12/01/2024: Da Gelsomina is one of the best restaurants on the Island of Capri. Located in Anacapri, the other city on the island, it is a little further away, HOWEVER, the restaurant itself offers a free pickup service for its customers. They pick you up in the center of Anacapri, take you to the restaurant and drop you off when you return. This is excellent!!! The restaurant is beautiful, located in a wonderful place with spectacular views. They have their own vegetable garden, from where they harvest fresh ingredients for their dishes, and a grapevine for their homemade wine. Everything delicious. Don't forget to try the traditional and incredible RAVIOLI CAPRESE and my favorite, the green Gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce. Sensational! For more brasilecapri. with

22/12/2023: I have not encountered this restaurant in any of my research prior to coming to Capri but came on the recommendation from our host at our hotel who helped to book reservations. He told us that we would have an amazing experience at this restaurant in Anacapri but when I looked on the map, it was actually outside of town! I wondered how we would get there considering we only had bus tickets as tourists. It's simple, the restaurant offers a complimentary shuttle service from Anacapri to the restaurant and back. Once we arrived, I knew that we were somewhere special! Thanks to our reservations, we were given a stunning table by the window where we could witness the magnificent Capri sunset as this restaurant is facing west and is famous for or their sunset views. I can tell you that their food was just as impressive as the the setting sun! The service was top-notch and on point from the experienced wait staff. All of the food was expertly prepared and incredibly fresh especially the seafood. We ordered a local fish that was prepared with olives and capers and it was absolutely delicious. This was a truly memorable dining experience and one that we will not forget for a long time from Capri!

14/10/2023: An impressive place with azure blue water and rocks, small beach and unfortunately you can't visit the lighthouse, but worth a visit. The landscape is simply impressive!!

02/04/2024: Very nice discovery, meal in a garden of lemon and orange trees. The food is very good, with seasonal and local products. I recommend this place when visiting Anacapri!

01/04/2024: We tried the aperitif at their wine shop. We were greeted by trained, kind and helpful staff. The offer is very valid, both in terms of wines and food, on the menu you can find delicious dishes that are different from all the rest of the nearby offer (top tartare and focaccia with octopus water!). The only advice I can give is to personalize the location more with more particular furnishings, in line with their menu. For the rest, I think we need to reward the commitment of those who dare and believe in what they do, we'll be back!

01/01/2024: Given that it was January 1, 2024 and finding an open place was difficult, we ate very well, were treated very well, we were just left a bit like this because of the bill, not so much for the dishes which were super, but for the cover charge, the desserts (€7.50 a slice of caprese), coffee and water. 05/01/2024: Each pizza was freshly baked in the oven, and the dough was fluffy and delicious. The service was also very good and I was able to enjoy my meal without stress.

01/04/2024: The worst pizza I ate during my trip in Italy The dough was really bad (almost felt like a frozen pizza) and the cheese felt like fake cheese (real cheese doesn’t burn normally) I put 2* because still a cheap way to eat (pizza is around 10 euros) and the service was ok

12/03/2024: My meal was scrumptious. I got spaghetti with zucchini and it was SO good. My boyfriend (a food snob) said it was a 10/10 pasta and I’ve never heard him say that. Super duper yummy. He got a hotdog and a burger and said that they were the best he’s had in Italy so far. These guys are worth it! Also it was super cute inside and there were 2 dogs inside at dinner with their owners and it was the most adorable thing ever.

16/02/2024: One of the rare restaurants open in February, the food is quite good, the service rather friendly, but the prices are quite high, allow €20 for a plate of pasta.

07/02/2024: The owner was nice and allowed us to charge our phone, so 3 instead of 1 star. The pasta was over salted so 2 out of 3 dishes were tasteless, we got a €10 discount but we still paid €30 for dishes that we couldn't eat. The lasagne was even good, but not amazing. Maybe we were just unlucky. A total of about €60 for 3 dishes and two of us left hungry.

10/02/2024: The day we visited it was raining very heavily. During a short break in the weather we grabbed a coffee, hot dog and toasted sandwich. The food (and coffee) were delicious. The rain set in again and the friendly team made room for us to stand inside their little stall so we could finish eating without drowning. Very kind of them.

23/01/2024: Very good lemon sorbet, served in lemon. The location is good, you can cool off while sightseeing.

01/04/2024: Situato al centro di Anacapri, location caratteristica. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di mangiare una pasta e patate favolosa, anche le altre portate davvero di buon livello. Personale cordiale ed accogliente. Conto in linea con la media del luogo. Il migliore ristorante di Anacapri tra quelli che abbiamo avuto modo di testare. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

30/03/2024: Utmärkt mat men bristande service. Trevligt läge, precis vid ingången till stadens centrum. Fick varken bröd eller salt och peppar när andra bord fick det i början av serveringen.Notan tog mer än en halvtimme när vi väl skulle gå. Cover charge ligger på 3 euro per person.

09/12/2023: Il ristorante perfetto! Il servizio e' professionale ma anche amichevole e simpatico. I piatti al di sopra di ogni sospetto: raffinatissimi e saporiti, con sapori molto naturali: una lavorazione delle materie prime semplice ma non per questo facile, anzi! Quando vuoi esaltare il sapore del singolo ingrediente e unirlo armonicamente agli altri, senza lavorazioni complicate e snaturanti, non ti puoi permettere il minimo errore. E' un lavoro di precisione che fa l'ottimo chef! Il posto e' mozzafiato. Il costo elevato ma assolutamente commisurato alla offerta!!!

29/09/2023: Abbiamo scelto questa splendida terrazza per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio, abbiamo fatto un aperitivo sulla terrazza, un moito e un negroni accompagnato da un misero snack tre coppette con olive, mandorle e lupini che si addicono piu ad uno chalet di mergellina che ad un hotel di lusso al costo di 44 euro! La cena buona, tagliolini fatti in casa con là bottarga e un antipasto con tartare di tonno , ottimo il dessert all arancia , un flan delizioso, vino molto caro un fiano ad 80 euro la bottiglia!Ci ha servito un cameriere un po troppo invadente che quando ha saputo del nostro anniversario ha detto a mio marito “anche lei ha la palla! Inaccettabile per un ristorante elegante!
