Excellent trattoria! Courteous and attentive service. Pleasant and refined atmosphere. Excellent quality dishes, simple and with a focus on seasonal ingredients. We ordered a cured meats appetizer, an excellent steak with dandelion salad, cherry tomatoes, and wild garlic. Everything was delicious. A place to choose with your eyes closed.

I absolutely loved it here! It is easily one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. ​It’s a super authentic spot with a charming, small, and rustic interior. The food is outstanding, and the people are just awesome and lovely. A major highlight was my tuna steak, which was cooked in a stove over an open flame right next to my table! You can genuinely feel the care and passion poured into every single detail. ​I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Unfortunately, I only discovered it on my last day on the Island, otherwise I would have absolutely gone back again! :)

The beauty and goodness of eating at trattorias. The search for raw ingredients transforms into something excellent, even when it's simple. Like the goat with olives we ate today, for example. But I can say the same about the maccarrones a ferrittu with ragù, or the mixed cured meats platter, or the mixed grill. Everything was truly delicious. A warm welcome and attentive service. I'd heard about it, and I must say it lived up to expectations.

A very beautiful, traditional restaurant with authentic charm. We were there in October, just before the end of lunch service, and the restaurant stayed open for us – a very kind gesture. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the advice was both knowledgeable and warm. There was absolutely no sense of rush, which made our visit particularly pleasant. The food was excellent and typically Sardinian – fresh, aromatic, and lovingly prepared. We would love to return and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

20/04/2026: Highly recommend Ristorante Barbagia Olbia. From the minute we stepped in the door, we were made so welcome. A beautiful restaurant with Sardinia at heart. The food is sublime. The best we had in Olbia. Locals recommended the restaurant to us and it did not disappoint. We will be back.
12/04/2026: The best meal I had in Sardinia during my Easter week 2026 visit! I had the wild boar in a sweet/sour sauce with olives and grilled veggies, while my partner had wild boar ragu with handmade pasta. Both were delicious and the serving sizes sufficient for a second, takeaway meal. Also remarkable were the fluffy grated pecorino over sliced tomatoes as antipasti and the almond cake for dessert….followed by memorably strong fennel-based digestifs. Lovely service, too.
