The best gluten-free pasticciotto I've ever eaten!
The pastry shop is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the workroom is open to the public.
And many gluten-free products.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
07/09/2025: We purposely went to this pastry shop to try their pasticciotti, and I must say we weren't disappointed! They were delicious. The staff was incredibly kind, even though they were closing, and they served us. Highly recommended!

Impeccable organization, a sweet owner who was attentive to our requests, and kind and knowledgeable staff! And the menu? Well! Fantastic! Generous and excellent! For us, Il Pozzino is home! We and our guests were thrilled!
26/08/2025: Lunch for a 50th wedding anniversary. Excellent service, timely delivery, and a generous selection of dishes. A pre-arranged menu was available, with the option of repeating the menu starting with the appetizer: a thoughtful touch from days gone by. The outdoor spaces (gardens with pool) were vast and meticulously maintained, a favorite with adults and children alike!

28/07/2025: Terrible place to eat. The owner is truly arrogant and presumptuous. He mocks customers and says untrue things. The food was truly awful and the price was high. I ordered bombette and he brought me a stewed meat that was spicy and extremely salty, practically inedible. I strongly advise against it.
25/07/2025: This year we decided to spend a week in this area for our summer vacation, and since we'd never been before, we chose this place randomly. It looked good on websites and was close to, but not in, the center of Gallipoli. It was an excellent choice: clean and comfortable rooms, excellent service, excellent breakfast, and a clean, air-conditioned property with a large, secure indoor parking lot. Most importantly, it's located in a quiet area where you can sleep soundly. A 5-minute drive will take you to the center of Gallipoli and the area's best beaches. It has an on-site restaurant where you can dine. I highly recommend it and thank the owners for their hospitality.

I liked the product: excellent materials/quality. The only negative is the quantity, which I expected to be a bit more. Everything else was great! The service was excellent, and the waiter was helpful and friendly!

22/09/2025: I was alone and ordered a platter even though it was recommended for two, and the waiter rightly warned me. I ordered it anyway, especially since that was all we were eating.
It was excellent, although I'd recommend bringing bread instead of waiting for customers to ask for it. In any case, bread isn't the friselle that make crostini, although they were still good. Above all, I'd add at least two more types of cheese, since the menu offered a selection of cured meats and cheeses, but there was only mozzarella or stracciatella. I'd perhaps remove the mortadella, which I think has nothing to do with Salento. All in all, I enjoyed everything for just €12 for the platter.

08/12/2025: Finally, after two years of speaking about it we were able to go to Mille e una Notte. Everything was delicious. We obviously took a mix of mezze for starters and I was already full by the end of that part. But the main courses were worth trying, even though I was not able to finish the whole plate. I personally did not need half a plate of potatoes, but they were appreciated by the rest of our group. Nothing is left behind.
The only thing I would love to have is a glass of their wines but unfortunately the wine is only served by bottle.
Second time at the restaurant after 5 years on 6/11/25
I am glad that we had the chance to go back. And this time we also tried the Lebanese wine. All still delicious.

27/09/2025: A small restaurant just off the main nightlife hub, in the Convitto Palmieri area. The fried calzones are very large and delicious. The wait is reasonable, considering they're fried fresh. In addition to the classic calzone, you can also choose from a variety of fillings and dough. There are tables outside, without service, for a bite to eat and a drink. Prices are higher, but justified by the size, than the traditional calzone found everywhere else.

21/10/2025: I can describe dinner at La Tipografia as a true "taste immersion" that I would recommend to everyone.
On another occasion, I also tried the cocktails prepared by the bartender, who was always attentive to the guests' tastes.
