Do you like thin peace of amazing bread which is crunchy? Sauce which touches all the tasting buds? Amazing amount of meat and variety?
Then you are in a right place.
Not too much bread. Crispy with every bite. Juicy. Salty. Spicy. Savory. Sweet.
And on top of that Carlo is a the best host. We enjoyed vino. Enjoyed food. And coming here for the food became a normality. Lower standards you will not accept after that and yet it felt like being at home with a Chef who is a magician.
Make sure to visit this place on the way from airport or to the airport !
09/11/2025: The menu only lists sandwiches with meat or fish, but upon request (in Italian), Carlo conjured up a mega delicious vegetarian sandwich with artichokes, mozzarella and onions!

Sicilian wine varieties I’d not yet tried and the Fava Bean soup with cheese. Enjoyable experience.
09/11/2025: Wines from the region with good service, but more attention needs to be paid to the snacks, especially the bread; we didn't like the focaccia bread.

12/11/2025: Visited here from Phoenix, Arizona while I went to an apartment in Certaldo, Italy. I wouldn’t say it’s the best gelato in the world, but it’s very good. And the location is nice right in the Piazza.

The chef trained at the Illkirch hotel school and clearly puts his skills to good use. Bravo!

15/12/2025: A quiet, unpretentious, charming place. The service was fabulous---the matron checked on us just enough to make us feel we were being well taken care of, but was never overbearing or intrusive. She had perfect suggestions for food and wine, even telling us when we were ordering that we were ordering too much, and that we shouldn't get certain dishes. The food itself was delicious, everything impeccably prepared and beautifully presented. The chef even came out to ask us how we were enjoying it. The prices, especially considering the quality of the food, are eminently reasonable. I recommend this place without reservation or qualification. Even though I will be in Milan only a week, I plan to return here before I leave.

08/11/2025: Refood was one of our favorite places we ate at during our trip to Sorrento! We ended up eating there twice it was so amazing. We had the calamari, clams linguine, lasagna, and gnocchi a la Sorrento. The calamari was tender and tasted like it had been caught that same day, and the gnocchi was made using potatoes from the owner’s farm. Both times we went the service was great and we loved getting to know the amazing family who owns the place. I highly recommend! Be sure and check out the owner’s wine cellar while you’re there as well.
30/10/2025: We were a bit pushed for time with our toddler with us so only had time for a main and quick desert I feel I must leave a review. The traditional local dishes were perfect and even our smallest family member approved! We had the Gnocchi alla Sorrento and a Spaghetti alla nerano that was perfectly balanced (when a cheese dish like that could have ended up cloying). The service was also very friendly. Although the building is spacious it has a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Grazie millie!

We recommend the pani frattau, sublime.

25/11/2025: We received very friendly and attentive service and were given an excellent wine recommendation to accompany our meal.
We opted for a set menu consisting of three appetizers, one main course, and one dessert. All the dishes were delicious, of high quality, and attractively presented.
Our evening was a complete success.
We visited the restaurant on a Monday at the end of November. During peak season, it's certainly advisable to reserve a table.
22/11/2025: If the restaurant isn't really good, I don't even bother writing a review. I'll leave you a photo of the desserts. I don't like spoiling restaurants; you can enjoy your own experience. My dog enjoyed the steak 🐶

Delicious meat, a nice atmosphere, a wide selection, and the staff are extremely kind and courteous. Prices are super reasonable. I've already personally complimented the owner (who works on site) and will be back as soon as possible. Highly recommended. Bye, Massimiliano

It felt like we were eating at someone's home – warm, authentic, and simply comfortable.
A place we'd happily recommend and certainly won't be the last time we visit!

The restaurant is small but very welcoming, with a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
The menu is interesting, with truly tasty traditional mountain dishes.
The staff is friendly and helpful: the young woman who explained the menu to us (I don't know her name) was especially good, with a polite and welcoming attitude.
Fair prices and excellent quality—we'll definitely be back!
