It should be noted that in addition to the restaurant, there are rooms available and the sale of products they produce such as the famous "Castelmagno" cheese (available in different ages) and the "Genepy" liqueur.

02/02/2025: 5 star service. Everyone puts a lot of effort into their work. The food is good and quality. You can choose different tasting plans where you can try a little bit of everything. The price is reasonable for a seafood restaurant. Location is cozy, plates and glasses are very nice. From the outside (from the street) however, it does not look like a restaurant, so don't let that confuse you.

27/01/2025: Locale Spazioso, pulto e raffinato con ottimo servizio al tavolo. Ho pranzato domenica scorsa e posso dire che ho sentito la freschezza e bontà degli ingredienti a base di pesce negli antipasti. Anche se troppo elaborati con quel sapore agrodolce stile nordico, che a mio avviso non fa parte della cucina italiana del pesce. Ho preso 2 primi chiamati melanina che consistevano nel proporre lo spaghetto fatto in casa con il nero di seppia (con seppioline e simili) e una burratina di contorno del piatto. Si sentiva la pasta ben cucinata e fresca, ma non mi è assolutamente piaciuto ed ho lasciato metà piatto. Ho sbagliato a chiedere quel piatto perchè altro sicuramente l'avrei gradito. Abbiamo ordinato il sorbetto di agrumi che conferma la professionalità del ristorante. Posso dire di aver fatto una buona esperienza e che ci tornerei ordinando altri primi tranne quello suddetto.

11/02/2025: Ristorante elegante, che frequento da tempo trovandolo in ogni occasione molto accogliente. Sempre curata la mise en place. Menu’ ricco di proposte dall’antipasto al dessert. Ottima cucina, soprattutto tradizionale , sia per le materie prime usate, sia per la presentazione delle portate. Personale gentile molto attento alle esigenze del cliente.

26/01/2025: Excellent lunch, strong and tasty dishes, very good first courses, I would even say refined, fried food that deserves a lot of attention, like other dishes taken from the group I delighted with here at Franco's. The desserts are very sought after, mostly made by them and tasty. Not least the service, Franco could take care of the customer and accompanies him on this culinary journey.

26/01/2025: We had never been here but it seemed like a nice place so we thought (badly) of organizing a birthday dinner with ten people. Fairly good food, not very generous portions, exaggerated prices. Example: a plate of panissa 17 euros (plus a three euro supplement because we asked to divide it into two plates) 4 euros per person, 30 euros to cut the cake that we brought (the cutting of the cake itself cost more), without asking us they made us find water on the table and charged it to us. When it was time to pay we were presented with a hand-scrawled invoice with the total and told us to make do on our own to divide the amount between us. After half an hour with the menu in hand trying to understand who had to pay what, we asked for separate accounts so they took the total and divided it by ten (so we were capable too) so we found ourselves with a bill of 45 euros each and someone had only consumed a first course and a glass of water. Some of us didn't have enough cash but the manager informed us that they had already deactivated the POS They definitely won't see us again, people like that deserve to close.

19/02/2025: Historic family-run restaurant that has always been run by Florentines who have passed down the tradition of attentive and cordial catering and hospitality in a setting where the mural by the famous painter Annigoni constitutes a pleasant artistic accompaniment for the guests in the main room. Typical Tuscan food with well-made reinterpretations and top-quality ingredients at prices in line with the service.

17/02/2025: Ristorante Natalino was recommended by a local, and it did not disappoint. We tried the T-bone steak for two, and it was perfectly cooked. We couldn't even finish it! I loved it

I had the pleasure of tasting the stuffed gnocchi, a well-balanced dish, with an authentic flavor and a perfect consistency. Next, the Angus Florentine: simply exceptional. Meat cooked to perfection, succulent and rich in flavor, to leave you speechless. The environment is comfortable, welcoming, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The staff is a real strong point: helpful and friendly, they add that touch of human warmth that makes the experience even more pleasant. In summary, at Cantinon you eat very well and spend time in a relaxed and genuine environment. I recommend it to those looking for a mix of traditional cuisine and authentic hospitality. A truly perfect evening!

The Trattoria “Al Cantinon” undoubtedly belongs to this second category, offering a dive into the past where time seems to have stopped.
