We were invited to a communion party and, intrigued by the proximity to our home, we went to try it before the event. The lady welcomed us very kindly and seated us. The waitress immediately came over to ask for drinks and took our order. What can I say? We had prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella, three first courses, and three desserts. Everything was delicious and homemade. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was family-friendly.

The place is very nice, although with the outdoor tables, you definitely need to buy a lot of coffee. The food is delicious: we had an exceptional eggplant parmigiana and an excellent calzone. Even the fried foods were well cooked and crispy. The only downside is the macchiato coffee 😜 if it's hot... you need foam, otherwise it's a mini latte macchiato.

It's a shame I can't give 10 stars! I went to this inn for lunch at my daughter's recommendation after seeing some reels on social media. My suspicions melted away as soon as I stepped foot in the dining room. You're immediately greeted warmly by the owner and her daughter. She knows how to pamper a guest, as well as being incredibly kind and friendly. Everything I tasted was simply EXCELLENT, even the "special" treats the owner keeps in reserve to soothe her guests' palates. A very charming inn with old-fashioned ovens inside, where bread with an overwhelming flavor comes out, ample outdoor space, and parking adjacent to the entrance.

10/06/2026: Taverna Lino was a wonderful find during our stay in Rome. Conveniently located just around the corner from the Vatican Museum and close to our hotel, it was the perfect spot for a relaxed light dinner after a day of sightseeing. We enjoyed a delicious Pizza Napoli, a fresh and light salad, and a couple of Aperol Spritzes to round off the meal. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. What impressed us most was the excellent service. The waiters were professional, courteous, and attentive throughout the evening, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely return for another meal. We can wholeheartedly recommend Taverna Lino to anyone looking for good food, friendly service, and a pleasant dining experience near the Vatican Museum.

12/06/2026: A sensational experience! If you're looking for the perfect balance between tradition and quality, this is the place. I tried a sandwich with artisanal porchetta (hot, flavorful, and with a sublime crust) and the ever-present buffalo mozzarella. Fast service, excellent ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable meal. I'll definitely be back!
11/04/2026: Ordered takeout: Everything was delicious! Two crispy sandwiches and a large fries with a bottle of Coke. Everything arrived hot, the bread and meat were excellent! Fair prices! We'll go there in person next time! Finally, a decent fast food joint!
