Excellent pizza fritta served on the terrace with efficient and friendly service. A surprisingly quiet spot in a very noisy neighborhood. A great place to eat.

Excellent place for typical Neapolitan food. I chose spaghetti with clams and it was perfect. Large clams with a taste of the sea! Perfect!

It's our fifth day in Naples, and after eating just about everywhere, we came to La Locanda del Grifo on the recommendation of the hotel staff. In our opinion (obviously subjective), it's the place where we've eaten best: we were greeted with great warmth, the ingredients are excellent, and no one rushes you when you're finished. We wish this restaurant many more customers who appreciate not only quantity but also quality. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome!

It is the best place and best food we had during our 5 -day- stay at Napoli. We came back the second time before leaving Napoli. Perfect service, cosy place, food is delicious, very welcoming staff. Twice i choose the same dish, Salmon with potatoes baked and smashed, sauce was also very tasty. The first time we liked it so much that we forgot to make foto. Ha-ha-ha.. Thanks a lot for wonderful food, and hospitality.

I would have gladly given it 4 stars, but it "evaporated in the oven," like the anchovies on the Neapolitan pizza! (That's what the waiter said when we asked him where the anchovies were....)
