It's a shame I can only give it 5 stars. We went for pizza at Varnelli (after trying 5 other pizzerias in the previous few days) and were disappointed not to be able to return, given that it was our last day in Pompeii. The restaurant is very well-kept, even refined; the staff is worthy of the establishment and is courteous and competent. The pizzas we ordered seemed the best of all those we'd tried at previous restaurants and, although we found it incredible, they were also less expensive. The various desserts we ordered were beautifully presented and were excellent in every way. It's worth noting that there is reserved parking. I don't want to sound like a flatterer, but we all thought it was a more than excellent restaurant.

Amazing experience here! Our waiter was named Salvatore (Savior). He made our experience 10/10 with all of his recommendations! We got local wine that was delicious and a fun experience watching him pour the wine in the decanter and serving us. Pizza was delicious! Thank you for an amazing dinner for our Pompeii night! :))

06/05/2026: The boutique hotel is located on the opposite side of the port and Square. Took the funicular Up. Wandered through the Square at the top and down the other side a small ways to the hotel. Very nice check in staff with a welcoming drink while we waited for our rooms. A wonderful waitstaff! Clean and modern rooms. The breakfast was included and had both a buffet of breads, cheeses, fruits etc and on top of that we ordered omelettes and hot items from the open, view kitchen! Very nice touch.
06/05/2026: The location on Capri is fantastic. Breakfast was also great, and all the staff were very friendly. I deducted one star because it was very noisy at night/early morning (my room faced the street/path), and dinner was okay, but too expensive.

13/01/2026: We had lunch at this trattoria on New Year's Day, and just walking in, we knew we'd have a great time. The staff were incredibly friendly, all the waiters were warmly welcoming, and the place was small and very cozy, yet busy and not noisy. In short, we were impressed at first glance. The menu features traditional Neapolitan cuisine. We tried their ragù, Genovese, and Nerano, and even a potato and provola appetizer was kindly provided by the house! For starters, there was a mixed six-course meal that included parmigiana, meatballs in tomato sauce, and other delicious appetizers. Everything was truly delicious, accompanied by unforgettable bread that we thoroughly mopped up. For dessert, the lemon tart was delicious! We spent €100 for four of us and were thrilled. Outside, there was a never-ending line to get in; it's best to book because it's incredibly popular. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Naples.
