Very fast service, quality food

I divide my time between Rome, New York, London, and Milan, so I am familiar with good restaurants, understand a menu, and know exactly how much I want to order. For that reason, I am not convinced it is always wise to let the owner choose for you. Like any clever Roman restaurateur, he may be tempted to serve—and charge you for—more food than you actually need. I have eaten there several times and have generally had very good experiences. The only disappointing occasion was when the otherwise charming owner took control of the ordering and filled the table with far too much food. At that point, it became difficult to tell whether we were being treated as valued customers interested in tasting the cuisine or simply as tourists who could be oversold. That said, the quality of the fish is outstanding. In my opinion, there are probably only two restaurants in all of Rome that are comparable or better.

I had dinner last night, a Saturday in July, at this seafood restaurant that I had often heard about as a guarantee for those who love fresh ingredients and quality. Luckily, I paid attention to these rumors and I can say that they are true as I ate divinely! First of all, it must be said, however, that both my husband and I were struck by the kindness of both the staff and those who I believe are the owners, they made us feel at home and pampered as if we were regulars. We spoke to a gentleman about the order who accommodated our requests and replaced what was not available that evening. The fried cuttlefish and courgettes were made perfectly, not greasy, crunchy, clear, with a very fresh flavor; the raw prawns were nothing short of amazing, as was the julienned cuttlefish. The first course of cavatelli with prawns, Pachino tomatoes and pecorino cheese was simply perfect, not exactly innovative, but superlative in taste and execution. Then Grilled tuna and calamari, normal but still delicious, dessert (ricotta and pears) also pleasant. Satisfying portions, service that I would define as "spontaneous" but efficient and courteous from the waiters, prices absolutely correct if not more. Definitely, without any doubt I will return, in fact I can't wait!!!!... and I highly recommend it 🔝🔝🔝

A dream Catalana. For me, the best ever. Not all dishes are of the same quality, and the wine list is excellent with a wide selection. In my opinion, the prices are a little too high overall, considering all the factors.

Relaxed atmosphere and exceptional dishes

The service didn't receive a perfect score because one of the waitresses refused to serve us, avoiding our gaze, and when she had no other option, she said she would call a colleague, perhaps due to the communication difficulties we had at the beginning. However, the young men were extremely attentive. For those accustomed to clearer and more informative menus, we found the information quite confusing. There was no clarity regarding portion sizes to estimate prices; for example, it stated that the lobster cost €180 per kilo, but there was no information about how many kilos or grams would be in a portion. There was also no information about the cover charge, and we were charged even though we didn't eat the bread. Given this, we decided to order a fixed-price dish, and it was delicious. The pasta sauce was so rich it filled your mouth as you ate—truly excellent.

Excellent seafood and quality ingredients; prices aren't particularly low. The wait staff could be more professional, especially considering the restaurant's caliber and prices.

Best fish I had during my trip! All the seafood was extremely fresh.
