The heart speaks to describe the emotion of having celebrated my birthday here, together with my family. The ancient menu was delicious! Ancient and truly refined flavors. The environment was truly artfully cared for in detail. It felt like we were having lunch in a real domus. We will definitely return to participate in a themed event. I want to dedicate a separate review to the staff. The ancient Rome crew: Gianluigi, Salvatore, Giovanni, Augusto. They pampered us from the first to the last moment. I also thank them infinitely for the dessert and the sparkling wine they offered me to celebrate me. Everything unforgettable. Thank you, thank you and thank you again. Selvaggia.

Caupona non è solo un ristorante, è un’esperienza immersiva nell’antica Roma. L’atmosfera è semplicemente affascinante: luci soffuse, arredi storici e una cura dei dettagli che lascia senza parole. Il cibo è straordinario, ogni piatto è realizzato con attenzione e ha un gusto autentico, ricco, appagante. Il personale è stato impeccabile, cordiale e molto professionale. Un ringraziamento particolare a Giovanni, che ha reso la serata ancora più piacevole con la sua cortesia. Un luogo magico che consiglio vivamente a chiunque passi per Pompei. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

13/06/2025: Pizzeria restaurant attached to the hotel del sole, very elegant and modern. Medium-high prices but excellent pizza quality. The only flaw, in a place like this, is a bathroom that is not in line with the rest of the place

17/05/2025: Delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant, fantastic service from friendly staff, who were happy to recommend and explain dishes/wines to us.
15/05/2025: Discovered by chance as we were in the area for tourism. We called and they immediately found us an available table. No waiting. Wide and excellent choice on the menu that remains very consistent. Excellent quality of the products, genuine. Generous dishes, very good on the palate and beautiful to look at. Polipetti alla Luciana highly recommended as well as the octopus salad or even the first courses. All very good. The lady was very kind, attentive, always asked how it was going and if everything was appreciated. I will be back!
