The food was good and we got great wine with it (their house wine is specially made for this restaurant). But the most amazing part of the night was the people that run the place! They make this amazing Mirto liquor variation themselves. Make sure to try it!

We discovered this restaurant by chance. It was a pleasant surprise! They were kind enough to accommodate us late.
The waiter was attentive, and we really appreciated the opportunity to speak French.
The atmosphere is lovely, and the food is excellent.

A cornerstone of the Cavallino and surrounding gastronomy scene. I didn't know it, but an uncle who's a regular customer took us there. The place is very beautiful inside, a little crowded with furnishings, but very much in keeping with the food offerings. Lots of tradition, but not the kind sold to tourists as tradition, the true Salento tradition. I obviously had the ncannulati with strong ricotta cheese, a truly powerful aroma, but pleasant on the palate. Don't be put off, I recommend trying it. Everything else was top-notch, from the appetizers to the service. If you're near Lecce, this is a must-try.
