17/05/2026: Mind-blowing place in Naples. The whole staff took care of us amazingly, they recommended every single dish we chose, and honestly everything was exquisite and at a really good price. I recommend the land menu or seafood menu - they include several options to try, plus a coffee at the end. The pacchero dello chef was incredible, all the seafood was super fresh, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. I hope I can come back soon to try more dishes!

14/06/2026: Convenient location, within walking distance of shops, cafes, and restaurants, and 2 minutes to the sea. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean and new. They provide cribs for couples with children. Breakfasts are not particularly varied, but delicious.

Luisa, with her smile and kindness, was helpful and impeccable, along with the other girls. We'll definitely return; they make you feel at home.

02/04/2026: Cute cafe that was very popular (people queuing for tables outside!). They offer a lunch menu which includes a combo of 2 dishes for 7€ or 3 for 9€. The dishes are a slightly odd mix of salads, pasta, houmous, veggies but hit the spot and such good value. There’s also main salads and vegetable burgers on the rest of the menu. We couldn’t stay for dessert but the menu looked great - cheesecake, cannoli and more!

The service leaves a bit to be desired, as it's more about putting on a show than serving you properly. The food isn't the best quality. If you're looking for a night of total chaos, it's highly recommended.

07/06/2026: The venue is certainly beautiful: well-kept, distinctive, and strongly inspired by Neapolitan tradition. Its location in Posillipo offers a spectacular view of the sea and Naples from above, which alone is worth the visit. The food was also generally good. What left me perplexed, however, was the entertainment management. I understand the idea of ​​creating a cheerful atmosphere, featuring music, singing, jokes, and customer engagement, but in my opinion, it often goes too far. Be aware that the staff can be quite intrusive: during the evening, my boyfriend was grabbed from behind, pulled by the hair, and forced to eat a forkful of spaghetti, which also ended up on his polo shirt, staining it. Furthermore, the venue seems to be a popular destination for bachelor and bachelorette parties. During our dinner, one of the newlyweds was left practically in his underwear in the middle of the room, a situation I personally found in poor taste. I also found some of the staff's jokes inappropriate, based on outdated stereotypes. For example, hearing people associate ordering a fish dish with homosexuality as a source of ridicule struck me as anachronistic and unprofessional. In short: beautiful location, excellent view, and good food, but the entertainment was too invasive and sometimes distasteful for my tastes. For this reason, I don't think I'd return.

24/05/2026: Our stay at the Hotel La Palma on Capri was a fantastic experience overall. The exceptionally friendly and professional welcome was definitely a highlight. The reception staff were always helpful and very attentive. We also really liked the beautifully and stylishly furnished rooms. Unfortunately, the first room we were assigned (No. 305) faced a children's playground. The noise from there was audible even through the very well-insulated windows, making it impossible to spend time in the room or on the veranda with the balcony doors open. However, we were very happy with the second room we were given. It was quiet despite being right next to the pool (on the same level). What we didn't like at all, and what deserves at most two stars, was the (included for us) breakfast and the "service" associated with it. There was a very small buffet with mostly sweet cakes and pastries. There was also one Italian white bread and one type of dark bread. Yogurt, three jams, and Italian cheese were also available, but the cheese was very strong and not exactly what you'd expect for breakfast. But perhaps that's a matter of personal taste. There was also antipasti and muesli. Everything was the same every day. What we missed was a selection of sausage, ham, and cold cuts. Italy truly offers a wide variety of these. As we learned, these could be ordered from a menu, but at a considerable extra charge. 🧐 From this menu, you could also choose one hot drink (the teapot was only half full, so it was just one cup). Waffles and egg dishes were free, but bacon was also charged extra at €8. Unfortunately, the service at breakfast can only be described as incredibly poor. With the exception of one server, everyone seemed to suffer from collective amnesia. Every morning, we had to repeat our orders three or four times because we still hadn't received a hot drink or butter after 20 minutes. Furthermore, numerous orders, such as water, eggs, etc., were delivered completely incorrectly. For a hotel belonging to the Dr. Oetker Collection and operating in this price range, this is unacceptable. This urgently needs improvement. Nevertheless, this hotel can certainly be recommended. The price-performance ratio isn't really right, but that's due to the location and the island of Capri itself. Nothing here is cheap, but you know that beforehand. But it's absolutely beautiful and pure entertainment!
