05/07/2025: Returned a year later I confirm everything ... unique place in the area! There are also new dishes .. delicious! My advice: let the chef guide you .. he will know how to make you live a special experience! FANTASTIC, The best restaurant tried this year between Versilia and Milan. They had always spoken well of this restaurant but we had never found a place. This time we moved well in advance (mid-June to book in August). Young, polite, precise and prepared staff. Upon arrival they offer an aperitif with personalized cocktail and delicious tastings. Then the Chef comes by, unique. Never seen such service in any starred restaurant. He is friendly, easy-going and speaks with each table to choose the menu together based on the tastes of the diners. We opted for a 6-course tasting with lots of raw fish but also meat to finish (and it was worth it). What can I say, everything is exceptional. Excellent wine list without excessive markups. Focaccina, breadsticks and warm bread all to be tasted. Correct quality-price ratio. Perfect for an evening with your partner. I absolutely recommend doing a tasting and giving the chef free rein.. you won't regret it

01/07/2025: -Hic manebimus optime- Last night, on the advice of friends we tried 'la martinica' As soon as we arrived, Francesco, the chef, introduced himself by exchanging a short chat where he was able to understand our tastes and preferences. We opted for the 8-course menu and we did not regret it at all. The menu, mainly fish, left us speechless at every course, excellent quality food and raw materials worked by professionals! During dinner, the chef joined us with great interest in the progress of the evening, a very positive note as far as I'm concerned. The service was impeccable, attentive, friendly and refined. The location, very well-kept and welcoming. The dinner was accompanied by the pleasant sound of the waterfall adjacent to the restaurant. Francesco and his staff deserve the right recognition that I'm sure will come! ⭐️ I recommend it to those who, in addition to eating, want to have an experience that will carry with them for a while. The price is more than fair for the culinary qualities of the restaurant. The fish is spectacular as are the pairings that accompany it, the pastries are truly sublime but the highlight, for me, is the closing of the menu with the bison, a truly extraordinary flavor! Yes, we had a really great time here. See you soon!

30/05/2025: Small place with a lot of choice (we were looking for a mix of gastronomy and we found it). Everything was delicious, and the service was very kind. Excellent value for money (for two we paid 25 euros for a mix of meat and vegetables accompanied by two glasses of wine).

10/06/2025: Unique and superlative experience, I requested the Manos Libres menu which turned out to be an incredible journey of flavors, colors and shades. The combinations, the contrasts, from appetizers to desserts, everything was taken care of with mastery and art. During the reservation phase I reported some dietary needs that the chef managed superbly. The wine pairings were perfect, the dining room staff worked in a close-knit and professional manner demonstrating great hospitality, friendliness and skill. Highly recommended, thanks for everything.

01/07/2025: The best eggplant parmigiana I’ve ever had in my life (coming from a vegetarian who always orders this dish everywhere). The family who owns the place is so sweet. We went for lunch and dinner (it was that good), and neither disappointed. Their house wine selection was also delicious (we tried all of them), and the atmosphere is exactly what you would wish a place like this to look like. I can’t wait to go back. 13/04/2025: This evening I had the pleasure of having a nice dinner with my friends. The atmosphere was already warm as soon as we entered, the waiters and all the staff were on point, the wine glass was never empty from starter to dessert. We left with a bang! a slightly bland salmon but with a touch of salt had its own reason, polenta and creamed cod at the top of formula one and the scallop with leek cream transported us to the oceanic world. The mushrooms had a slight risotto flavor but were very good (Giulia loved them). The tagliolini were evidently the strong point, too bad my friend drank too much and acted silly, consequently she couldn't appreciate the porosity of the octopus. As for the second courses, they were real gems, the crab was a little uncomfortable to eat but when you tasted that little bit of pulp it was incontrovertibly an explosion of flavours, Giulia really liked the clams. The grilled prawns ended up a bit on the carpet, but really, really good. Between one cigarette and another the wine glass was constantly refilled and we really appreciated it. The dessert was a very original contrast of flavors, the freshness of the cream was an oxymoron with the warmth of the berries (almost exciting!), we appreciated the biscuit. When we thought we had finished (now full) it was time for the grappa, I recommend the combination of ginger and gogi berries if you want to appreciate even more the magic show proposed to the diners (I highly recommend going to the bathroom before it starts). Still not happy, we took the tour of the cellars, it was a pity that Marino was not there to explain to us about his friendship with Putin, on the other hand the grappas had a strong and pleasant flavor to finish the dinner. Final bill a little salty (80 pleura per person) BUT I must say well spent, we also identified in the maitre (very nice) a notable ability in taking photos and available to bring back the cell phone forgotten by our friend Pierbazzani on the table Highly recommended to all the inhabitants of the area and surrounding areas. I recommend that you don't let the driver drink.

24/05/2025: Absolutely to try if you love eating meat..and you will surely return! The tartares are varied and tasty, as well as the meat sushi and the carpaccios, delicate and tasty. There is a wide choice among the satisfying variety of meat courses, all well-prepared and with refined combinations of sauces and excellent quality food. The staff is very kind, the service fast and the environment welcoming. Among the best places in Rome, where you can eat meat, for me it is definitely number one!

16/06/2025: Had lunch here with friends didn't know much about the place before my visit as was booked by friends. I got a little shock when I heard the menu was a surprise but it was an amazing experience. We had 5 different courses and each one was as spectacular as the next. The host was the sweetest woman who does all the cooking along with two other women. You can see straight into the kitchen from your table and she explains what each course is as it's brought out. The decor in the restaurant was stunning and it was by far my best food experience in many years. I would most definitely return and I highly recommend anyone to try it as it's a unique experience with amazing food.

16/06/2025: Chef Sabina, squeezed us in last minute - we got to sit at the bar and watch them work their magic. It is alittle daunting not knowing what you will be eating - but “fortune favours the brave” the best meal we have had on our trip to Lake Orta. Sublime, beautifully presented dishes, a taste sensation. Would highly recommend, and suggest booking in advance

A big respect for the consistently good kitchen and talented Carmine This will be the best food you’ll have on the island for sure!

18/06/2025: Pleasant surprise. This is how I can summarize this experience at the Duilio restaurant after so many years since my last time there, of which I don't remember anything. Very beautiful location with tables that offer a beautiful view, very relaxing atmosphere with background music that mixes with the sound of the sea. Impeccable service, courteous, polite, attentive, easy-going but not intrusive. The menu is one of those that you can read until the end, offering the right choice for all tastes without oddities or combinations to amaze. Excellent octopus with potatoes and mussels with pepper. Perfect fried shrimp and calamari and equally excellent pasta with amberjack sauce and cherry tomatoes. The grilled aubergines were very good, as were the desserts (tiramisu, lemon delight and ricotta and pears). To finish, a very good homemade medlar liqueur. All the dishes were well presented but in a simple, clean way without unnecessary frills.
