06/01/2025: Passing through Neive in a camper, with my wife Marisa who already knew Massimo Rivetti's company, we stopped for a tasting. Mrs. Silvana and her son Andrea described their wines and the work in their company to us with professionalism and passion. A truly satisfying experience of aromas and flavors, in a truly pleasant environment that we would like to repeat as soon as possible.

01/12/2024: Had the most INCREDIBLE experience here with Diana. She was so kind and knowledgeable- the best part of our Alba region visit. 12/10 recommendation to visit this winery wine shop, you will not be disappointed. Thank you again, Diana!

08/02/2025: A truly exciting place, the Saturday night show with the hostess takes us back in time, to an Italy of smoky sweet dreams (she is truly amazing). Impeccable service, shame about the food, we ate a seafood panzanella that was good overall, but the seafood risotto they brought us was cold, overcooked and inedible. My advice is to go to the club and enjoy the show in front of pretzels and cocktails (these are truly excellent). I can't say the prices because I was invited to a friend's birthday party. However, worth trying at least once in your life.

23/01/2025: Friendly service, especially in the evening, except for the owner/manager who often interacts with customers with an indelicacy and arrogance tolerable only for a small suburban restaurateur. I was a customer of the L'Orchidea restaurant and I have been a customer, for years, together with my family, of the La Cantina di Dante restaurant, however noticing, over the years, a significant decline in the general quality of the dishes served. Due to the grumpy and unprofessional attitude of the restaurateur I decided not to go back again. The dishes are often prepared and of good quality, but I found some preparations, especially some first courses, unnecessarily elaborate to the detriment of the relationship between simplicity and good taste that one would expect from a Roman restaurant or trattoria. It is certainly not a starred restaurant, but little more than a trattoria close to a local market in the popular Centocelle neighbourhood. I conclude the review by pointing out to readers that what other customers have reported regarding the unhappy interactions with the restaurateur is, alas, true. P.S. The unpleasant episode that led me to write this review dates back more than a few months ago. Unfortunately the restaurateur, more or less knowingly, ruined a lunch that should have been a moment of celebration for a work success. We were so annoyed and humiliated by the attitude and tone (out loud in front of the astonished customers) that the restaurateur gave us that we didn't order anything to drink, except water and nothing else after the first courses. I would have liked to scold the owner, but my mother, who was present and who paid for lunch, if we want to call it that, asked me to let it go, recognizing however the great ignorance of the restaurateur.

04/02/2025: I had a mixed Piedmontese starter and a first course... all very good, simple and refined. Before starting with the ordered dishes, they served a small tasting with salami, focaccia which was also very welcome and two hot snacks... the place is clean and tidy and the service adequate. I was there during the week and nevertheless there were many customers, which I also find to be synonymous with guarantee!

We have been allowing ourselves this luxury every now and then for years and have always been positively impressed and satisfied. First of all for the dishes (it would take more than a few lines to praise Chef Andrè) and certainly for all the staff and the environment.

Dishes prepared by Chef Michel down to the smallest details, with excellent and refined raw materials. As for the rooms, they are simply fantastic in an antique Tyrolean style, clean and welcoming. I recommend such an experience to everyone... it's a shame to only be able to give 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
