27/06/2024: Cozy and quiet place, very kind owner, excellent homemade food.. the prices are average value for money.... In my opinion only a little disappointed for the cost per person of the starter of 16 euros, very good but you could have pay one for two....

19/06/2024: It's a wonderful surprise, we came across this Osteria by chance, attracted by excellent reviews, but the reality far exceeded expectations. Quality food, excellent meat and perfect cooking. The staff is friendly and competent, never intrusive. I recommend it and we will definitely return.

23/08/2024: Metti una serata tranquilla .posto accogliente,personale gentile,servizio veloce,rapporti buonissimo qualità prezZo.abbuamo preso 2 antipasti completi buonissimi,due impepate di cozze eccellenti,una frittura gamberi e calamari notevole,porzioni abbondanti,tutti accompagnato da acqua e brocca vino bianco. Compreso servizio 75 euro tutto. Che dire la serata è andata più che bene

17/08/2024: Un ristorante delizioso con personale delizioso e cibo veramente ottimo. Abbiamo iniziato con degli antipasti che ci hanno lasciato letteralmente estasiati.La mozzarella di bufala con gamberi al suo interno davvero favolosa e le alici fritte con stracciatella fenomenali.Abbiamo preso delle linguine ai frutti di mare ottimi e una frittura di pesce perfetta,eccellente anche il soutè di cozze.Due calici di vino bianco,acqua per un totale di €60,00.Che dire…perfetto tutto.Ci torneremo sicuramente ❤️

13/06/2024: An incredible place! Beautiful interior and staff. Super tasty starters. The steak is simply unforgettable. The tastiest we've ever tasted! The wine offered by the waiter went very well with the meat! We really wanted teramisa, but they didn't have it on the menu, but they prepared it for us! Pleasantly! 🤍Excellent service and very friendly staff. They speak English easily. Very attentive. We recommend it to everyone. We will definitely come back!

The place is very elegant, the welcome is the flagship and the expert hands of the Chef will be able to make you live a unique experience, the products are of great quality, but above all the care, commitment and love, they are the secret ingredients that make your lunch or dinner even more special. Without forgetting that the entire lunch was accompanied by excellent wines and finally yet another magic you will taste amazing desserts, created by the pastry chef Gianpiero Erba. A piece of advice, if you want to dream for a day, go to MALife for lunch or dinner, it will be a magical emotion.

06/01/2024: It is a special skill to make strangers feel welcome as if they have dropped by in their usual bar on their way home.. cocktails were absolutely divine.. my whisky sour passion fruit variation was incredible.. hope you will still be open when we are next time in Napoli..

10/07/2024: Vicino a dove alloggiavo , locale molto carino all interno , ben apparecchiato e accogliente . Carne ottima , patate al forno ni, per il resto ottima atmosfera con musica di sottofondo , calice di vino rosso aperto al calice di ottima qualità . Quando sarò di nuovo a Napoli tornerò :)

Even more important note: recommended especially for celiacs and those intolerant to gluten. In fact, any dish on the menu can be repeated in the gluten-free formula. Price absolutely normal and suitable for what is consumed.

10/07/2024: Styr unna. Låst når vi kom, måtte ringe på klokke. Manglet mye: olje til brød, salt/ pepper. Liten meny. Mat langt under pari. Dessverre meget dårlig opplevelse. Men vinen var god.

30/07/2024: Every July 29th, my wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary at the Caruso restaurant of the Grand Hotel Vesuvio, a place that has become an unmissable tradition for us. Describing the location is difficult except through photos which capture the magic of this wonderful place, directly overlooking the Castel dell'Ovo, one of the most fascinating places in Naples. The view is simply breathtaking and helps make the experience even more special. The location is modern, warm and elegantly furnished. However, what made this dinner truly special was the menu created by the new starred chef, who collaborates with the restaurant's historic chef. The dishes, already excellent, were further improved, and each course was able to surprise us with refined flavors and new combinations. We started the evening with a Franciacorta aperitif, followed by a Cervaro della Sala Chardonnay wine. As appetizers, we enjoyed a raw prawn, squid and potato dish, and a revisited Caprese salad. The lemon and sea urchin gnocchi were a sublime first course, while the crusted sea bream for two was the perfect choice for the second course. Between one course and another, the chef delighted us with small culinary surprises that added a touch of magic to the evening. Particular praise goes to the impeccable service of Salvatore and all his staff. They were attentive to our every need, ensuring our glass was never empty and the table was always clean. The timing in serving the dishes was perfect, allowing us to enjoy each course without rushing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I will certainly continue to repeat over the years with my wife. The surrounding environment and the other customers also contributed to creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, completing an unforgettable evening.

29/07/2024: Ogni 29 luglio, io e mia moglie celebriamo il nostro anniversario di matrimonio al ristorante Caruso del Grand Hotel Vesuvio, un luogo che è diventato per noi una tradizione irrinunciabile. Descrivere la location è difficile se non attraverso le foto che catturano la magia di questo posto meraviglioso, affacciato direttamente sul Castel dell’Ovo, uno dei luoghi più affascinanti di Napoli. La vista è semplicemente mozzafiato e contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza ancora più speciale. La location è moderna, calda ed elegantemente arredata. Tuttavia, ciò che ha reso davvero speciale questa cena è stato il menu creato dal nuovo chef stellato, che collabora con lo storico chef del ristorante. I piatti, già eccellenti, sono stati ulteriormente migliorati, e ogni portata ha saputo sorprenderci con sapori raffinati e abbinamenti inediti. Abbiamo iniziato la serata con un aperitivo Franciacorta, seguito da un vino Chardonnay Cervaro della Sala. Come antipasti, abbiamo gustato un crudo di gamberi, totani e patate, e una insalata caprese rivisitata. Gli gnocchi al limone e ricci sono stati un primo piatto sublime, mentre l’orata in crosta per due è stata la scelta perfetta per il secondo. Tra una portata e l’altra, lo chef ci ha deliziato con piccole sorprese culinarie che hanno aggiunto un tocco di magia alla serata. Un plauso particolare va al servizio impeccabile di Salvatore e tutto il suo staff. Sono stati attenti a ogni nostra esigenza, garantendo che il nostro bicchiere non fosse mai vuoto e che il tavolo fosse sempre pulito. Il tempismo nel servire i piatti è stato perfetto, permettendoci di gustare ogni portata senza fretta. In generale, è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa che sicuramente continuerò a ripetere negli anni con mia moglie. Anche l’ambiente circostante e gli altri clienti hanno contribuito a creare un’atmosfera piacevole e rilassata, completando una serata indimenticabile.
