The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, the dishes are exquisite, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, and you can taste the passion that goes into their preparation. Besides the delicious food, we really appreciated the fair and honest prices, which were absolutely in line with the quality of the service and the food. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good, authentic cuisine and excellent value.

The food was delicious; we enjoyed the homemade first courses, which were delicious, and the second courses, which I would say were spectacular. 05/09/2025: We had the great pleasure of visiting I Momenti, and it was a true feast for the palate. Tasting the dishes—from delicate octopus, through exquisite snails and fresh French oysters, to salmon tartare—transported us to a completely different culinary dimension. Every bite was perfectly crafted, and the final dessert was the perfect culmination of the entire feast. The restaurant delights with its elegance and atmosphere, and the service—full of class, smiles, and professionalism—made us feel special. Sincere applause and immense recognition also go to the chef, whose true talent and passion are evident in every dish. This is a place we will happily return to and one we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who appreciates beautiful flavors and the highest quality. 🤍🥰

The food was incredible and the vibe that they create is one in a million. The owners make it feel like you’re sitting down to eat with family, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

This family-run restaurant has been around for decades and continues to uphold the same incredibly high standards of quality and care that date back to when the owner’s mother used to cook in the kitchen. When you imagine a true Italian trattoria—where everything is handmade, from the prosciutto and pasta to the sauces and desserts—this is exactly what comes to mind. There’s no cutting corners here. Every bite reflects a legacy of passion and tradition that’s increasingly rare to find. This restaurant also holds a deeply personal meaning for our family. My Nono used to walk over an hour from his house just to eat here, swearing they made the best tripe he’d ever had. This summer, we returned to Torrice for a family reunion and decided to honour his memory by making a reservation for 13 of us—grandparents, siblings, and grandkids included. It turned out to be one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip. The food was off-the-charts spectacular. From the handmade pasta to the generous antipasti, everything was bursting with flavour and clearly made with care. The wine flowed, the service was warm and attentive, and the desserts capped things off perfectly. We ordered so much food and loved it so much that we ended up staying far longer than planned—just so we could enjoy every last bite. The tripe was, of course, a standout. My parents both ordered it in tribute to Nono, and after just one taste, they completely understood why he used to walk so far to get it. They were so impressed, they each ordered seconds—not because they were still hungry, but because it was simply too good to pass up. Trattoria da Sestilio isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a living piece of culinary history, full of warmth, tradition, and soul. Whether you have roots in the area or are just passing through, this is one of those special places that leaves a lasting impression. We can’t wait to return.

20/07/2025: I went today with friends, and we had a great time! The place is a traditional trattoria, with fresh handmade pasta. The Sunday cannelloni were delicious! The sour cherry tart was out of this world. They offer—and be warned, offer—bruschetta as an appetizer and sweet treats at the end. The owner welcomed us into his home (literally, back in the day, it's a great story, ask him!), and the staff were kind and friendly, and the service was fast. The price was fair and reasonable (generous portions!) I had a starter, a main course, red and white wine, dessert, coffee, liqueur, water, and cover charge—all for €30. In Rome, I would have paid €50 and eaten less. We'll gladly return!

05/09/2025: It's been years since I've had such an excellent lampredotto sandwich or peposo. Lately, the "lampredottai" (lampredotto joints) I used to go to have lost some of their quality. Here, I found courteous, fast, and even friendly service, but above all, excellent quality ingredients. The sandwich bread is perfect and doesn't fall apart like it often does. It's also incredibly comfortable, with seating both inside and out. Well done, keep it up! I'll definitely be back again!!!

21/07/2025: Lampredotto is an institution in Florence, and every Florentine has their favorite lampredotto maker: Lapo is mine. When I met him, he amazed me by serving me cold Lambruschino with lampredotto, which I later discovered is fantastic in the summer because it "cuts the fat." But lampredotto isn't fatty; it's the leanest meat of the entire animal, and it was the only food I could eat after an operation that kept me on a strict diet for several months. In short: Lapo weaned me on lampredotto! And lampredotto is just the most famous of Lapo's dishes, which he uses all the "poor" cuts, from sinew to breast, to tripe, which he also reworks "on the plate" like inzimino, cacciatora, artichokes, and everything delicious you can imagine with the "fifth quarter." Can you say that? Lapo is a high-end tripe maker who doesn't show off and delivers high quality. I don't want to make comparisons, since every Florentine has their favorite tripe shop...

28/08/2025: The restaurant is in the center of Ravenna. We ate outside under the porticoes. We drank a glass of champagne as a welcome drink and followed it with a bottle of another truly remarkable champagne, not mass-market but absolutely affordable for a champagne. The seafood was fresh and the menu was adapted based on market availability. The combinations, at times daring but successful, included raw and cooked dishes, seafood and meat. Carlo, the extremely knowledgeable waiter, explained the wines and dishes perfectly, guiding us to the right pairings. We'll definitely be back.
