The Locanda de Levante is undoubtedly the top in Salento. The novelty of dry-aged fish is an experience that I hope you can share. The attentive dining room staff is professional. Perfect for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends. Upon arrival, we were greeted with great courtesy by both the staff and the owner, who accompanied us to our table and offered us a delicious welcome taste. The dishes are taken care of down to the smallest detail, and you can perceive the professionalism of the chefs in every course. The quality of the food is excellent, with a selection that ranges from meat and fish dishes, including dishes based on dry-aged fish, a true rarity that demonstrates the care taken in preparation. Furthermore, the wine cellar offers a good choice, perfect to accompany each dish. The prices are very affordable, which makes the restaurant even more interesting. The staff is trained and always attentive to customer needs. Ultimately, it was a wonderful experience that I will certainly repeat. Highly recommended!

05/02/2025: Ogni qualvolta chiamo per ordinare una torta o altro, al telefono non risponde MAI nessuno. Dopo vari tentativi, in diversi giorni e orari, finalmente risponde qualcuno. Ho chiesto in mattinata una torta per la sera, mi è stato detto NO, secco! Senza un minimo di savoir faire!!! CAMBIATE LAVORO SE NON VI PIACE QUELLO CHE FATE. Bisogna soddisfare le richieste del cliente, e non fargli un favore. Avete perso un bel po’ di clienti, non solo la sottoscritta!

03/12/2024: Excellent pastry and ice cream shop. Also delicious tea biscuits and artisan chocolates. Try the quince jelly, copeta and dried figs. Super cream puffs and cakes. The rotisserie and fried foods are also good. Great for birthday catering. Friendly staff

The only flaw... a water infiltration into the bathroom... it felt like being out in the rain... a real shame but above all unacceptable for such a structure...

30/03/2025: Sunday lunch, two people. We decided to eat at Masseria Gentile that we already knew, the wait to request the first course was not exactly fast indeed.... After we ordered we waited a long time to have the first course and just as long to receive the second The food was good but nothing exceptional Pasta portions were skimpy compared to the habits of the area. Service to be improved a lot a lot a lot I would say that if I were to return I would think about it.

29/03/2025: Frequento la zona da un po' di anni e ho visitato parecchi ristoranti e devo dire che questo ha soddisfatto pienamente le mie aspettative Cameriere molto professionale e gentile. Cibo ottimo a cominciare dai deliziosi bocconcini di pane pizza, abbiamo poi preso dei frittini decisamente superiori a quelli provati in altri ristoranti della zona e un antipasto solo terra anch'esso molto buono Abbiamo continuato con dell'arrosto misto ed anche qui devo sottolineare la qualità decisamente migliore di quanto provato altrove Da non trascurare l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo Insomma questo ristorante mi ha riconciliato con la cucina dei ristoranti locali Lo consiglio sicuramente

11/02/2025: I go to the Marè restaurant 2 or 3 times a year in July/August. The dishes are good and plentiful and I am very surprised by the negative reviews. If the restaurant is always full, it means the food is good there. The service is fast and the servers are friendly.

06/01/2025: Posto accogliente, personale cordiale, cibo ottimo e particolare con materie prime buone, trasformate bene e con fantasia il tutto condito da tanta umiltà e voglia di fare. Si percepisce l'attenzione e l'amore per ciò che fanno. Unico appunto: probabilmente hanno una cucina un po' piccola ma soprattutto, preparando quasi tutto al momento, a volte i piatti non arrivano insieme al tavolo ma il ritardo non è tale da "inficiare" la convivialità della tavolata tanto è vero che, nonostante ciò, ho dato 5 stelle. Promosso a pieni voti e consigliatissimo.

07/01/2025: We had dinner in this restaurant after visiting the beautiful village of Acaya, a welcoming environment with a fireplace which on a January evening, even if not very cold, warms the body and mind, we ate a good seafood salad and octopus in pignata , exquisite, a first course with aubergines and sausage, the second course horse meat that melted in the mouth and some fried foods including the typical Salento breasts, all washed down with a good Susumaniello

03/12/2024: Ci vado spesso : cibo sempre molto buono, veloce il servizio, Acaya splendida. D’estate ai tavoli fuori o d’inverno con il caminetto acceso l’atmosfera è sempre assicurata . E’ il mio preferito !
