16/02/2026: A fantastic stop on the way from Florence to Rome. Osteria del Gusto, in San Giovanni, has delicious food and incredibly friendly service, especially Rafi, who took excellent care of us. We went with three children, and everything was so easy.
The linguine all'imperiale is spectacular, some of the best I've ever had. The spaghetti carbonara and tortellini al pesto are also very good, and the artichokes and fried fish are delicious as starters.
It's right in the town center and easily accessible from the Autostrada del Sole. Excellent value for money and top-notch service.
Highly recommended.
07/01/2026: Went tonight to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday... Nice, kind, and professional lady... all fish, excellent food, but also two starters that were amazing in terms of quality and quantity... all at a great price... I will definitely be back and I recommend it to all of you too...

15/03/2026: As soon as we arrived, Francesca greeted us and took care of our coats. We then entered a large room with warm lighting and colors that gave the place a welcoming and warm feeling, enhanced by the impeccable kindness of the wait staff.
We ate very well; I highly recommend the butter ravioli, their classic dish; once you try it, you'll understand why.
Lunch was a true treat in every way, definitely worth repeating.

09/11/2025: This inn was a gem on our trip to discover Tuscany. It immediately strikes you with its location, its breathtaking view, and the tranquility that reigns.
The staff was super kind and helpful, suggesting modifications to the dishes to make them vegetarian-friendly. The flavors are authentic and homey, the dishes are seasonal, and the produce comes from the garden. The entrée and first courses were exceptional, as were the desserts, accompanied by coffee from the moka pot.

24/10/2025: 10/10 experience in Tuscany. This was the highlight of our recent trip to Italy. Alessandro and his family were so lovely. He is an amazing storyteller, a kind human, and so much fun to be around. We loved learning how to make homemade pasta, tiramisu and some other delicious Tuscan food. We had the most wonderful day with Alessandro and the other guests, the food and wine were delicious, and this is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!!!

Andrea greeted us and explained the lunch menu.
We opted for the à la carte menu and didn't regret it.
The service was efficient, punctual, and courteous.
We'll be back.
23/03/2026: A lovely restaurant with a wonderfully inclusive service. Dishes are carefully prepared and portions are just right. I had the taragna polenta with porcini mushrooms and it was delicious.

15/11/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for years. I've never been disappointed. The new winter menu is amazing. We had the lampredotto-stuffed zonzelle as an appetizer, which I think is phenomenal, followed by the saffron risotto with osso buco reduction, which left me speechless.
06/11/2025: The only flaw is that a pizza needs improvement, it's like eating a piadina. Honestly, there are much better pizzerias in the area and the prices for a Margherita are exaggerated: €10.

31/03/2026: The restaurant is part of a historic building that also houses the Hiberia Hotel, where we stayed on Sunday, March 30. It's very convenient because you can access it directly from the hotel; you walk downstairs from your room and into the restaurant. The staff is young and helpful, and the service is fast. One tonnarello cacio e pepe, one gnocco with four cheeses, one marinated salmon with artichokes and oranges. For the main course, a chicken cutlet with fries, a grilled vegetable platter, and a tuna steak with black sesame seeds. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of white wine from Castelli Romani. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff and quick service.
Some dishes are interesting and elaborate, both in presentation and preparation, while some options don't justify the price: €13 for a late-season radicchio dish with four pine nuts and a mousse is too much.
Bread is not included, but it could easily be included in the €3 cover charge.
The table setting lacks some attention: a runner or placemat would be appreciated to avoid having to put bread on the table. The desserts are excellent!

Chef Pierre is a wonderful person, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer excellent advice.
The quality of the ingredients was undeniable, and the preparation was on par with the best restaurants. The pairings and plating were the result of careful study and great skill.
I will definitely be back.
