21/04/2026: We went to this restaurant for a special occasion—my birthday, a gift from my girlfriend—and chose the tasting menu, especially given the decidedly high price point. Overall, the food was good: carefully prepared dishes and generally pleasant flavors. The appetizer, however, was rather bland, and in my opinion, the menu was unbalanced, with three desserts out of eight courses: I would have preferred a few more savory options. The real problem was the lobster. My girlfriend tasted it and immediately left it: it was mushy and had an unconvincing flavor. I, thinking it was a special preparation, ate it. The next day I felt ill, and it wasn't an isolated incident: I'm on day three and still not feeling well. After consulting a doctor and ruling out other causes, food poisoning emerged as a highly likely possibility (my girlfriend, who didn't eat it, is fine). Also because, in hindsight, the taste wasn't at all typical of a fresh product. I'm not writing this review to "throw mud," but because when it comes to restaurants—especially those of a certain level—the quality of the ingredients is crucial. And, frankly, for what you pay, an experience like this is even more painful.

04/01/2026: We had a very good lunch: paccheri with lobster, fried fish, mixed fried fish, and linguine with squid ink. I recommend booking and getting a table in the corner, so you have a beautiful view of the sea. 🌊 The staff was very friendly and happy, even though the place was full. In the summer, with the veranda open, I imagine it would be spectacular (we were there in January). Compliments to all the staff. 👍

31/12/2025: We arrived at this restaurant after a fantastic winter hike in the "palude de capitane," attracted by its strategic location directly on the beach. The location is indeed beautiful, and the dining room is completely glassed-in, offering a pleasant and relaxing view. The staff is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations, perhaps because it's out of season. The shrimp rice was overcooked, and the octopus alla piñata seemed reheated. Wine by the glass wasn't available, but that, too, may be because it's out of season. The price was reasonable. Perhaps we could try again in a more favorable season...

04/01/2026: We found it by chance, passing through Maglie, and were lucky enough to stumble upon this excellent restaurant. Here you'll find old-fashioned cuisine, everything excellent, and a welcoming place, you'll feel right at home. We'll definitely be back!!! Congratulations!!! Roberta and family

23/11/2025: The main courses took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti aglio, oleo e peperoncino, and the main courses were especially delicious. However, the mixed fried appetizer was disappointing. The only good thing about it was the fries. But as I said, the pasta was very good. It seems like a casual eatery or a roadside bar, one of those places with a set menu in Spain. They had a lot of variety, and it seemed like the same people frequented it, like a trusted local spot.

26/04/2026: Despite the huge crowd (and there must be a reason), we didn't have to wait long to be served. Everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back!

22/10/2025: Excellent choice in San Cesario de Lecce. We ordered some fries and the burrata, mortadella, and pistachio pizza, and it was a delicacy. Very attentive and friendly. We ate there; there are two small tables outside. Many people came to place their orders. We would eat here again.

27/09/2025: A wonderful little place in a small Italian town! We had dinner here several times and tried different pizzas each time – one with traditional dough and one gluten-free. Both were amazing, and the gluten-free pizza was by far the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The staff were incredibly kind, we always got a table on the patio, and the owner was genuinely delighted to welcome visitors from Poland. Each time we were treated to limoncello and grappa, which made us feel truly special. Nowhere else in Italy have we experienced such warm hospitality. Highly recommended – and if we return to Puglia, we’ll definitely come back!

07/05/2026: I was a guest of friends for a party. The place was stunning, like a fairytale. We were greeted by a very kind and smiling gentleman. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Maître d' Luca guided us throughout the meal with professionalism, anticipating our needs in some situations, and entertained us with friendly and respectful banter. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back.

05/05/2026: I celebrated my graduation at Agriturismo Paradiso, and it was an unforgettable evening. The location is beautiful and well-maintained, with particular attention to cleanliness. The food is excellent, and the special dishes are truly delicious. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to accommodate any needs. The staff was also very kind and attentive. We had a great time and it was truly a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
