27/06/2025: Small pizza by the slice in the neighborhood, the dough is quite good, however what left me disappointed were the scarce toppings both in quantity and quality. The mozzarella on the margherita pizza was the only one to be abundant, and it made the pizza flaccid and not at all crispy. Fair prices, but despite this I don't think I will return. Service a bit slow, but kind and friendly staff.

10/06/2025: Neglected environment, sui generis staff (screams and noises for trivial reasons). The spit is scenic but the meat is not very tasty and full of pieces of fat that are very hard so that you have to remove them from your mouth little by little. Disgusting. I confirm that in terms of size between LARGE (10 euros) and MEDIUM (7.5 euros) there are no differences. Absolutely to be avoided.

22/06/2025: A nice discovery, even though they have been open for many years, I happened to have dinner there just a few days ago. We ate everything very well, very fresh products, excellent mozzarella, excellent ham. Both the first courses and the pizza were good, each of the diners really enjoyed the food. In addition, the place is pleasant, the outdoor space makes you feel at ease and encourages you to spend the whole evening there.

29/06/2025: In Ladispoli there are fast food restaurants, in Ladispoli you will find a lot of junk food, in Ladispoli you will find many places to eat, most of which do not deserve a second visit. Then there is Red and Black. Which with well thought out combinations, with passion, with precision and with raw materials of absolute quality makes pinsa, hamburgers, sandwiches and anything else that will leave you speechless. A menu that satisfies any need and a professionalism that is almost impossible to find in these parts. Go there, do yourself this favor or order from their website if you live in those parts. The place stays open until late at night, another choice that will pay off in the medium term. The prices are perfectly consistent with the quality of the raw materials and we know that quality has to be paid for. But compared to the mediocrity that is found around, Red and Black is a rare bird in a suffocating gastronomic panorama like that of Ladispoli. Well done, really well done! Don't give up!

03/07/2025: Fantastic evening….I just left the Firriato tasting and I have to say that the guys were really good…the pairings were spot on….and the guys at Firriato were very nice in entertaining us between courses. We will be back

02/07/2025: Un’esperienza di mare indimenticabile! Sono stato in questo ristorante per una cena speciale e posso dire senza esitazioni che è stato tutto perfetto. Il pesce è freschissimo, cucinato con maestria e presentato con grande cura. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di crudi semplicemente eccellente: ostriche, tartare e gamberi che si scioglievano in bocca. Come primo abbiamo scelto i paccheri allo scoglio — saporiti, abbondanti e con un profumo di mare autentico. Il secondo, una grigliata mista di pesce, era cotto alla perfezione, accompagnato da verdure fresche e ben condite. Servizio impeccabile: personale cortese, attento e molto preparato nel consigliare abbinamenti e vini. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca qualità, atmosfera e sapori autentici del mare. Torneremo sicuramente!

28/06/2025: I grabbed a supplì on the fly, I was in the area for work. Honestly, it didn't seem particularly good to me, I didn't try the pizza because it was all remade even though it was 4:20 pm. Hygiene standards need to be reviewed, in my opinion.

22/05/2025: Great neighborhood pizzeria! We go there regularly to pick up our Friday night pizza. The pizzas are excellent and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I recommend it!

31/05/2025: Very Cozy restaurant with the most friendly staff ever! We were on a bike trip and didn’t now where to sleep. They contacted a friend! And yes we had a place to sleep! After the good help we went to the restaurant where she worked! This was incredible good. The food the wine the atmosphere. Best night ever. So if you are in Calcatta go to this place and it will amaze you!

16/07/2025: I went to eat at this pizzeria in San Lorenzo and had a fantastic pizza, goat's Taleggio cheese and zucchini. The ingredients were top-notch. Paired with a top-notch natural wine. While I waited, I looked at some reviews, and one was completely negative. It claimed the pizza was horrible. I was almost worried. After enjoying one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted in my life, I thought back to that review and wondered what the woman who wrote that embarrassing review was used to eating.

02/07/2025: I give a passing grade, I can't give a full opinion. The service was good, I didn't like the pizza, it was rather burnt.

08/07/2025: If you want to eat the best Roman pizza and the best fried foods, allow me to say in all of Italy 🇮🇹 you absolutely must book at the Agusterello family-run Ristorante La Maida, where the owner and Tonina welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home.

03/07/2025: On a hot weekday evening, we found Hosteria del Mercato by chance (and we’re so glad we did!). The place had a calm, friendly vibe that pulled us in right away. It’s a beautiful restaurant, quietly tucked near the Spanish Steps, even though it’s just a short walk from the busy, high-end shopping street, Via Condotti. The service was excellent. The staff were kind and quick to help with anything we needed. They really made us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was amazing. We had two delicious bruschette: one with tomatoes, anchovies, and pecorino cheese, and another with stracciatella cheese, courgette flower, and anchovies. Then we had saltimbocca alla romana with creamy mashed potatoes. Every dish was full of flavor and the ingriends were high quality. Hosteria del Mercato is a real hidden gem, especially in such a busy part of Rome. If you love good food and a relaxed atmosphere, this place is a must. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back.
