12/11/2025: Everything about Miil is just perfect. The ambiance is top-notch, the service is excellent, the sommelier is superb, and the food is (almost) unbeatable. Finally, a restaurant that offers excellent wines by the glass – fantastic! Whether it's the dishes or the interior design, the attention to detail is evident everywhere.
11/11/2025: We tried the 90 euro tasting menu, which includes 5 courses and a welcome appetizer. For two, we spent 222 euros, including a glass of white and red of our choice, an extra glass of sparkling wine, and a half glass of sparkling wine. What can I say? Money well spent. The cuisine was amazing, especially the appetizer, which was divided into 5 small plates each. All the other courses were also a pleasant discovery, offering an explosion of flavors with every course. The service was friendly and unobtrusive, yet attentive. A great place to spend an evening in good company.

15/11/2025: I went for lunch today and had the eight-course tasting menu. The location is very pretty, probably a renovated old house in the valleys, and it really gives the feeling of an intimate moment.
Before talking about the menu, I'd like to say a few words about the service: the two ladies in the dining room were wonderful, anticipating every need, punctual but never intrusive, with a smile plastered on their faces and, above all, knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to listen to them discuss both the dishes and the wine. This should be the norm in a restaurant of this caliber, but having been to several, I assure you it's not.
To discuss the menu in detail: €140 + €35 for the pairing with three glasses of wine, one of the best value I've experienced.
The amuse bouche are very interesting, from the sweetness of the pumpkin to the more intense flavor of the takoyaki and chicken livers, finishing with the mock macaron and the rocher, with a hint of fried herbs (what a frying!).
The first two dishes were probably the ones that left me most amazed, perhaps because I had underestimated them: course 0 cream of cauliflower with trout caviar and thyme, an incredible balance, the part on the surface pushes so much with the savory that the cream then dulls (by the way, it almost seemed like a foam with its consistency) and the herb that then finishes off, enhancing all the previous flavors and preparing you for the next bite. The cavolo nero leaf with truffle doesn't seem like a dish with too many pretensions in terms of flavor, but the combination of the bitterness, the truffle on top, and what's under the leaf makes it explode in the mouth and for me deserves the award for best dish on the menu. I'm not a fan of snails as a raw ingredient, but the pairing with the formai de mut and the bitterness of the asparagus is very interesting. The sweetbreads are another dish of the highest quality, cooked and therefore obviously perfectly textured, with an enviable aroma of the grill and maillard. The two first courses were pleasant, but in my opinion, a step behind the appetizers and main courses. The black lemon in the rice was a real highlight, giving it a truly interesting twist. The eel was very smoky, but I personally enjoyed it, with the acidic grapefruit and hazelnut cream keeping it under control very well. I really appreciated the two versions of lamb, including sirloin, paired with tarragon (my opinion: the herb is better than the meat, and not because the meat isn't). On the rolled belly, the herbs tried everything they could but couldn't quite make it. The flavor was very intense, and it should be pleasant because it left the mouth feeling very full and heavy, but the kitchen knows this well, and in fact, the fir granita arrived next, which, besides being delicious, brought the palate back to a completely neutral state. A sugar-free dessert, but very balanced, with a perfect level of sweetness, and a truly remarkable little pastry, with the added punch of the cannoli with whiskey cream.
In short: exceptional cuisine, perfect pairings, beautiful location, and impeccable staff. I'll definitely be back to try the other menus, especially the vegetarian one, given the magic the chefs have shown they can work!

07/12/2025: I happened to return after a long time, and I have to say, Marino never disappoints! It's worth a try for its unique, historic, warm, and friendly atmosphere. I had the best tagliolini with truffle I've ever tasted! Definitely worth a try.

28/11/2025: Honestly, too, too, too expensive! A measly slice of pizza with potatoes costs 5 euros??? The quality and the crisp are fine, but we're still talking about a slice of pizza with potatoes that elsewhere would cost me 2 euros...never again. Thanks.

02/10/2025: Wheelchair accessible restaurant. Free parking in front of the restaurant. We booked through The Fork. The waiter was friendly and accommodating.
Welcoming atmosphere, attractive table setting. Good quality food with unique and sophisticated combinations.
Medium-high prices.
28/09/2025: Sunday lunch was nothing short of spectacular!
We tried the pumpkin and speck risotto and the truffle ragù gnocchi.
The tartare with foie gras was delicious.
You absolutely must try the rose cake with freshly made zabaglione!!

21/10/2025: I'm vegan, and even when I call ahead and they tell me it's okay, I often find a few options, mostly banal ones (vegetable pasta and grilled vegetables). I ate here, from appetizer to dessert, and everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back! Fantastic staff.
21/10/2025: The restaurant is very good. The food is quality, and even though it may not seem like it, you'll be full, so it has two Bs: Beautiful and Good. The price seems a bit steep, although in Italy, good food isn't cheap. It costs more than €60 per person with a standard wine, which isn't cheap. It has its own parking lot.
I'll be back.

05/11/2025: We had dinner at "Casa Chef" last night and were absolutely blown away. The welcome was warm, and the wait staff pampered us throughout the dinner, with attentive yet never intrusive service.
The ambiance is exquisite, perfect for a special occasion.
But the real star is the food. It's immediately clear why it's called "Casa Chef": every dish is a small masterpiece. We started with a seafood appetizer that amazed us with its freshness and originality. For the main course, the food was cooked to perfection, with flavors that blended beautifully.
The desserts are equally as impressive.
Rarely do you find places with such customer care and such high quality. Congratulations to all the staff and, of course, the Chef! We'll be back very soon.

13/12/2025: Our party of 6 was warmly welcomed and served here. Ambience and service was perfetto. House Chianti bottle was $22 or $29 depending on the situation. (Yes, we went in for aperitivo and returned for dinner later that night.) We ordered 5 different pastas and the veal. All were very great but believe the lasagna may have taken first prize. Close though with the wild boar or house named Rosso Crudo with thick bacon and tomato sauce. Gnocchi with pesto was very good as well. Would definitely return but there.
12/12/2025: We walked by RossoCrudo restaurant for dinner and loved it. Matteo and Massimiliano welcomed us warmly—they were kind and helpful in guiding our food choices. The venue is beautiful and cozy, the food incredibly delicious. My daughter ordered the steak, and I had the salmon; the vegetables tasted divine. I highly recommend this spot for a wonderful dining experience in Florence
