24/03/2025: Well, the hyper-qualified and friendly staff, the food was a little less so, specifically a pasta that was too al dente and a pappardelle with mushrooms that wasn't particularly tasty. Environment in excellent condition even if old school. Average account.
22/03/2025: Very old rooms, but clean, zero soundproofing. Catering for 10, the food is excellent, the service is excellent, the staff are friendly and very professional.

29/03/2025: Top welcome and hospitality from Ciro Cordella! Small but welcoming place, quality and excellent fish cuisine! All accompanied by impeccable organization and availability, high-level chefs, dishes cooked and presented well. Nothing to say other than that we will definitely be back!!

12/04/2025: A wonderful discovery at Cala La Pasta in Naples! I tried a local dish: pasta alla Genovese… and honestly? It was delicious! Nothing to complain about in terms of taste, it was ultra-delicious, melting, and well-crafted 🤤 I almost ordered a second plate (but hey, I didn't want to be seen as the big greedy person in the neighborhood, eh... even though at 2m tall and 110kg So yes... a personal note: for me, the portion was a little light... but I think it's mostly my stomach talking, eh... because my partner's plate was quite full. It must be said that at some point, it's more of a kitchen problem than a size problem! We waited 10 minutes outside before getting a table... but honestly, it was worth it. And between us... we killed time with a little Meloncello Spritz we found on the street... Naples or Spritz heaven, alcoholic version, haha! The price/quality ratio is excellent: €9 per plate for this quality is honestly a gift. And a big plus for the service: the young waitress was adorable, Smiling, helpful... it's nice to be welcomed (especially in Naples where the service can sometimes be a bit freestyle). In short, I recommend it wholeheartedly if you're passing through Naples and want to eat well without breaking the bank! But be careful... there's a high risk of wanting to lick your plate.🫡🙏✌🏿🙏🏾

01/04/2025: Shrimp, squid, white fish, small fish? I received an 8€ frites that included everything. It was freshly fried, with just the right amount of salt, and was delicious.The staff was also very helpful in English. Thanks to going here, Naples has delicious seafood! ! I only have an image of it.

23/02/2025: Sala da pranzo con pochi tavoli e tutta vetrate. Comodo il parcheggio sul retro. Il filo conduttore tra una numerosa serie di piatti è un qualcosa che abbiamo ritrovato in pochissimi altri locali. E' tutto un festival di cotture, ingredienti trattati in mille modi, acidità e sapidità. Visibilissime le influenze giapponesi. Cito ciò che ci è piaciuto di più: sorprendente l'ananas tipo kebab, impeccabili la seppia scottata e la zuppa di polpo con brodo di katsobushi. Grande sapidità nei tortelli con ripieno di friarielli e garum di selvaggina. La spigola in più cotture è semplicemente formidabile risultando il piatto più apprezzato. Cottura e rosolatura perfetta dell'anatra. Ottimo, dalla non estesa ma apprezzata carta dei vin, il Salderò 2021 di Walter de Batte. Servizio all'altezza. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità di ingredienti e cucina, persino buoni se paragonati a quelli di locali comparabili.

12/04/2025: The name is correct because it is neither a restaurant nor a trattoria, but more of a delicatessen with food already cooked and ready to be heated in the microwave. Folklore place, some dishes good, others a little less. There is certainly plenty of oil.

16/02/2025: Good experience, we wanted to try a pizza, then considering the menu, we chose a complete lunch. The service is good (fast and discreet), the dishes are tasty (seafood starter and a risotto) well plated, let's say you are pleasantly surprised. If it charged a little less expensive prices it would be almost perfect, but we will return if only to check if it was a coincidence or if the quality is confirmed... Anyway, worth trying... PS - We are back, the quality is no coincidence! PS1 - New visit, quality improves over time...

22/03/2025: It's the first time I've been so disappointed with food in Italy. A very salty salad was served, salt was everywhere. The pizza turned out to be tasteless, I don't understand how such a bad pizza could be made in Italy. I am very disappointed to visit this place.

19/03/2025: I came in after arguing with my boyfriend, but I was satisfied with the restaurant, so we made up naturally right away (this is all for the review) The freshness, taste, friendliness, and price were all good The cheap but delicious local wine was perfect. It's not an extremely fancy or fancy taste, but it's a local restaurant with no flaws.
07/03/2025: We ate here three years ago and this time three times in the week we were in Agerola because the selection and quality of the food was and still is very good. Super delicious pizza, first-class fish, really good desserts and wines. The Grappa Barrique is also mild and inexpensive. In addition, friendly, but often (too) hectic staff. Highly recommended, typically Italian restaurant, where mostly locals come or take away pizzas.

25/12/2024: Just right there at the Piazza Umberto Capri. Walk upstairs and you 'll just see some pretty nice views. Sit down kind of relax atmosphere during the day and at night gets a little bit more lively but the staff are very friendly and the food absolutely amazing. Wasn't anything I didn't like even that caprese salad which I generally don't eat. My nephew had asked me to try it because said he doesn't usually like it but it was good. And boy oh boy it was.
20/12/2024: We were there in September and unfortunately we had a rainy day, but the place proved to be very beautiful all the same. Really very good food, impeccable service and the classic Italian atmosphere. The restaurant can be reached after a few steps and a stone's throw from the funicular, directly overlooking the small square, perfect for a break before entering the shopping streets. Advised.

11/03/2025: It's the first time I've been to this pizzeria but I have to say I'm thrilled. Excellent products both as Italian frying and for first courses and pizza. I would say the price is below average as we take the fried food, the pizza, even 2 fillings, water and beer we paid €14 per person, large, to be recommended and tried, don't forget to book giving a certain time but even without a reservation, if there aren't many of you it certainly won't send you back 👍

05/04/2025: This was the best dining experience that I have ever had in my life! Will think about this place every time Italy comes to mind. It is now 3 months later, and it has never left my heart. Although the food was amazing, the main reason for its memorability was Mariano and his family. This is a family owned Osteria, and along with his father and his son, welcomed us into his family that night. I have never felt so welcomed anywhere. They are some of the nicest people, and even served us true neapolitan limoncello! Also, the atmosphere of the small restaurant makes the entire experience very authentic. Our meal was even stopped by a Catholic parade, truly a beautiful emersion into the culture. I could not recommend it more to everyone who visits not only Chaia, but all of Napoli! To Mariano, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

From the first moment, the atmosphere won us over: an elegant, private environment with attention to the smallest details, perfect for those looking for a gastronomic experience without chaos and frenzy. The cellar is among the most well-stocked in Naples, with a selection of labels that will satisfy even the most demanding palates. The menu is a journey through authentic flavors and innovation: from starters to desserts, each dish is an explosion of taste and creativity, the result of careful research into raw materials and excellent execution. The service? Impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive and always available, helping to make the experience even more pleasant. After this lunch, can I say without hesitation that I would go there again? Absolutely yes, even every Sunday. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. Chapeau!
