13/04/2026: The staff are attentive and friendly, the rooms are welcoming and meticulously maintained, but the hotel's location and structure don't justify such high prices: we're in the middle of a busy and very noisy area, with few amenities for those who don't want to drive; the garden, though well-kept, is surrounded by buildings and private homes. We weren't thrilled with breakfast and lunch at the restaurant; we expected much more.

09/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in Massa Lubrense. I ate spaghetti with clams that was simply divine: flavorful, fragrant with the aroma of the sea, and truly exquisitely prepared. One of those seemingly simple dishes that, when done properly, are memorable. What made the evening even more enjoyable was the hospitality: friendly, warm, and genuine, making you feel immediately at ease without ever being intrusive. A place that will remain with me among the fond memories of these days in Massa Lubrense and one to which I would gladly return. Highly recommended!

28/07/2026: We went to Don Vito's last Saturday, after a swim, for lunch/dinner at 5 pm. Everything was perfect. From the service to the menu, to the value for money. Excellent fresh fish. Very friendly staff. You can also get there by boat; just call the restaurant, and a small boat with a very friendly sailor will pick you up and bring you back. We'll definitely be back.

10/08/2026: I don't usually review something I don't like, but being served an appetizer of "cicenielli" with ammonia in a restaurant of this caliber is unacceptable. The place is certainly pleasant for those like me who love history, but upon entering, the smell of cooking was noticeable. At the table, there was a chipped glass and dated, greasy menus. The appetizer tasted ammonia, and the risotto on a fig leaf was tasteless. No wine, but I ordered the famous "Delizia" (literally, "Delizia"), where I could tell that lemon was probably used by looking at the seeds inside. €110 for two was unacceptable. I hope this review helps such an important name rejuvenate.

16/05/2026: Everything was perfect: exceptional view of the Bay of Naples, spacious and clean room, pleasant staff. The restaurant is very good with extremely reasonable prices. There's a daily shuttle to Sorrento town center. Thank you to the owners for this perfect stay!

14/05/2026: First time in Sorrento and this hotel exceeded expectations. It is quiet, clean and the Family that owns it is amazing. Highly recommend it if you want to step away from the hustle outside your window from the main tourist area down below. We stayed in room 106 and it was spacious and very clean inside. The only critique was the a/c didn't work while we were there but the weather was cool enough we had the door open and they provided an oscillating fan. The breakfast is simple but more than sufficient to get your day started with a fresh assortment of pastries, a fresh orange juice machine, plenty of coffee and some other various items to enjoy. The shuttle provided stops hourly most of the day leaving you right above the main tourist area so it is convenient. Don't forget to try their Restaurant for dinner! We are there our last night. Not only was the food Amazing. It was one of the least inexpensive meals while in Sorrento. You must try it! Overall Il Nido is highly recommended. Grazie Il Nido Familia

02/07/2026: We arrived at the hotel for 9 days, 6 of us, two families. The travel agency only managed to book 2 3-bed rooms for us, but we indicated when booking that 2 rooms were a scam, one for 4 and one for 2, so we would like a room. In 3 months, there was no feedback that they could not solve this, and on site they said that they did not have a 4-bed room :( we asked that we could at least get a mattress, let us sleep on the floor. If there is nothing else, just let the family be together. They did not help us in any way :( finally we went to the neighboring town, bought a single inflatable mattress and the family could be together. Apart from the first conflict, it is a very cozy place, it is family-run, it shows in everything. The staff is very friendly, kind (even the cleaners, which is not typical in a large hotel). The service could only be booked with breakfast, which was very varied and delicious. In the evenings we often had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The menu, although I did not have a lot of choice, but what we tasted was very delicious and tasty. The rooms are well equipped, not particularly modern, but practical. The rooftop pool and the panorama of the rooms are magnificent. They did not take the closing time of the pool too seriously, if we stayed a little longer in the evening and it was absolutely fine. There is a separate bar by the pool, it is worth eating and drinking there. The owners are present in everyday life, they are kind, attentive and you can feel this throughout the hotel. The location of the hotel is a little different from usual. There is nothing nearby. You have to take a bus for everything, but the bus schedule is quite good, you can go anywhere with a 2 euro ticket per person. The sea was the most missing thing, it is almost impossible to find it without a car and with small children. Steep shores, secluded streets. Once we managed to find a beach in 9 days, it was also crowded, but the hotel pool is clean, tidy, the water is a good temperature, this made up for it. Such a wonderful panorama and sunset are rare in places, we couldn't get enough of it. Overall, after the chaos of the first day, we loved being there. I still don't know if there really are no 4-bed rooms or if they just didn't want to solve it. (There were more than one family of 4 at the hotel, but we didn't ask them how they slept) In our place, instead of a comfortable mattress/bed, our main slept on a tent mattress every night, but apart from that, everything was fine.

13/06/2026: Restaurant with great views and excellent service; the waiter was very attentive and friendly. We ordered two pasta dishes plus dessert, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced.

10/06/2026: Best restaurant we’ve been to in Campania (even though the bar is high). Fantastic regional food, best homemade limoncello ever, huge delicious burrata. Amazing service - super knowledgable, helpful and professional staff. Great view and atmosphere, very few tourists, mostly local families. I rarely come back to the same restaurants during my travels but this one was an exception.

07/09/2025: We came in as outsiders for a dip in the pool and also stayed for lunch. We relaxed, had fun, and ate well. It was one of our birthdays, and the waiters immediately made themselves available to help us celebrate, singing a birthday song with us, complete with a candle. The atmosphere was relaxing, professional, and fun. Recommended.

10/10/2025: Excellent experience!!! The drinks were delicious (limoncello and aperol), the pizza was spectacular, and the lasagna was out of this world!!! 😋😋😋 The service was extremely friendly, both from the waitress and the owner himself... exceptional warmth... we felt right at home❤️, we are Uruguayans. We are very grateful to everyone... we would definitely go back there!!! 🥰
