11/09/2025: Very tasty steaks made from high-quality meat. I suspect the burgers are equally good. The atmosphere is pleasant, more pub-like than restaurant-like. The waitress, who serves the entire place single-handedly, is also noteworthy – she's very polite and always smiling. You might have to wait a bit for your food, but it's worth it. I recommend checking it out if you're in Olbia.

02/09/2025: A little gem. Even though it is right in the middle of all of Castelmola, it is quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic view of the mainland. The host couple are extremely friendly and happy to tell you about things. The food was lovely and fresh. Wine was lovely in half and full liters. All in all a fantastic experience

01/09/2025: During our three-day stay in Castelmola, we had breakfast here every day and can wholeheartedly recommend it. We've rarely met such a friendly, unobtrusive, and helpful owner. The food is simple but truly delicious. There are great savory paninis and sandwiches, and a fantastic granita with brioche. We'd love to come back, and a visit to PierdeCat is a must during any stay in Castelmola!

05/09/2025: The restaurant is located in a quaint and meticulously maintained setting, with an intimate and refined atmosphere. The menu features traditional dishes from the lower Salento region, such as stuffed eggplant, spaghetti with turnips, municheddhe (land snails), and paparina, as well as an excellent selection of dry-aged meats. All the vegetables and greens used come from the owner's garden, and this truly makes a difference on the palate. In short, Chiostro degli Scolopi is an essential stop for anyone wishing to experience the flavors of Salento's tradition.

04/09/2025: We had dinner two nights ago. Antonio welcomed us into a familiar yet unpretentious atmosphere. The restaurant is housed in a former convent, with outdoor tables overlooking the cloister, but we ended up taking a tour of the interior, which is well worth a visit. The food was simple but high-quality, with great attention to the ingredients; it was tasty and delicious. The service was friendly but never intrusive. Antonio was very cheerful, friendly, and discreet. Highly recommended.

A wonderful and characteristic place right in the center of Sorrento, where you can savor traditional dishes (superlative gnocchi) and the charming atmosphere of the peninsula, further enhanced by a jovial guitarist playing among the tables. Not to mention the service and the waiters, all super kind, smiling, and helpful. My stroller, which we had folded in a corner, slipped on the floor, and the waiter noticed it and took care to put it away next to a chair. A pleasant experience and good food.

19/08/2025: La Lanterna is a gem amongst the lovely little back streets of Sorrento. We ate here two out of four nights and wished we found it earlier in the holiday. The pizzas, pasta carbonara and seafood platter were delicious. The service was excellent, all staff were so friendly and the live entertainment was superb!

05/09/2025: Beautiful place that offers an extraordinary culinary experience. Luigi is a fantastic person. They teach you from A to Z how to make pizza and ravioli. The whole thing ends with you eating what you've created. I highly recommend this experience. If you haven't tried it here, where else can you try it?

10/09/2025: A small but fine restaurant with a small but very good menu. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful at all times. We each ordered primi and secondi. The pasta was exceptional and excellent. The secondi was, as stated on the menu, cold, tasty, but a bit unusual for us. On our next visit, which will definitely happen, we will stick to antipasti and primi. Also worth mentioning is the very extensive wine list. La Botteghina is highly recommended.

08/07/2025: It's very fitting finale to 4 weeks of a food n walking holiday from Athens to Bologna that I finish on a high with one of the best lunches in 5 countries. The octopus n mixed grilled veges, all chilled, is indescribably enjoyable with a chilled glass of the local white that was offered. The nicest thing is that I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant walking back to my home stay undecided about lunch n quite prepared to forego it altogether. I love that you pay for as much or as little as u pick. WUPIWUP? a win win for both customers as well as the House.
