Taverna Luciana Cucina Napoletana E Pizzeria In Napoli

Superbe. I've lived in Italy for over 23 years and commonly eat well when eating out. It is rare that I will post a review. La Taverna di Luciana is one of those special finds that absolutely merits distinction. Starting with the bread that goes on the table, moist sour dough with a great crunch, to the seafood pasta brimming with flavor, to the crisply fried cod fish in a delicate batter. All of it was so expertly executed. My husband's pizza, a simple Margherita was so light and so profumati. Just delicious. My grilled squid was sweet and tender. To finish I had the lightest pastiera I've ever had in my life. All homemade. Incredible quality. Reasonable prices. Do not miss this place. The staff were kind and welcoming. No pretense, just really good food. I'll definitely come again the next time I'm in Naples.

A great discovery, it's a shame it was our last day in Naples. We went on Easter Sunday, so for obvious reasons (many other places were closed), we had to wait a bit for a table... but it was worth it. The food was excellent. Mrs. Luciana was very kind, as was all her staff. The pizza chefs even brought a pizza dough to the table to help me while my daughter waited... all the dishes were beautiful and delicious, from the starters, which were delicious and plentiful, to the main courses, and the excellent pizza... Congratulations to everyone.

The food was so good we went two days in a row! Much less busy at lunch than dinner. Gluten free food (pizza and pasta) were absolutely amazing. Gluten free Pizza is made on a fresh dough - NOT a ready base. The wine is delicious and cheap, and the staff is quick and polite. The portions are actually really big! I recommend booking in advance.

Been in Naples for 2 nights and were recommended this restaurant by our Air BnB host we went and had fried anchovies (amazing!), pizzas, octopus salad, carbonara, all amazing choices. My girlfriend is gluten free and we had a gluten free pizza to share between 3 people, i would never be able to tell it was gluten free, it was amazing, crispy, fluffy and delicious. Couldn't recommend this place enough. We went 2/2 days we were here. Great wine and service. Thanks!

A lovely, clean, and spacious tavern. You can choose from pizza or traditional Neapolitan fare. The Montanarina is delicious, and the Genovese is excellent, with ziti cooked al dente. The wine list is extensive, and the house Aglianico is good. The staff is friendly and polite.

Very welcoming atmosphere, we ate really well, the pizza was fantastic! Very attentive and friendly staff, highly recommended!
