13/06/2025: We had an amazing dining experience tonight. We decided on the tasting menu, and every course was a pleasure, well presented and very tasteful. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere, and the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout the evening.

10/06/2025: Qué joya absoluta de un restaurante. Al compararlo con nuestros restaurantes favoritos de Nueva York, Boston y Miami, supera las expectativas. La creatividad del chef en la interpretación de los favoritos y la creación de nuevas interpretaciones de pastas clásicas fue increíble. Después de un largo día de gira por Pompeya, esta era exactamente la comida que necesitábamos para terminar nuestra estancia. A unos 10-15 minutos a pie de la plaza principal, vale la pena!

Having become a loyal customer for years and a firm favourite with the owners, Symposium never disappoints! The girls are fantastic, and the staff is equally outstanding. You always feel at home, with the difference that here you're treated to a level of customer service that goes far beyond efficient service.

29/09/2025: My husband & I just returned from our wedding at Villa Antiche Mura and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. From the moment I began working with Michele & Claudia to plan, they were kind, responsive and helpful. They made the process so easy for me and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. The wedding itself was absolutely beautiful. They made us feel prioritized and at ease in what I thought would be a very stressful week. The wedding set up was exactly what I expected when I walked down the aisle, and our reception dinner was gorgeous. All of our guests were blown away by the views and the food. Thank you to the entire team there for making our day perfect!

12/05/2025: We recently had our wedding reception at Villa Antiche Mura, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The venue exceeded our expectations in every way, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to get married or host an event in Sorrento. Planning a wedding from England without a planner could have been daunting, but thanks to Michele and Claudia, the entire process was incredibly easy, smooth, and enjoyable. Their communication was 10/10—prompt, efficient, and attentive to the finest details of my requests. Michele was particularly patient as I navigated countless questions and requests when meeting him at the Villa in the days leading up to the wedding. His understanding and support alleviated any stress and reassured me that our day would be perfect, and it truly was! On the wedding day, Michele went above and beyond by arriving at the ceremony venue to assist with my dress preparation and help my bridal party. When my veil got stuck while walking down the aisle, he was right there, saving the day! The Villa itself is breathtaking, and our guests were blown away by the fabulous views. Many of them told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, a testament not only to the villa's beauty but also to the incredible team that makes it all possible. When my husband and I arrived at the villa, Michele greeted us with a refreshing glass of water—such a thoughtful gesture that showed his experience in handling weddings, especially in the heat. The decorations were set up perfectly, addressing my previous concerns as I personally transported all the decor from the UK. Every detail was executed flawlessly, even better than I could have achieved myself. We also booked the food through the Villa, and it was hands down the best we’ve ever tasted! As frequent diners at fine restaurants, we can confidently say the food at Villa Antiche Mura topped them all. The catering team even accommodated last-minute dietary requests from some of our guests without any fuss. The entertainment was phenomenal as well! We booked a band, a violinist, and a saxophonist through the villa, and they were incredibly talented. Our guests were thoroughly entertained throughout the entire day and evening, with many enjoying themselves so much that nobody left early! The entire team, especially Michele and Claudia, ensured that everything ran like clockwork. They thought of the little touches that made our day even more special, creating a seamless experience for us. Thank you so much to everyone at Villa Antiche Mura for your hard work and dedication in making our dream wedding come true! If you are considering a wedding venue, look no further—you will not be disappointed!

04/07/2025: Last day in Ischia Porto, happy choice to go to the Starace lido, Francesco very kind and thoughtful, clean beach and splendid sea! For lunch on the delightful terrace a tasty zingara and a bruschettone. with cherry tomatoes of their production and mozzarella, as they say in Naples "a fin do munn". Excellent quality and price ratio. Next holiday in Ischia a must.

01/09/2025: We were at this place, nothing short of fantastic. A true gem, a unique atmosphere! A real discovery! Fusion cuisine, Neapolitan and Oriental. The hotel's essentials, and the decor is all very tasteful. For our aperitif dinner, the chef treated us to individual courses for each guest, all exquisite and tasty. Accompanying it was a gin and tonic, which tasted amazing. A young and never boring cuisine. We will absolutely return. I highly recommend it. A special hug goes to the chef's uncle, who made us feel at home ❤️

11/08/2025: We dined at Nia Restaurant during the special menu evening and thoroughly enjoyed all the (many) courses! Their Japanese fusion cuisine perfectly blends Japanese flavors with a Neapolitan twist, creating original and delicious dishes. It's also perfect for those who have never tried Japanese cuisine but are finally looking to try it. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming... we'll definitely be back!

03/09/2025: I went to Perbacco restaurant to celebrate my birthday, having made arrangements in person three days before with the owner's son: €25 per person, drinks included. There were seven adults and five two-year-old children, who had already eaten at home and therefore wouldn't have any impact on the cost. From the moment we arrived, however, the owner's attitude ruined the atmosphere: constant dirty looks, arrogant comments, and barely concealed annoyance at the mere presence of the children. It almost seemed as if in this restaurant, children are seen as a nuisance and not a natural part of many families' lives. I had even brought a cake to make the final moment of the evening special, but the stress and total lack of hospitality convinced me to take it back and go home. A birthday that should have been a beautiful and peaceful memory turned into a bittersweet evening. To make matters worse, the bill didn't quite live up to the agreement: drinks, which were supposed to be included, were charged separately, despite the ridiculous amount consumed (six beers for seven adults, with some of us teetotalers). This is a disreputable behavior that gives the impression of a lack of clarity, if not of propriety. If you don't like the presence of children, a sign at the entrance would suffice: "No families allowed." That would be more sincere than ruining a special occasion with bad humor and rudeness. What's missing here isn't the food, but something far more important: empathy, politeness, and the true art of hospitality. As for me, I will never set foot in this place again. And I thank Perbacco for making a day I wanted to remember with joy so horrible.

30/08/2025: We were in this restaurant during our holiday, the owners were very kind and friendly, the pizza was excellent, as were the pasta and appetizers, everything very authentic and good!

22/09/2025: We had dinner on September 13, 2025. The fresh fish was excellent, as was the value for money. We had been there in the spring, and now, on our way to Naples, we couldn't miss it. I had the super special sautéed mussels and clams, etc. The staff was friendly and very professional. Greetings to everyone from Perugia.

04/10/2025: Reply to your response of my Sept 25 2 out of 5 Trip Advisor review. 'Your response is disappointing and is an attempt to white wash. It is a fudge of the truth and effectively is confirmation for me of the accuracy of the points I made in my review. I reject the water came in through the balcony door. There was no water initially on that side of the room. It gathered on the other side and spread out. You confirmed in your response that there was no issue with the balcony door and then looked to blame us for the problem! Absolutely unprofessional and low class, confirmed by you ignoring in your response that nothing was done by that hotel to acknowledge our room had badly flooded. We had been denied access to our room for over 2 and half hours when we checked in the previous day as we were told the floor was wet! This further suggests you have a problem with that room. To generate steam you need very hot water. This very hot water was running down the wall and pooling at the entrance as the drain was not dealing with it. My wife stepped into it. FACT. Instead of acknowledging the fault, you fudge your response and basically say your 'certified technician' fixed the problem! Unprofessional. You provide a shuttle to the nearest place of activity from your quite isolated hotel. About 3km from the ferry terminal. Collecting from and dropping to the ferry your €800 per night guests for a 20sqm room, would enhance their sense of hospitality as opposed to abandoning them to the island's taxi Mafiosa! The wine was not measured. It was poured from the bottle into my glass. It was a local island wine, not a Super Tuscan! You are writing nonsense about 'official Italian restaurant and bar regulations' to again fudge your response, which I consider to be very unprofessional.I was charged €20 for approx 50 to 60cl of a glass. A complete rip off that the waiter said was the amount determined by the owner. Shockingly mean. Neither my wife or I found any prepared fruit for a fruit salad. In every hotel we stay in we start our breakfast with it. Both of us looked for it and could find none. Nor did we see anyone else with or eating a fruit salad! Unfortunately, your response to my 2 out of 5 rating, confirms its correctness'

29/09/2025: Loved my stay here- it was definitely really nice!! The rooms have amazing amenities and the service is top notch- everyone who works here is fantastic. The only thing is we really wanted to go to the boutique but it was never opened when we tried to go (even when it was within the hours) and some things were randomly very high priced.. for example when we got a $15 salad for lunch and asked if we could add chicken to it and they said yes and brought chicken on it but when the bill came it was a $26 chicken entree that was charged. I feel like that should’ve been made clear because normally adding chicken to a salad would not be twice the price of the salad. Also I don’t recommend going to the beach club that they have a partnership with- it was not nearly as nice as the hotel, so much so that we left right when we got there. All in all it was a beautiful hotel and I recommend it!
