08/03/2026: Found this on random and gave it a try. It was not bad at all but the value for money is not adequate in my opinion. The mix of appetizers was good but pretty average. I enjoyed the pigeon which I haven't had for years. The tiramisu once again just normal. The service guy was weird with no emotions. The meals are sure fancy but too pricy in comparison with what you can get nearby.

06/06/2026: First time at the new place, and I can only compliment both the location and the food. We need more places like this where even a celiac can feel normal. Well done!
An added bonus is the display of pastries and croissants: a gluten-free breakfast that's excellent, even the next day!
02/06/2026: The fried fish and tuna were top-notch, so much so that we returned two nights in a row. The wine selection was good and the prices were more than fair. The waiter, whose name we don't know but who was known as "Vale," was attentive and entertaining, always discreetly present... One of those employees to be reckoned with. Every city needs a "Ponteria" and every restaurant a "Vale."

09/06/2026: The pizzas by the slice are good, rich and tasty. The price is good, and the dough is expertly made with the right, crispy crusts.
Parking is a bit difficult, but it's easy to find. A few outdoor spaces make parking easier.
A delicious slice of mushroom pizza today was also worth 10.
04/06/2026: The cecina is next level. The quattro formaggi and classic margherita were also just perfect. If you like spicy, try the chili oil as well :) super fast, affordable quick lunch.

13/06/2026: We were in Viareggio for the June 2nd long weekend, and had the pleasure of dining at La Barchina, enjoying freshly fried fish. A highly recommended place.
12/06/2026: Quick and easy dinner along the Viareggio harbor. Really good fried food, crispy and not too greasy. The shrimp and calamari were superb, but the cod was even better!! The girls working there were kind and friendly, truly lovely.
Highly recommended!!

28/04/2026: Definitely worth mentioning in the Fuori Casello restaurants, as it's practically right next to the Lucca Ovest exit. What can I say other than to go for a lunch break, but if you can, make a reservation, as the place is small, as they say in those parts. The dishes chosen from the menu are excellent, with just the right proportions that don't weigh you down, especially if you then have to continue your journey. The only thing I'd say is that they should be more attentive to the service, as sometimes orders slip, or rather, they forget. From what I've seen, if they fix this too, they'll be great. They're already doing great!
23/04/2026: Simple atmosphere, good food, and generous courtesy. Notice the care they took to prepare a simple salad! I was lucky, because even though I hadn't booked, they sat me down. I returned for lunch, with the fixed-price menu, but everything was already booked.

A place far from home that makes me feel at home! I thank Lucio, Bruno, and all the fantastic staff for their uninhibited welcome. A hug to everyone, and always.

04/04/2026: Average quality. Service could be improved, as we were in a separate room from the main one. The owner was very friendly and willing to accommodate our changes. Typical restaurant with healthy Tuscan cuisine. The minced liver was a no-no.

06/06/2026: An impromptu stop in Aulla and a truly pleasant discovery!
Locanda Magno won us over right away: a welcoming place, a family atmosphere, and incredibly kind staff. My little boy was fascinated by the Panigacci.
Everything we ordered was delicious! You could sense their passion for cooking and their attention to their customers.
Kudos to all the staff; we'll definitely be back when we're in the area again! ☺️
28/05/2026: Excellent quality of products, both meat (salami, Parma ham, bacon) and vegetarian (grilled and marinated zucchini and aubergine, homemade pesto, cheese), panigacci straight from the oven, and interestingly, good Bavarian beer (Ayinger) - I would recommend it anytime!

19/05/2026: This restaurant is a must if you are traveling to Firenze!
They have a wonderful decor, heritage building and the dishes are succulent.
You will find various traditional dishes and their primi are to die for.
Especially the poached egg and the carpaccio.
The Angus is very well cooked and they have great sides.
Their crème brûlée was the best I have ever had in Italy.
The atmosphere is pleasant and great for a friendly dinner.
I highly recommend Cucina Torcicoda.

If you are in Pisa, please go and visit this restaurant! You will not be disappointed and it's one of our favorite restaurants in all our travels! Whenever we are even remotely close to Pisa we have to visit this gem of a seafood restaurant. 🥰
