selected on Gigi's recommendation, enhanced every dish. A culinary experience we'll definitely repeat. Thanks again to Gigi and all the staff for the wonderful welcome!

06/09/2025: I live in Florence but occasionally pop into Arezzo and stopped by this excellent gelateria. Probably the best gelato I've ever had, or at least one of the best. Selected ingredients, you can tell by the good information provided and taste it. I don't leave many reviews, but I deliberately sought this one because it truly speaks to excellence, in my opinion. It has nothing to do with the situation, but I'd like to advise the (owner?) not to respond harshly to negative reviews: there's no dispute about taste, and in your case, your quality alone is enough to justify any negative criticism. Try it and believe it.

29/09/2025: A modest exterior, but the kitchen is the shop window. Run by Laura and Lucia, who greeted me with a warm “prego”, it felt the right place to begin my first Florence meal in years. Tagliolini al tartufo was their unhesitating recommendation: pasta cut and cooked perfectly, the sauce buttery and fragrant with truffles – 9.5/10. Lampredotto followed: Florence’s tripe dish, born of cucina povera. Robust, slightly heavy on seasoning, but balanced by unsalted bread and a bright salsa verde. Authentic cooking with real heart.

25/09/2025: One of my favourites places to eat in Florence. The wine was great. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful.

05/10/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. Refined hospitality with a vin d'honneur to accompany the short wait. The chef and assistant chefs were extremely efficient and interchangeable, both in the open kitchen and at the grill. I can confirm that I ate the most delicious Florentine steak of my life. The dishes were presented with great care. The waiters were attentive, helpful, and friendly. The owners were very affable and refined. I will gladly return to try other dishes.

06/10/2025: I went with my husband. The food was excellent. The fish was top-quality. The service was wonderful, led by his father, who brings back the Smile. The atmosphere was clean, if a little old-fashioned. But the food is the real highlight!

06/10/2025: We happened upon this place from Google maps as it was one of the only places left open at 2pm for lunch and we are so glad we did! Food was excellent - we both had a seafood dish, one Poseidon pappardelle and one seafood risotto. Wine was reasonable and even though I only ordered a glass he left the rest of the bottle. Panna cotta for dessert was delicious and the waiter didn't even mind that I ordered a cappucino after lunch ;) Service was fantastic and as we watched other dishes coming out, they looked equally amazing! Would highly recommend :)

09/09/2025: I barely stepped inside the restaurant when the manager looked at me, and I felt like he was judging me by my appearance. It's worth noting that I didn't wear shorts or a T-shirt like other tourists in formal attire. But he refused me a table for one person, which he said was full. I went because the owner of La Giostra restaurant recommended the place to me for the food. But given the staff's terrible service, it's a good thing I didn't stay there.

20/09/2025: The hours on Google aren't up to date, and the place is closed. It gets a bit annoying after 250km.

13/09/2025: Excellent restaurant with exquisite food, presented and served with professionalism and kindness. One visit is definitely not enough; you have to return, and we will.

18/09/2025: Agriturismo? It's definitely more than that. It's nice to see how the grandparents take care of things and pass everything on to the next generation. The food is honest and very good! The scenery is simply stunning. The rooms may be a bit dark, but they are lovingly furnished and beautiful! There's nothing to complain about! Keep it up, Familia Belagaggio!🤗

The location is beautiful, the breakfast cakes are delicious, but what really impresses is the hospitality and customer service. Congratulations indeed! A special thanks goes to Angela, who was kind and helpful in recommending the tour best suited to our needs. Absolutely recommended!

23/08/2025: A beautiful osteria in the charming village of Montegemoli in the Volterra area. Outdoor seating under a covered wooden terrace, a rustic-style interior with trophies on the wall, reminiscent of hunting lodges. Excellent traditional Tuscan dishes, carefully and attentively presented, with excellent service and attentive service. The menu includes gluten-free options. Definitely recommended.
