04/04/2026: Our first day 4/2/26 happened to pass by because the restaurant interior looked beautiful and design to give it a try and the service and food turned out to be absolutely the best. not sure whats my server name but him and his help did the great Job. great first impression of Rome. Today is my last staying at Rome and I think its by far the best overall meal experience

02/04/2026: A beautiful restaurant with new management. The pasta is excellent, and above all, the service is top-notch. Silvio is very helpful and always attentive, which really makes a difference. The tiramisu is made fresh to order—a true delight! And the coffee… truly Italian, just the way we like it. Highly recommended.

06/04/2026: This was my third trip to Livigno but the first time that my family came with. The Mota hotel has a boutique feel and is in an excellent location - close to shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and the spa area is a wonderful experience after a day out on the slopes. We found all staff to be very helpful, well trained and super friendly. Although the hotel is not really a ski in/out, it is on the edge of the slope just in front of the yellow gondola and Max ski hire and ski school which is very convenient especially since this was my daughters’ first time in the snow. You do however have to walk onto and off the slopes but it is close enough not to be a pain. Getting to the Motolino side does need a short bus trip and since we wore comfortable snow board boots versus the clunky ski boots, the walk to and from the bus stop was not too bad. We had a wonderful family holiday in Livigno and would love to go back. The Mota Hotel will be a definite consideration for our next stay.

27/10/2025: Our last night…and could not have chosen a more perfect place – probably our overall best dining experience! Arrived before sunset (reservations a must, due to a cozy, intimate dining area) and immediately welcomed by the vivacious Alessia. Along with her aunt and another young lady, they treated us with such hospitality and service that we perhaps spent more time in conversation with them then among ourselves. To listen to their stories of their history and that of the restaurant, dating back some 80-years, made us feel we were having dinner in their home. Add the fact that the atmosphere is set on an elevated covered terrace, with direct views of Amalfi…as the sun set and the lights of Amalfi began to come on, no words can fully describe!!! Group of 8 adults, so we had a chance to try a variety of menu items…the grilled fish, Pasta al Limone (outstanding and so unique to Amalfi), smoked Scamorza cheese in lemon leaves and my favorite, the Tris di Marinati - marinated tuna, swordfish & anchovies. EVERYTHING we had was among the best we had among all the other restaurants during our visit! The perfect ending to our meal…as we came off the elevator to the street below, we were personally greeted by Nicola, the grandfather who began it all!

05/04/2026: The food and presentation were excellent, the setting particularly elegant and beautiful, but the service staff stood out. With particular kindness and high professionalism, they guided us in choosing the most suitable menu for our dinner, considering that at midday, we had eaten a frugal meal elsewhere that hadn't been well digested. THANKS AGAIN TO THE ABOVE-MENTIONED GENTLEMEN AND HAPPY EASTER!

26/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the center of Lucca But not just beautiful, like many restaurants in the center of Lucca. The food is exquisite, and the service is very attentive, as you'd expect from certain restaurants where expectations are high. Expectations were met, excellent quality food, a well-stocked and fresh menu, and an excellent wine cellar. Really attentive service, attentive and professional waiters. The price is a bit high, but justified. I'll definitely be back.

The food was excellent, the owner was friendly and helpful, and the place was truly charming. After the owner explained the dishes, we chose two typical Ligurian appetizers, delicious! Then a tuna steak, perfectly cooked. Fair prices, good food, and friendly service. Well done, congratulations!
