Don’t skip the viewpoint through the restaurant.
08/06/2026: It's supposed to be ordinary spaghetti, but it tastes extraordinary. The circumstances make it worth dining here. Kochania is similar to home-cooked spaghetti; it's nothing special, but I guess that's what I expect here. The waiter, after 7 p.m., didn't smile, but we managed to get along.

05/05/2026: We went for lunch on Saturday with friends, and what can I say? First of all, the view was breathtaking, you can see Sant'Angelo and half the island from very high up. Then there's the truly beautiful and well-kept location. As for the food, we took recommendations from the waiters, all super polite and truly engaging in explaining the dishes and the history of the island, especially Michele. We had appetizers from the poacher, nothing short of fantastic, then tagliatelle with rabbit, which was out of this world, and for the main course, rabbit. What can I say? It was an exceptional day! Thanks to you, we'll definitely be back.
05/05/2026: We had a great time and the food was really good. The location isn't the easiest to find, and the prices are a bit higher than average.

07/06/2026: We booked and were greeted impeccably by the staff. The owner and his son-in-law, Ernesto, were friendly and courteous, especially since they were excellent. As for the food, it was excellent and plentiful. The atmosphere was warm and family-friendly. Definitely a recommended experience.

Ate here a few times on our week in Ischia.
Really warm and professional service
Delicious food.
Spent a day at adjacent lido for a beach day too which we really enjoyed. Again superb welcome and service.
01/05/2026: It's likely that the pressure of the evening on Saturday led to a less-than-ideal result, but they really could have done better in the kitchen. Perhaps they should try again once a week.

01/09/2025: We stayed in the apartments at the end of August, and our stay was incredibly surprising: the view is breathtaking, the service, quality, and food at the restaurant below the accommodation are wonderful.
There's a homely atmosphere, and the courtesy, kindness, hospitality, and beauty of the location set this place apart. Getting around is easy with public transportation, always available, with two stops just steps from the apartment, or by scooter. Sole Nascente is located on the side of the island with the most interesting places to visit, such as Sorgente Bay, Citara Beach, Forio, and Sant'Angelo. I recommend dining at the agriturismo to admire the seascape, which is also clearly visible from the apartments. If we were to return to Ischia, this would be our first choice.
12/08/2025: The place is very family-friendly, with various rooms and beautiful views, but with some details that are lacking in maintenance. The service lacks empathy for new customers. It's a local restaurant where everyone already knows where to eat, but for tourists, they should offer options and recommendations about the restaurant. However, what we ordered (already recommended by other locals) was divine... excellent cuisine.

30/10/2025: A trattoria on stilts, in an incredible location. The decor is dated but reassuring. The kitchen produces true gems of taste! Super fresh fish. Authentic flavors. An elderly lady in the kitchen expertly masters the art of showcasing the finest ingredients. The marinated anchovies are incredible in size and flavor. The eggplant parmigiana is perfect. The house wine is very good. The price is reasonable for the quality. I'll be back.

20/10/2025: Visiting Cantina Raustella was such a unique and delightful experience! The winery is absolutely beautiful and has a character all its own. Francesco was a wonderful host — warm, welcoming, and so passionate about what he does. We loved tasting the delicious variety of food, desserts, fresh fruit, and of course, the limoncello. We also really appreciated all the photos Francesco took for us to capture the memories. Truly a special and memorable visit! We'll be back!
17/10/2025: We really enjoyed the visit. My girlfriend and I were very enthusiastic. The wine cellar tour was very interesting and informative. I was familiar with the wine cellar and had been there with my husband 23 years ago. My grandfather was still alive back then. I brought back many fond memories from that visit. The food and wine were delicious. We highly recommend it. Thank you.

16/01/2026: It’s a typical tourist trap; they’ll do anything to squeeze money out of you.
We ordered a baked sea bream, a fish that usually costs around €16 per kilo, and it was sold to us at €90 per kilo as the “catch of the day,” when in fact it was farmed and not very fresh.
Avoid this place — they are dishonest.
We have already advised all our clients not to go there.
The food is average and not worth the price charged.

18/12/2025: I had the privilege of enjoying this lovely meal with a splendid view of the sea.
The pasta was delicious, and the service was very friendly, even though I had arrived (unbeknownst to me) before dinner opening time.
Furthermore, the prices seemed fair considering the breathtaking view the restaurant offers.
28/09/2025: Excellent location, right on the sea (we're in Ischia, in the Sant'Angelo area). You pay the right amount and eat very well.
We had spaghetti with octopus and potatoes... recommended.

Update 2026: We visited the bar again this year and enjoyed the beautiful view and treated ourselves to a Campari Orange. The oranges were freshly squeezed! We'll definitely be back.

11/10/2025: Highly recommended! I had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and pikeperch with porcini mushrooms and vegetables. Everything was excellent and the portions were generous. Too bad they're closed now and won't reopen until Easter, otherwise I would have had a second helping straight away.

02/06/2026: Extremely disappointed with the entire experience, from start to finish. First things first: I emailed and called about a month in advance to reserve a specific table on the terrace near the balustrade for a sea view. I also called a few days before to reiterate the request. Upon arrival, there was no welcome; I didn't know who to ask. I said hello and was almost ignored. They showed me to the table, and it wasn't the one I'd chosen. Naturally, I asked for an explanation, especially since the table was available and it was empty. They told me it was reserved. I explained the situation and then told me that, unfortunately, there had been a mix-up. Okay, so we ordered: some dishes weren't available. When the dish we ultimately chose arrived, it was wrong, and they took it back. The only positive note was that the food was good, even if the prices were out of proportion, including water for €5 and spaghetti with seafood for €28.

A seafood experience with a breathtaking view.
The food? Superlative.
The service was impeccable: the staff is cheerful, welcoming, and attentive to every detail.
