29/06/2025: I returned to Trattoria Il Baffone after several years. My last visit was marked by a sign indicating that only cash payments were accepted. During my recent stay in Rome, I called the restaurant to check if they now accepted credit cards and, having received a positive response, I decided to return. Trattoria Il Baffone is a typical Roman trattoria where you can taste traditional dishes of local cuisine. The management is still family-run, with Donato and his daughter welcoming and serving customers with kindness. You can eat both inside and outside. Despite temperatures exceeding 30°C this week, some customers preferred to eat outside. I enjoyed a delicious gricia, one of my favorite first courses of Roman cuisine, and Roman-style artichokes. I also took a photo with Donato, always available and friendly.

17/07/2025: Ottima esperienza culinaria immersa nel verde, vasta scelta di ottimi piatti nella tradizione romana. Personale molto attento e gentile. L’unica nota i fiori di salvia impanatura troppo consistente che metteva in secondo piano il contenuto. Per tutto il resto consigliatissimo se vi trovate da queste parti.

24/07/2025: Terrible experience as I have tried 3 different rooms one after the other, and NONE of them were actually cleaned, with multiple things totally disgusting like death mosquitos and hairs on the ground of the bathroom No kattle or coffee machine in the room, but at least the bed was confortable to sleep in The gym is decent and definitely a pro for the experience, however the breakfast have limited choices but overall fine

20/07/2025: I booked a triple room using a promotion and paid around €150. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was good, and the room was very soundproof. The location near the EUR district was perfect for me. The only thing that could be improved was having more space to put my suitcases.

01/03/2025: Brunello Bar and Restaurant is a very elegant and delicious restaurant with a comfortable dining atmosphere 💕 The main course is thick-cut pork, tender and juicy. I finally tasted delicious pork during this trip to Italy 😄 The restaurant space is tall and even the stairs are very photogenic 👍 The body, mind and soul are satisfied 😌 #光美情好💕 #The food is delicious 😋

28/06/2025: AVOID! Food is terrible. Pizza is better frozen from the supermarket than here. Pasta is terrible. We dropped in for an Aperol and that's a plus! Because it was strong and rocked a little. But this is not a place for food. I don't recommend it.

29/07/2025: Had dinner. Focaccia with provola and loin: very salty Amatriciana, carbonara, fettuccine: they seemed to have been cooked by someone away from home. Entrecote: beautiful appearance, no flavor. Wines: ridiculous selection, 10-12 labels in total. Too bad, the place is nice.

28/07/2025: We went on a Saturday with a reservation; they let us in after 20 minutes, so we arrived at 9:00 PM and were seated at 9:20 PM. Six people ordered meat, and it arrived at 10:40 PM; two people ordered pizza, and it arrived at 10:55 PM. So, for about 15 minutes, those with meat ate and those with pizza watched the others eat (we even asked the waiters at least 2-3 times while waiting). The evening ended with a dessert ordered at 11:05 PM and arriving at 11:30 PM... Such a bad experience that giving one star seems excessive. The evening ended with us pointing out the immense delay to the cashier (we expected at least an apology: a coffee, a liqueur, or a token discount), but unfortunately the response was: "In the end, you ate the pizzas even after two hours, so I don't know what to say." If you have to choose a restaurant, go somewhere else.

22/06/2025: For us now a pleasant habit, Ilaria always welcomes us with her smile and makes us feel pampered, but all the staff is professional and at the same time welcoming and uncommonly helpful. The restaurant is located inside a sports complex and, although integrated into a natural and silent environment, it is easily accessible from the Appian Way and has a large parking lot. The kitchen prepares excellent first and second courses, but the pizzas and pinsa are also special. In the summer you can eat outside in front of a lawn near the tennis courts with an organization of the spaces that makes the place particularly suitable for groups or families with children because it is far from the parking lot and the road. The availability of tables makes it pleasant for couples and small groups too. There is also a large screen to follow the main sporting events for evenings with friends. Highly recommended!

23/06/2025: We came here on a Saturday night without any reservations and without too many expectations. We were immediately greeted with great courtesy and professionalism by the dining room staff. We ordered an appetizer, a first course and finally dessert. All and I mean all the courses were exceptional also thanks to the type of cuisine they do (not express cuisine) A real discovery Congratulations

19/05/2025: Very nice and good bar, the staff is kind and joking, which makes the environment welcoming as far as I'm concerned. We had breakfast and there were a lot of people, we struggled to find a table, despite this they were quite fast, good service. They filled empty croissants with pistachio cream and then coffee and cappuccino. The croissants if I'm not mistaken are Italian style, softer and lighter, without the typical flaky crust of the French croissant. I really appreciated it because they are not usually like that. In any case...Recommended!!

13/06/2025: I'm sorry to have to leave this review but I hope it will be taken as advice to improve customer service. -Update after the owner's response: I didn't get the wrong shop, it was the end of April and I also have the photos if needed- I ordered and picked up a cake for a birthday and when it was time to eat it with the celebrants, I had an unpleasant surprise. The colored decoration on top of the cake was literally inedible: very sour flavor as if there was a very high concentration of some ingredient. Luckily I had time to warn the other people. To err is human and of course! So, before leaving the review, just over half of the cake had been brought back to the shop to report the inconvenience. The response was: "We're sorry, next time we'll do it better". We're sorry too because in addition to having wasted money, we made a fool of ourselves with the guests. As a merchant, I would have at least given a bag of cookies as a gesture of apology for a mistake that can happen. We would have appreciated it. So the review is mainly to improve customer service in order to avoid losing another future regular customer (and risk another similar review).
