26/05/2025: È veramente il pranzo della domenica. Ri-vivi l’emozione culinaria che percepivi quando pranzavi dalla nonna la domenica. L’atmosfera sana che percepivi, i profumi, l’accoglienza che la nonna riusciva a darti in modo incondizionato. Ecco la descrizione visiva che posso darvi dopo aver pranzato al Monte Frumentario. Una ampia scelta di vini accompagneranno i piatti che vorrete gustare. Consiglio i ravioli ripieni di ricotta serviti con una salsa di pistacchio.

04/05/2025: A truly impressive collection of art in a truly impressive building. Palazzo Butera oozes of good taste - in the way it’s been restored, furnished, and taken care of. All the exhibited works are from The Francesca and Massimo Valsecchi collection and they are some of the best I have seen on my travels. The building itself is awe-inspiring - the terrace, the lush greenery throughout, most notably the jacaranda tree, the big blossomed Solandra, palm trees and many more; and, of course, the views from the top terrace, The Torrino Panorama. I could have easily spent a full day at the Palazzo, but was unfortunately short on time. I do hope to be able to come back and visit the place again. It has become a personal favourite!

21/05/2025: Discovered by chance, we were impressed by the quality of the cuisine. Simple, traditional, but truly excellent. Cappelletti in broth like in the old days, exceptional, free-range cockerel with very tender meat accompanied by the best baked potatoes in a long time. Very good service, very good bill. In the middle of the Romagna hills, highly recommended!

02/05/2025: Mia moglie ed io siamo stati in questa bellissima terra dove abbiamo incontrato questo locale caldo, accogliente, vero. Abbiamo assaggiato prodotti squisitamente locali preparati con grande cura e sapienza. Pici, coratella d’agnello, cotolette d’agnello, fagioli e cicoria. Semplicemente buonissimi. I ragazzi in sala praticamente perfetti. Vini locali buoni. Non siamo di zona ma torneremo sicuramente. Da non perdere.

24/04/2025: A culinary highlight in Bassano del Grappa! I absolutely loved Ristorantino Il Gatto e La Volpe. As soon as you enter you can feel the warm atmosphere, familiar, charming and authentically Italian. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared and lovingly presented. I can particularly recommend the scallop carpaccio and the prawns in citrus marinade, simply a poem! The service was attentive and friendly, you immediately feel welcome. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. If you want to eat good and stylish fish in Bassano del Grappa, you've come to the right place. I'll definitely be back! 5 out of 5 stars, absolutely recommended

19/04/2025: Piccolo ristorante appena fuori dal centro storico, menù prevalentemente pesce. Assolutamente da provare il loro piatto della casa con gli assaggi di (quasi) tutto quanto c’è in menù. Buono il vino in caraffa. Prezzi davvero contenuti.

Needless to reiterate that the rooms were full of customers...Happy...Also because they were served at the speed of light... 11/05/2025: An incredible experience. The place is truly breathtaking, with a privileged view of Lake Como, where you can enjoy a fantastic moment of relaxation. The food is delicious: you notice that the products are of high quality, often homemade and are prepared to perfection. The menu also includes offers that may seem unusual but which reflect the territory and once tried they definitely repay the choice. Finally, a special note for the owners, Umberto's family makes this place unique, with their care and attention they made us feel at home and gave us a wonderful afternoon. Thanks again.

09/05/2025: A rustic house, family-owned for at least 200 years, very well maintained and surrounded by nature. The view of the lake is breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel and restaurant are run by the very warm family. The rooms are tidy and large. I have never eaten better meat prepared so well than there. The polenta uncia went really well with it. After long business days at the trade fair in Milan, this refuge was the most beautiful place to end the evening with a perfect culinary experience. Thank you very much for these wonderful three evenings and nights.

25/05/2025: This was one of the best dinners we have ever had. My wife and I came here upon the recommendation of our rental host, and we are so glad we did. It was more than just a fine meal...it was an authentic Italian experience. Great atmosphere in a candlelit stone room, and great service from the family that owns the place. It is probably important to know that it won't be a typical restaurant experience...there is no menu (it is fixed price) and we didn't even know what would come out next. What came out was course after course of exceptional Italian food, and all for a very reasonable price. This was one of the most unique dining experiences I've ever had, and it was also one of the very best. I would highly, highly recommend coming up to the Ristorante Pepen.

So a very characteristic and intimate place suitable for romantic dinners Quiet and clean well furnished with clean toilets like few are seen Fast and informal service that puts you at ease Let's move on to the food: good wine list a series of appetizers two first courses two second courses and dessert Just the right portions that allow you to get to the end full The quality of the food is good. Let's move on to expectations; seeing the location one expects very imaginative dishes and innovative flavors instead the cuisine and the presentations are from a trattoria but not in a derogatory sense but in the good sense of the origins that is good and classic flavors that take you back to home cooking as it should be in trattorias. In conclusion if you are looking for a quiet and romantic place with good characteristic food ok but if you are looking for impressive dishes with innovative flavors look elsewhere

16/05/2025: We had the pleasure of experiencing a truly magical evening at Dari, in the heart of Verona. The place is a rare jewel: every detail speaks of taste, passion and care. The staff is prepared, attentive without ever being intrusive, and the owner embodies an elegance that is difficult even to describe, capable of giving value to every moment. The food lived up to the context: excellent dishes, presented with refinement and designed to amaze. Each course is a perfect balance between flavor, aesthetics and creativity. An experience that we will not forget and that we recommend to anyone who wants to experience something more than a simple dinner.
