My feedback is always overwhelmingly positive for the quality of the ingredients, the courtesy, the atmosphere, and the good value (not great, because I think it's located in Piazza dei Martiri).

29/03/2026: A pleasant dinner in a well-decorated restaurant with welcoming and helpful staff! Excellent fried anchovy appetizer and dessert. A shame about the main courses: they were bland and not generous, but the prices were absolutely out of line. Definitely worth trying again.

09/04/2026: Lovely and tasty among the locals, nice and busy service (as Neapolitans can be). The owner is clearly present in a positive way. Food is delicious, pure, and good. Price......I still have to pay, but it will probably be reasonable (certainly compared to the Netherlands).

18/04/2026: Absolutely terrible service. I wanted to have pizza with my husband, but I ate alone because my husband's pizza was wrong twice in a row. The non-EU waiter didn't even understand the correction we explained to him precisely. It's true that they didn't charge it, but my husband was left hungry and the evening was ruined. We won't be returning.

11/12/2025: Don't miss it! You have to visit Agerola at least once in your life! Then, if you stay at the Hotel 2 Torri, you'll be welcomed like part of the family! Exceptional!

24/03/2026: A historic local restaurant. Excellent value for money. We organized an evening with about forty friends without any problems. The restaurant is large with plenty of tables and seating. The service was quick despite the large group, and the pizza was good. The price per person was a pleasant surprise. It's an ideal place for families and those who want to eat out without spending a fortune. The fried pizza is a must-try.

27/03/2026: My experience was very positive; the staff who served us were wonderful and very friendly. The food, in my opinion, was excellent; eating dishes that reminded me of the flavors, aromas, and atmosphere of my thirty years in Torre was a true joy. I highly recommend everything about the evening spent here, including the excellent interior and exterior design.

15/11/2025: My wife and I booked a three-day stay at the San Martino farmhouse. It's surrounded by lush greenery, meticulously maintained, and yet quiet yet just steps from the city. The rooms are spotless and attentive to our needs. We found two bottles of water and one of Prosecco in the fridge, included in the price. The staff were all friendly and professional, the food was excellent and plentiful, and they were very attentive to our allergies and intolerances. We especially thank Miss Tina, always available and professional, who supported us throughout these three days, always with a smile. Thank you, Francesco and Inna.

04/04/2026: The food tonight was very good and deserves a 4 out of 5 points rating. However, the service was beyond good. In fact, it was excellent. Luigi was the sole waiter on the floor, and had to deal with 8-10 tables. He had to juggle the demands of multiple groups as such and did it very well. He made us feel welcome and served us promptly and expertly, despite the demands placed upon him during the 7:00 to 8:00 PM time slot. Great job Luigi!

11/04/2026: On Easter Monday, along with the €30 lunch menu, Ferrarelle and Sorgesana water was served in glass bottles, pre-opened. The same goes for the wine. This is because it clearly contained fountain water and bulk wine from who knows where?! You're almost out of luck; if you don't want to give bottled water, be honest and serve it in glass jugs. It's definitely a bad impression for a restaurant!!! 👎👎👎 👎👎👎

19/10/2025: I visited in October with my wife and one-year-old son. The service was professional and friendly, and they cooked my son the pasta we had brought from home. We had the gnocchi alla sorrentina, a pizza, and slow-cooked chicken. Everything was delicious, in a relaxing atmosphere right in the center of Sorrento. Highly recommended!

21/03/2026: I've already had a couple of takeout pizzas for lunch at this pizzeria, but this is the first time I've sat down. I have to admit, it's a delicious cartwheel pizza; the diavola is made with proper spicy salami, not strips or Neapolitan salami passed off as something else. I also recommend having the provola e pepe made in the shade; they have quality ingredients and flavors.

04/03/2026: A simple, welcoming, and clean pizzeria. Two excellent features. The pizza is truly delicious, typical Neapolitan. I had the Margherita with Agerola provola and pepper, and the table service was provided by a young lady who was extremely kind and attentive. From the greeting, to the table setting, to the order, and the many little touches we received. Very satisfied.

04/04/2026: ...of course, the sign of this pastry shop brings to mind the whole "mise en place" of the exuberant & baroque sweets typical of our city... babà (hypertrophic grandchildren of madeleines), "deliziose", "zuppette" (English up to a certain point... the dessert was created by the pastry chef of the Bourbon court for an English diplomat and the valet was told to bring "the English soup" hence the definition.) "Teste di moro" " sfogliate ricce" and "frolle" - our favorites. Again, the heart-stopping Christmas sweets like "roccocò" (with two convoluted, baroque-shaped "cs") and "mustaccioli" (the mustache has nothing to do with it; in ancient times, they were mixed with grape must; chocolate came later...)... These hard sweets are to the dentist what skis are to the orthopedist... Other Christmas sweets, "sapienze," "Divin'amore," "Santa Rosa" suggest the monasteries where they were created by nuns who, with gluttony, made up for the lack of anything else... And the pastiera, now purchased, of course at Easter, but also at Christmas... An ancestral sweet, without leavening, evolved from ancestors who celebrated Spring with the products - strictly sheep's ricotta, eggs, milk, wheat, candied fruit, herbs - of an agro-pastoral civilization..."...hic bis pecudes gravidae, bis pomis utilis arbores " (Bucolics) Personally, Scaturchio is linked to the "Ministerials" I brought to the bank at the end-of-year parties, to the "stock exchange" ladies who often, with patience and corporate spirit, forwarded my "orders".... We speak in the past tense because the COVID watershed and changing corporate logic have shaken the banking environment. Branch reductions, constant turnover, the requirement to use iPhones and various remote devices for many transactions have distanced the customer from the bank clerk. The memory of that small gesture of complicity that spanned a short distance like a bridge remains. Where bridges are built in peace and destroyed in war... few remember it... I still remember the words of Ivo Andric, who - in "The Bridge on the Drina" - describes the Mostar bridge. .." He looked like a seagull, petrified as it flew between the two banks of the river...! " The very table that brings the guests together is a bridge between them... P.S. Having reached a venerable age, I myself find myself "off-limits" to ministerial positions. To the urologist...! As time changes, so do we....
