01/08/2026: We went to GattoBistrò last night, and it was a wonderful experience. The cats are fantastic and interact with everyone there, Valentina is super kind and attentive, and the food was spectacular. Every flavor was balanced, and the quality of the food was truly excellent.
We'll definitely be back, and I've already recommended the place to several friends. It's definitely worth it.
30/07/2026: A little paradise we've been frequenting for a while now. Just a glance at the cats that dominate the small but well-kept venue is enough to be captivated.
Our feline friends are cared for, pampered, and lovingly cared for by their servants…ahem, the bistro staff!
They always have food, water, toys, and lots of cuddles available! Valentina also never ceases to remind them of the rules of the establishment, essential for the well-being of our four-legged friends.
What makes the bistro stand out is the enormous selection of beverages. From soft drinks, cocktails, iced teas, to wines and craft beers, Valentina is a true expert, always ready to offer great advice.
A small, intimate gem, highly recommended! 🐱

17/02/2026: I chose this place by chance, having missed Portici for several years. We were a group of 10 and enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients and the variety of dishes, as well as the excellent value. We ordered 10 different dishes and ate together.
The wine list was excellent, and the fish was very fresh.
The desserts were delicious. The price was fair for the dishes and the ingredients. It's fair to have micro-filtered water and charge a reasonable price.
A restaurant I will definitely choose next time I return to my hometown.
The owner was friendly, professional, and polite.
I spent three days in my hometown, and three nights I dined out with friends, and of all three places I visited, this one ranks high.

14/07/2026: I was invited to have pizza for dinner at this pizzeria, and the experience was quite positive. I say quite positive because, out of three pizzas we ordered, I didn't think all of them were as excellent as many people describe them to be: the Margherita with buffalo mozzarella was certainly delicious, but the one with mortadella and stracciata was too messy and heavy. We also had a gluten-free pizza, which was good but not exceptional. The fried foods were average. The prices were very high (at least for the seasonal pizzas). The service was a bit slow, and the wait was quite long even though there weren't many people in the place. I have nothing to complain about, however, about the building itself; it's very modern. Parking is easy to find.
13/07/2026: We've been to this renowned pizzeria several times. The place is very nice and modern. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. The pizzas, as always, never disappoint. All are excellent, from the simple marinara to the more daring version for those who like to try something new. The fried foods are excellent. The only flaw: the menu isn't updated. Several pizzas that were on the menu were missing. It's a shame. Recommended anyway, because it's worth it.

17/05/2026: A very positive experience! The menu was typical Neapolitan, with generous portions. The number of dishes to choose from isn't as extensive as at many restaurants, but the owner is always willing to vary and accommodate the different needs of his guests! In my opinion, a small number of dishes is a sign of fresh ingredients! At the end of the evening, we chatted about food and movies with the owner, who proved to be very knowledgeable. All of this made for a delightful evening, one to remember! We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again!

Fantastic place! The fish we ordered was exceptionally fresh and perfectly prepared – tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It's clear that the restaurant prioritizes high-quality ingredients and pays attention to every detail.
The service also deserves great praise. The staff was incredibly friendly, smiling, and helpful, making you feel true Italian hospitality from the moment you walk in. The entire visit had a great atmosphere.
If you're in the Naples area and looking for a place with excellent food and professional service, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll happily return again.

I'm giving it three stars because there's no option to try all the appetizers; they're missing frittatine, mozzarella, and montanarine... basically, the only options are chips, zeppole, croquettes, and polenta, as pictured.
Another flaw is that you can't choose a gluten-free pizza outside of the standard options, which is a real shame because, knowing there's a dedicated oven, I was hoping to try a variety of pizzas.

24/03/2026: Today I learned that on Saturdays you shouldn't buy pastries. I asked for some small pastries and discovered once I opened the package that the sweets were at least from the day before. In any case this was the last time I go there. This is how you lose customers. If they were from the day I'm disappointed because they weren't that great.
20/03/2026: For Father's Day, we had no doubt: their zeppole di San Giuseppe are the best in Portici! You can immediately taste the artisanal excellence: light choux pastry, velvety custard, and an authentic flavor that's rare these days. This superior quality confirms this pastry shop as a true local excellence.

08/07/2026: I should start by saying that I'm also from Portici. I dined here last week, and I have to admit that the saying "clothes don't make the man" is spot on. The kitchen is open to the public, and the service is prompt and courteous. We ordered an appetizer, first course, and second course. The dishes are generous, and the fish and shellfish we ordered truly taste of the sea. The wines on the menu are good, such as Fiano or Greco Alta Vigna. The desserts are excellent, and the coffee and after-dinner drinks are good value. We promised ourselves we'd return for an octopus salad and a sea bream.

🌟 Introduction
The venue has a lovely atmosphere and is an interesting choice for a relaxing evening. Unfortunately, however, some aspects of the experience didn't live up to expectations.
👋 Hospitality and Service
The service was average, without any particular issues, but not with the customer service one would expect from a lounge bar. Furthermore, the table wasn't perfectly clean: it was sticky, a detail that negatively impacted our stay.
🛋️ Quality and Comfort of the Rooms
The atmosphere is pleasant, and the location is certainly one of its strong points. It's a shame about the cleanliness of the tables, which could be improved.
🍰 Gastronomic Experience
The tiramisu was the biggest disappointment: dry and virtually devoid of the classic coffee flavor. The tart was also rather dry. The coffee, on the other hand, was good. The mojito is just okay, with no particular positives.

The location is convenient and the place is easy to get to, ideal for a stop or an after-dinner drink.
💰 Value for money
Considering the quality of the desserts and cocktails, the value for money could be better.

A place with potential thanks to its location, but they should pay more attention to the quality of the desserts, cocktails, and especially the cleanliness of the tables. With a few tweaks, the experience could significantly improve.

05/07/2026: I was there again today, July 5, 2026, for a fixed price of €25: excellent appetizer with homemade fried food, buffalo mozzarella morsels, raw peppered mussels, Sicilian-style fusilli, and gnocchi with clams and mussels—simply fantastic. Excellent fried fish. Excellent white wine, water, fruit, and bitters. And finally, the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.
We'll definitely be back, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well in a family-friendly atmosphere.
