15/10/2025: I ordered carbonara and pizza. The pizza wasn't as flavorful as I expected, but the steamed carbonara was delicious. Unlike the Korean version, it was made with only cheese, egg yolk, and bacon, without any broth, and it paired perfectly with the boiled noodles.

21/09/2025: Spent 10 days in italy traveling north and south. Went to restaurant after restaurant, all better than the next. Then we found Osteria L'Orciaia, walking in felt like being invited into someones home. Its family run and quite literally the best of all our dining experiences. The family couldnt be more hospitable and the food couldnt have been better. Its the only location we had a meal at twice. When im back in italy, no matter where i land; i will travel here. An absolute 10/10, if you want a true italian experience you found it.

10/10/2025: Great restaurant that clearly takes pride in their food. Lovely retro vibe inside. Service old fashioned which I liked. Food was tasty and plentiful. Homemade pasta lovely and fresh, beef carpaccio and salmon tartare were excellent, pork with porcini to die for. Dessert were especially good and lovingly prepared. Wines we tried were superb. Hosts were clearly enjoying hosting which is always a plus. Best in Lierna and not just because of food which is amazing but the whole experience. I went away happy and smiling twice. Grazie mille

13/10/2025: A lovely place to enjoy delicious sandwiches with unusual ingredients and delicious desserts... the cheesecake (always available) is a must, but the other desserts are also excellent! They also have a variety of beers, and the service is fast and attentive!

05/10/2025: Bring an appetite - this warm and friendly "down home cooking" place was exactly what we needed after our wine tasting. Excellent meats, delicious cheeses and fire grilled veggies that kept us more than happy. These are the type of places that the real Italy is all about, so if you are in the country-side and want to experience something more authentic than the tourist traps, then start with the place and just keep exploring. You won't regret it!

14/10/2025: A lovely discovery during a lunch break in the hunting lodge area. Right next to the magnificent Stupinigi hunting lodge is this very characteristic restaurant, a beautifully appointed location with a beautiful wooden staircase leading to the upper floor. The menu is sophisticated and high-quality. While we waited, we were served a delicious brioche bun accompanied by dried vegetables. I had the excellent raw beef, and the spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, with a creamy Piedmontese burrata and 'nduja sauce, which was also very good. With our coffee, we were served some fantastic homemade gianduiotti. Highly recommended. I'll be back.
