We visited this restaurant in October. I made a reservation by telephone, but then the connection was disconnected and I immediately received a text message asking if I wanted to make a reservation. Worked fine. It's like you're sitting in a living room. Service was very correct and good communication, perfect English. Mix of tourists and Italians. Pasta dishes very tasty and portions large enough. Pizzas had a very thin base, I prefer a thicker base.

The Ristorante Triocco gave us the impression of a real hustle and bustle days beforehand, because in the entrance area there were stacks of oddities such as a 1.5 meter high cake stand on which a lot of spray bottles were stored, which were somehow reminiscent of pool cleaning. Next to it are a few sun-bleached pink plastic drink crates and next to it a messy table that is somehow out of place. All of this is right next to the entrance and opposite the inviting terrace. Strange, but the Google reviews were overwhelming. Rightly so. The Rummelsbude turned out to be a place with very, very good food, attentive service and a nice atmosphere (as long as you didn't have to look at the entrance area). Our meal started with a greeting from the kitchen, which gave us an idea that something delicious was about to be served. Without going into too much detail, all the dishes were excellent. However, I would like to highlight the fillet steak, which was finally ordered rare, arrived rare and was so tender that a knife was actually not necessary. Add a red wine sauce to the hat. So the surprise was really successful. In addition to the hype at the entrance (this was pointed out when the invoice was issued), the only point of criticism at a very high level would be that the food came suspiciously quickly. But that can also be a matter of taste. Incidentally, the wine was “okay” for its price - if you want to save some money, leave it out and then the evening is even affordable and this results in a really excellent price-performance ratio with very nice service!

The food is really very good. The staff are very polite and very friendly. Well done, well done, well done.

The good tasting pizza seemed to have little leavening or it had not been rolled out by hand but with the rolling out machine which is not very suitable for a good quality pizzeria like this.

Gaia è un raggio di sole dentro al locale saprà soddisfare ogni vostra richiesta 🥰 Consigliato? Consigliatissimo quando si sosta per un paio di giorni qui a Barberino la tappa è d’obbligo!!!
