09/10/2025: One of the best restaurants in Ischia is recommended, especially for its specialty, Ischitan-style rabbit, which requires advance reservation. But beyond the specialty, everything was delicious, from the house appetizer to the excellent first courses. Not to mention that, if you arrive at sunset, you'll witness a truly incredible display of colors.

03/10/2025: Absolutely great restaurant! Was recommended by a local as one of the last family owned restaurants to use locally caught rabbits for their Ischia Rabbit dish. Everything was hearty and delicious and all the staff was extremely friendly and upbeat. If you want classic Italian warmth with delicious food go here!!

09/11/2025: DON’T COME HERE! The Food sucks!!! I got the spaghetti and meatballs and was very salty and meatball wasn’t fresh. It’s not even an Italian thing. They charge $4 euro for water and $2 a person for cover charge, ripped off!!!

05/11/2025: Fast friendly and efficient service! Carbonara and seafood plate were both great. Would recommend for a quick, easy and quality lunch or dinner.

More than a recommendation - a "must go" in this area! It's where the locals eat and meet. And they know how to celebrate good seafood!

24/10/2025: Well, what can I say...once you go, you won't be able to get enough. Yesterday was our second time; we'd been there three years ago. Let's start with the kindness of the owner and waiter, two delightful people, kind, helpful, and smiling. The atmosphere is incredible, somewhere between rustic and elegant, a combination that makes this restaurant a true gem, with truly meticulous attention to detail. The food is ionospheric, I've only eaten like this at home; I've never seen a restaurant with such authentic and genuine flavors. The Genovese was top-notch, as were the house antipasto and tiramisu. A truly exquisite menu, and above all, meticulous attention to flavor and presentation, because, as we all know, appearance counts. Truly a rare gem. I'll always return whenever possible.

01/10/2025: Spent our last night in Italy at this restaurant. What an incredible choice!! From the warm welcome, to the unbelievably delicious food, to the owner asking about our dining experience and informing us about Napoli history and tradition, everything was 10/10. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop here!! I cannot wait to return next time we are in the area. Special mention goes to the Ziti Genovese, the Salted Caramel Panne Cotta and the Fillet.

21/11/2025: Ottomano is a charming family run business with the kindest owners and servers. Not only did we try some of the best seafood we had in Ischia here, but the restaurant allowed us to stay inside with them even when they were closing, because of the rainfall that wouldn’t stop. We were unprepared and they kindly welcomed us to remain indoors as we enjoyed an espresso and cuddles from the owners dog. The mixed seafood appetizer is a must - it changed my opinion on anchovies for the better because of how fresh and lightly dressed in lemon it was. Everything is worth trying here. 26/10/2025: Taking the €5 taxi boat from S. Angelo to Spiaggia dei Maronti on October 6, 2025 (the day after the storm) was quite an experience for me. The sea offered otherworldly colors, and the visibility was so clear that I could recognize almost every house on the island of Capri. Things started off well for me! I had already bookmarked the Ottomano in Hamburg. I was not disappointed: the view, the food (super fresh alici marinati to start with, gnocchi alla sorrentina for the main course), a full bread basket, a large bottle of water, coffee, excellent service, and fabulous value for money. In short: simply delicious and wonderful! Il mio nuovo luogo di felicità – grazie mille! Tornerò!

01/11/2025: Pizzeria located in Secondigliano. We ordered several fried pizzas and a few pizzas. The pizza was good; the fried pizza was large, well-topped, and very light. It arrived promptly. Recommended.

15/08/2025: A friend and I whent there. The food was delicious and cheap (20€ for 2). The staff is friendly and speaks English. Possibly to for a takeaway if you can't finish. Plus they do the fry pizza. We recommend

20/10/2025: Octopus? Definitely try it. Very hospitable and excellent food with very attentive service. Good value for money, especially for Capri. We'll be back.

18/10/2025: Given the great reviews here, we had high expectations - which were not met. The food was good, but not outstanding. Drinks and appetizers are way overpriced.

Appetizer: two mixed seafood platters divided into four; (photo) First course: vermicelli pasta with mussels and zucchini flowers; (photo) Dessert: classic tiramisu accompanied by coffee. The only flaw is that I think the price is a bit high, but nothing outrageous.

HAVE A GOOD LIFE AND LEARN TO KNOW AND RESPECT PEOPLE AND NOT TO MAKE JUDGMENTS THAT DO NOTHING BUT MAKE YOUR SMALL AND NARROW THOUGHTS UNDERSTAND. NOW YOU CAN ANSWER WHAT YOU WANT. I WON'T EVEN READ. I find these discussions pointless and low!!!................................. Terrible welcome, indecent bathrooms, no customer care. If we hadn't asked to sit down, no one would have come near. After a long wait, we finally got seated: our glass was still half full with water from previous customers and our plates were full of crumbs. We asked for a change, and although the waiter nodded, he didn't bother to replace them. After consulting the menu and waiting more than 20 minutes, METRO (as one of the waiters called him) DID NOT COME to take our order. So, we got up and left politely and without arguing; it wouldn't have made sense. ZERO STARS would have been the right rating. Avoid if you can.

03/12/2025: A sublime dinner in Naples' Spanish Quarter! For various reasons, we found ourselves passing by this little place several times, and it always caught our eye; we didn't want to leave without trying it. We were even lucky enough to dine at a table on the "fake balcony" overlooking the alley. The staff was truly kind and attentive. The only detail we recommend fixing is the wine list, because that crumpled white paper wrapped in plastic really clashes with the setting of the place, which is truly a gem. Thank you, Naples
