08/07/2024: We went to this location for my son's first communion, everything was wonderful and attention was paid to the smallest details. The dishes were greatly appreciated, first and foremost by us parents and we also received compliments from the guests. The DJs who involved all the guests were also exceptional, making us have fun and thanks again to the very kind dining room staff and to chef Ciro who delighted us with the dishes he prepared

16/08/2024: Excessive price, they have charged us €32 for 2 coffees with milk and 2 Coca Colas. Also, the coffee was bland. You have to add €10 per cover. Total €42 for nothing, two people.

02/09/2024: Lovely local place, which is a delight, so close to the more commercial shopping district. Loved the tuna meat balls with aubergine! The ravioloni were also really good, home made!

03/09/2024: Small restaurant on the beach in Marina di Puolo, the owner is attentive and friendly with his customers. Seafood dishes are more than reasonable and prices are normal for the place where it is located.

02/09/2024: Very delicious tomato sause and mozzarella. Good prices. Tiramisu is excellent. Only negative that the pizzadough was a bit chewy, but the pizza for 6€ was still very good

10/08/2024: Un des meilleurs restaurant dans lequel nous avons mangé dans notre périple italien, le chef est extrêmement sympathique. L'accueil est chaleureux, le décor raffiné, et les plats sont savoureux. Notre repas fut un vrai moment de plaisir, cerise sur le gâteau, les vins sont aussi incroyable!

19/07/2024: A jewel in the middle of the rather dreary surroundings of Vesuvius. Super friendly and extremely accommodating. Excellent cuisine with balanced portion sizes and really special taste. The espresso was prepared in the patent cooker and there is basically no beer - a statement. The dry white wine with the meal was at the perfect temperature and also excellent. It's worth taking a detour off the itinerary for a meal at Bistro Rei.

20/08/2024: Go here and get the short rib ragu. That’s all I have to say. I will dream about it forever. (Edited to add that this was the best meal of my six week trip) Amazing staff and service. Fun experience to watch the chefs and dine at the counter.

19/08/2024: If anyone from any food guides is reading this, know that no one from our party would ever recommend this restaurant. Someone from our party had a wonderful solo experience in spring of 2023 but was thoroughly disappointed this time. This is not Michelin Bib Gourmand quality. Entry: The restaurant reduced my reservation from 5 to 2 people without telling me and would only seat us after I showed them their confirmation email to me. Food: The food was too salty and 2/3 pasta dishes on the Chef Fai Tu tasting menu were undercooked. I could still see the white after biting into each piece. To be clear, this was much less cooked than “al dente.” Wine: Part of our party got the wine pairing. The other part got a bottle to share amongst the others. The wine pairing was 100% not worth it. First, our server reacted to our request for the wine pairing by saying that “It would be easier for me if you just ordered a bottle for the table.” Crazy. Two of us got it anyways. The servers did not bother to explain why the wines paired well with the dishes. For our fourth and supposedly last glass of the pairing, they poured us wine from our table’s bottle, not from a different bottle. When we asked for the fourth glass, the server said we had received it. When we pushed back that we saw them pour the same bottle into all of our glasses and that the fourth glass clearly wasn’t a different wine, they consulted amongst themselves and then gave us a different, non-dessert wine. (The dessert had been served by this point.) There were a host of other issues, but these are the highlights. Would not recommend. I got better pasta at the add-on lunch experience at a non-specialty farm and food tour.

03/08/2024: Really very suggestive structure with greenery and swimming pool. Normal size and well made with availability of a pizzeria and restaurant with a large car park. The food was very good, especially appetizers and pizza. We got together for a birthday on a Friday night, so dinner. Fairly lit. The only flaw, the staff were quite friendly but perhaps it happened for the evening, i.e. the slightly poor service, including forgetfulness, general insecurities and inappropriate comments. All in all I recommend it for parties and ceremonies with an experienced caterer suitable for the event.

16/08/2024: The place is very nice and welcoming. The owner, kind and friendly, is very attentive to guests. We had an appetizer, gnocchi and fried fish. All delicious. In particular, the fry was prepared with very fresh fish (probably catch of the day). The owner carefully explained to us what was inside and how it was prepared. Furthermore, the prices are really honest. I highly recommend this restaurant!

29/11/2023: I came to restaurant by chance back in 2019 and just visited again yesterday. Service is good, quality of food is great and prices are definitely fair, not a tourist trap like a lot of places around Naples. Highly recommend!

11/11/2023: Picked this place as it had great reviews however it wasn’t a great experience. The meatballs were stuck together as if they had tried to defrost them quickly, and the spaghetti was super bland. I felt sick immediately after eating too which isn’t a good sign. Also it was cash only, no WiFi, and no running water in the toilet sink.. The waitress was friendly.
