Absolutely unique location, it is the second time we return, the staff is professional, welcoming and jovial. The food is 5 stars as is the presentation of the dishes. An experience to do, do again and do again! A dear thank you to Augusto and Giovanni "the Cauponiana story"!

Today for the first time I was at the Caupona restaurant, I recommend it....excellent food, excellent service, friendly and relaxing environment, definitely worth returning, oops, I forgot, it has been rebuilt down to the smallest detail, ancient Roman atmosphere...

Beautiful experience, the "ancient" menu is highly recommended. Meticulous attention to detail, both in the search for food and in Giovanni and Augusto's explanation of the restaurant. A wonderful idea that absolutely deserves a stop especially after a visit to the excavations. Unique and delicious!

Are you visiting the ruins in Pompeii? Do you want to avoid the crowded trains home that are hotter than the inside of a toasted pitta bread? Go here for dinner, let the fabulous Augusto and his delightful team bring you back to life - and get a later quieter train home. The food is excellent and we were so well taken care of.

07/11/2024: Location in a side street, very friendly and attentive service, plenty of choice on the menu and daily specials, I've had dinner here several times, good portion size, quality of the food is mostly very good (unfortunately this drops off a bit outside of the high season), value for money consistent

30/07/2024: Rating 9/10 Really very good pizza with excellent quality ingredients (I recommend trying their nerano), the rotisserie department is always well stocked and full of delicacies and friendly staff. Small sore point, the location without spaces for the car.
