I'm a bit torn about rating this restaurant, because my experience was marked by stark contrasts between the quality of the service and the livability of the place.
The atmosphere: A decidedly sore point. The dining room is overcrowded, with too many tables crammed into a decidedly inadequate space. As a result, the tables are very close together and the atmosphere becomes extremely noisy, making it difficult even to chat.
The service: The staff is excellent, courteous, and meticulous. However, the time management is decidedly too fast. In just an hour, we saw various appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses parade across the table. More than a relaxing lunch, it felt like a race against time: the risk is that you gorge yourself without being able to fully enjoy the dishes, which deserve a more relaxed pace.
In summary: The food is good and the staff is excellent, but the rush and chaos of the dining room take away the pleasure of conviviality. Would I go back? Maybe yes, but only on a weekday and hoping for less crowds.

The reservation went very well: I called ahead, specified the group size, and everything was perfect. The problem was that only when we sat down did we discover that lunch was exclusively a fixed menu—a piece of information that would have been helpful when booking, even if only to better organize ourselves or make an informed choice.
I brought the situation to the attention of the dining room manager, who was helpful and found a reasonable solution. So far, so good. I simply added, in a calm and non-controversial tone, that perhaps it would be helpful to communicate the lunch format when booking. The response, unfortunately, was rather curt: I was told it was my fault, because "it's been like this for forty years," and I should have known better. A customer should never be told they're wrong for not guessing something they weren't told.
As for the food, however, I have nothing to complain about: the appetizers are plentiful and truly delicious, very local and authentic, and the first courses are excellent. The portions are generous—perhaps even a little too generous for those, like us, who don't like to weigh themselves down. We hadn't planned on having the meat, but it arrived anyway, and we reluctantly left it almost entirely alone, especially since the only option for taking it home was foil—not exactly ideal.
Another thing worth considering: with a set menu, knowing the dishes and allergens in advance isn't optional. One of the appetizers contained bell peppers, to which I'm allergic. If I'd had the menu beforehand, I could have adjusted. I understand it's not easy to manage, but it's something that would really make a difference.
The place was packed, and the acoustics left much to be desired—it was very noisy throughout the entire lunch—but that's a minor point.
In summary: authentic, quality cuisine, a beautiful setting, an overall pleasant experience. It's a shame about the way things were handled, something that could have been resolved much more simply. I recommend it to anyone looking for a different Sunday in good company, but knowing what to expect in advance.

Best place we’ve visited in Sicilië. Exceptional quality, local dishes and more than a heavy eater can eat. The staff was very kind and the experience starts the moment you walk in. The view is also beautiful, although it was already dark when we arrived. Would strongly recommend to everybody. Also, it was only 35 euro per person (even only 30 for my girlfriend because she is a vegetarian), we paid the same for only a bottle of wine in Taormina.

A wonderful experience. The restaurant is located on a mountain overlooking the sea and is surrounded by glass walls that give you the feeling of eating while suspended in mid-air. The food is literally exquisite and plentiful, but it doesn't leave you feeling nauseous; you can taste the carefully selected ingredients and the combinations are well-executed.
The staff was kind, welcoming, and above all efficient. The dining room was completely full, but all the courses arrived one after the other without any significant delays. Congratulations on the offering and the organization!

Everything was delicious...I didn't give it a 5 because you have to book some things in advance and there's no parking; you're in the middle of a small village...great view of Taormina...
Highly recommended, but book a couple of days in advance.

We tried it on May 1st, so the fixed menu was the same for everyone, but the experience was still positive. A large selection of traditional appetizers (except for the veal with tuna sauce, which was decidedly out of place for the area), two first courses, including excellent homemade macaroni with ragù, and a mixed grill of meats. Service was very fast despite the restaurant being fully booked. The view from the large windows is also lovely. Definitely recommended.

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance. A window to the world! The owners, who are not very talkative, amazed us with excellent appetizers. (It's not easy to find authentic flavors these days, but here it is!) I highly recommend it. Thank you.
